Still safe to use etherdelta??

Follow their official twitter account, they will probably announce when it is completely safe to use etherdelta.

If you are using Etherdelta then you must use metamask. MEtamask saved me when etherdelta hacked.
Its a very nice tool and safe to use.

The problem was solved but it was unfortunate that some users had to lose money.

I never thought that etherdelta can be hacked when I saw the tweet of ED I was in a shock. I still have my 4 ethereum deposited there once ED gets running I'll withdraw every thing from there, I will not use it any more.

we are all waiting for the big news etherdleta to honest the site it self needed a rehabilitation because even before the hack
the exchange site needed some work.

I think it is still safe to use , but I don't suggest to store you assets in any exchanges , better put them in your local wallets.

It's safe but remember you must try to flush your dns to avoid your connection still connected to the previous dns but overall I'm using etherdelta right now and all of the transaction goes smoothly.

Yes, their team is always up date if there is a change. Through the media twitter will know the latest news about etherdelta.

I think i have learned my lesson already. Although i haven't lost any amount of money unlike others, seeing a lot of them lose money if frightening enough for me to make me turn a 180 degrees away from etherdelta and look for better ones out there. Im currently looking at metamask right now. If i don't see anything wrong with it, i might use this rather than risk my hard earned funds on etherdelta.

Do hackers only reach DNS and they can access to our security data and private key ?

Flush your DNS cache before you go to the site again. Otherwise leave it for a few more days.

In cases like this I would rather wait a little bit before sending funds to the exchange, even after positive announcement of Etherdelta. Better safe than sorry.

Now etherdelta website is now resume on its trading platform, I don't know if it is still safe to use. Honestly I felt scared to use it again, due to for what happen yesterday. I think I need to check their social media update about it.

For me etherdelta is yobit of decentralized exchanges, and don't trust them I really need a secure decentralized exchange.

Based on its tweet , i think its back and safe now . But still , we should always be vigilant about this phishing/hacking attempts . Bookmark etherdelta's website so you wont be able to be fooled by those external link . Always open it on our bookmarks . Plus dont click links in your email unless you trust that its safe and you know the sender . Although its very risky to do that . You'll never know if the sender is being used by a hacker . So here is some tips , never ever click links from stangers / random emails etc . Always check the address bar , it should have some special green words before the site address . And make sure to double check before importing your account . Enter a dummy private key , and if you can login then its the legit site . If not then you should stay away from it . Thats what i do always .

Well that is the most expensive coins are traded on other exchanges. So I recommend to use extensions for browsers EtherAddressLookup, it will protect you from phishing sites and will help to save your coins and private keys.

I never use direct access to Etherdelta because still risky for me. The safest way are using Metamask to secure your private key from Hacker

If we are very careful when try to access the site, sure we will safe! Bookmark the real link and always use the bookmarked link is what I always do and it looks safer.

Are you really going to use an exchange that has been hacked just a day and a half ago? Came on, just use anyother exchange, there are a lot of them who are accepting shitty coins, just try to do it on coinexchange.com.

I won't go on to it until after the new year because now with the altcoin and bitcoin bloodbath I would be tempted to just dump everything and say bye bye to crypto and look for a regular job so I might just stay away from all exchanges right now including ED and just over the next few days watch all my bags dye and if I survive and don't have a heart attack by 2018, will maybe check out ED again lol.

but if you give your private key to phising site then you need to change your wallet to be safe.

Etherdelta is still under maintenance,developers are doing their best to regain full control to the exchange,lets hope for the better.

they allready fix the problem so its completly save to use it again. just make sure its real ed site cause there still many fake phising site around try to fool people

Yeah. I couldn't agree with you more. That probably is the vest decision. Since i believe that prevention is hetter than cure. Although in this case, when it happens there wouldn't be any cure to help you get back all the money or investments you have lost. Which is why i too am thinking of making the same decision. Since. I am way too paranoid with my hard earned funds. What can i say? Paranoia ain't as bad as losing all your crypto possessions. Ain't that right?

They announce a update with a new UI design, so you can be easy about that. Today I work on etherdelta again - everything is okay.

I am staying away from that exchange until the dust settles. I have a few tokens I would like to withdraw but right now. I'm leaving them on the wallet.

What happened was really scary and I am now more cautious in dealing with EtherDelta. Before this incident, there had been some that said that they lost their tokens in EtherDelta or that the amount they received from the trade is incorrect or their wallets hacked after using the site. My reaction to it was maybe they got to a phishing site or they accidentally shared their credentials. But with this incident, it's safe to be very cautious and make use of other exchanges.

I just got an email, even in spam missed. I open the link in a virtual machine and the external sites are no different.

Etherdelta is now more safe than before. Developers were trying to fix the issue as soon as they can and they already patch the vulnerabilities and developing the more secure.
