The  cryptocurrency market right now is turning into a sea of RED...with almost all coins down not just with Bitcoin! I am sure that this can go down as one of the major corrections experienced by the market but just like in the past what goes down will also go up...we just need a little more time for things to settle down and get normal again.

This big dip is the best opportunity for anyone who has the money to buy cryptocurrency at the cheap rate and then make good profits when things will be normal again in a few days. Surely, things can get worse before they can get better. I am just holding on and just continue on watching the market go redder minutes after minutes until things can subside.

Maybe it's bad news for those who own the coins, but now is not a good time to sell. I think we should keep and wait. But perhaps very few people can keep calm to do that.

Today Bitcoin price is dumping. Probably because many people sell their Bitcoin and Altcoin for Christmas and year-end. And so do I. Sell ​​my Altcoin for year-end holidays.

People are cashing out from alts and turning to bitcoins as I see that bitcoins are going up. If this gets enough traction, bitcoins could reach a new all time high since it came from a very low starting point. This could catapult bitcoins to extremely high price level of even beyond $20,000. But well, we can't really say for sure until it does also pump up. We'll see in the next few days.

It will go down till 13000 $ and after that it will increase again and make an all time high at least 20000 $, believe me i am from the future my friend lol. Anyway when the crypto market turns to red it only means that its another opportunity and time to buy another set of coins again.

The Bitcoin daily chart is starting to look like a Christmas tree. Actually, the Bitcoin correction is useful for future trades because it won't goes parabolic all the time. People are taking profit for Christmas, and the new year that is good, it's gives a chance for people to buyback BItcoin at a cheaper price.

as per future predictions bitcoin price will go end till 12000$ usd and up by 50% later over some time it may take upto 3 months , Don't worry just hold the bitcoin do not be hurry to sell your investment.
We can invest in Bitcoin if it reaches 11000 usd For sure you will get profit if you hold for 3 months only.

Indian government has recently send near about 5 Lakh notices who traded , purchased or sold  bitcoins  between 1 jan 2016 to 31 dec 2016 , as per rules they need to pay tax on their capital gain , it may be the reason for this.

It's the cycle here in crypto a lot of coins drop by 30% now i see like this already in august 01, 2017 fork but after that it go so high that you can't imagine,the best to do now is do invest in bitcoin and some altcoin that's the better to do now.Moreover risk money that you can afford to lose incase of bitcoin not go well and i think don't panic if you invest then wait for profit or prepare yourself also to lose.

Same sentiments,, the holidays,, the corrections,, the high transaction fees and that is all normal to me.. Bitcoin grew quite a lot lately , that's why it was this sudden drop. It was expected to fall and stabilize as much as possible.
I also think that this fall was also influenced by the fact that many sold for real money for holiday expenses, the high transaction fees and that is all normal.

I suppose if bitcoin goes continuously down, my prediction about the price would be 8k and it is my maximum decrease prediction on bitcoin but we shouldn't be panic about the dip because soon after first one or two weeks of january, we should definitely see market growing up higher than ever before.
I am also holding till the bitcoin price recovets and touches all time new record

So far it looks like 35-40% correction, which is not untypical for bitcoin. Remember, for every seller there is a buyer, and the volumes are large. It means that there are people buying a lot of coins. It gives me hope that this is just a correction and the long-term upward trend will continue.

Christmas/New Year. If anyone remembers bitcoin crapped during this time when it first pumped over $1000. I think some are selling due to that but others are selling due to panic attack and chain reaction. I have mentioned earlier that in my opinion this would follow till first week of January before everyone is back from holidays. Good time to buy, not so great time to sell. Hodl

A great opportunity like you said for us by  buy again.  :-*  Finally a correction is seen in the price, a healthy correction for the crypto market. Support should probably come to back up at prices around 10,000-12,000$ , and maybe during the month of January 2018,the prices could go back to the normal price again, so if people are really wishing to enter the market, now is the time, don't end up regretting later on.

I think this is the time that we need to buy  again and pick some cryptocurrency that have a potential so your money will going to increase soon just think 100 times and readcarefully by choosing cryptocurrency.

I can sense that there is a correlation between Bitcoin and BitcoinCash. Like right now, BitcoinCash is also crashing just like some other cryptocurrencies in the market. The message is quite clear: We are all in this together and if we allow other groups in cryptocurrency continue killing one another then we might as well forget about cryptocurrency. People who are supporting BitcoinCash should not do it by destroying Bitcoin because we can all co-exist happily with each other. The market is quite big so there is actually no need for a dog-eat-dog type of competition. We are all hoping that instead of the infighting going on, we should pick our fight with a more rationale mindset.

I guess it will go down for a while indeed, before things get better.

I personnally think that bitcoin will drop till 9k, that is to say levels around which it was before the high rise by the end of 2017...

The sea of red has turned into a field of green. Almost all coins have recovered some of their losses today. The correction was expected; Bitcoin had doubled in value in December itself (after increasing by a factor of 10 from January to November). Any rational person would expect a pull back, as some people book profits. The true believers won't be influenced by this short-time volatility. :)

Bitcoin will recover, the current fall in price is just people cashing out before Christmas and then investors see this and assume its bitcoin's bubble popping. But the Bitcoins price is not a bubble, it's price rise is due the rate at which bitcoin mining difficulty keeps increasing, which has made nearly all home GPU miners redundant and unprofitable and now only big mining farms can keep up, so its essentially these farms and large pools which control the flow of most bitcoins. As most of these guys are holding and spending, supply is low and demand is high and this keeps prices rising.

It's about the long game, not short term. It seems to have stopped sliding now and I don't see it sliding much more unless he US govt dumps their hoard onto the market all at once.

Great thing is that despite all this red we have experienced in the last days, the price has always been up more than 1000% this year, so if you look at things a bit more precisely, there hasn't been any red at all. It's in people's nature to think that the market is going down big time, where some even said that we entered a bear market. If people stop looking at short term charts, and also stop taking the market seriously from the moment they enter, the panic would be way less severe. How many of these short term sell-offs have we seen this year? A lot for sure, and every time the market broke through a new high afterwards, but people still don't seem to understand that.

The sea of red can be also called "blood bath" and that is why there are a lot of memes regarding to this kind of scenarios when everything is in incredible red numbers. Anyway, we are now seeing a green bath, haha, just joking.

Yes, you're correct but that's not the only thing which cause the dip in price of bitcoin because the high transaction fee and delay in transaction confirmation leads to people switching to altcoin instead of bitcoin.

You know now such a dynamic that one day is red, then green and so on. Some positions are stably green or red. In general, this is not an indicator that everything is on the road to a collapse, and we need to panic.

Nobody can control bitcoin, if the bitcoin are turning into red, well there are a lot of us selling their bitcoin already that is why you are seeing a lot of red. We cannot control the dips. This is also an opportunity to those who wants to invest more bitcoin so they can also gain profit in the future. Well that's right, this is a great opportunity especially for traders to buy Bitcoin at a cheap price. No one should worry about its collapse because the possible cause is the profit taking of the hodlers. After this year, it's definitely going to go back to the top. Profit taking probably was a factor but the main one was the news and FUD with South Korea, among many other reasons. Many of the weak hands will have been shaken off now and those who have held through this dip will surely hold for a while longer to see the rewards of their strong hands and resolve.
