Title: MyEtherWallet.com - ETH moved to another address! Am I hacked???
Post by: StopFollowingMe on December 22, 2017, 04:24:41 PM
I transferred some ETH to a new wallet created using myetherwallet.com.
Viewed the wallet by uploading keyfile and entering password to unlock it.
0 ETH balance :(

https://etherscan.io/address/0x763f4d373c1f50ab1f4157c48dbdd68e63af84fd

Checking the address on ethercan it shows the ETH was moved to another address I dont recognize about 4 mins after it was received.

I feel like I got malware on this PC now.  But while I wait around for all the scans to finish am I missing something obvious thats happened here?

To avoid getting phished again, bookmark the real website https://www.myetherwallet.com/ in your browser. I also suggest you to install EAL (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/etheraddresslookup/pdknmigbbbhmllnmgdfalmedcmcefdfn) or Metamask (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/metamask/nkbihfbeogaeaoehlefnkodbefgpgknn), both are blocking malicious URLs. And of course, always check the URL no matter what.

Now Google gives not the real myetherwallet, there at the end two letters tt therefore it is necessary to watch attentively the address, it is necessary to add the address to favorites, so you will precisely know that it is the real website

Are you sure you log into myetherwallet site correctly?
Is there anyone else who knows your private key?
Have you ever shared your private key by mistake?
