Title: Lost BTC? Can it be traced back thru Blockchain? Post by: rijidij on December 22, 2017, 01:08:05 PM Ok, so back in 2011 i purchased 1 btc off a guy I used to game with for about $100, I was pretty skeptical and made a new email for the wallet.
Fast forward 6 years and I've forgotten the email, password, everything. Is there a way I can track down the transaction through the blockchain if I know the person who sold me the coin's Wallet ID? I think you have lost your bitcoin because, according to the principle of blockchain, when a transaction is executed, there is no way to reverse it. Once you lost any amount of Bitcoin, you will never get it back. |
