Title: ($250)Unable to Restore Electrum Multisig Wallet containing BCH in Electron Cash Post by: sammybranmuffins on December 22, 2017, 06:49:40 PM I was stupid enough to use ShapeShift to convert BTC into BCH. I created the wallet in Electrum and enabled Multifactor. I have the original seed and password for the wallet. I can see the BCH on the block in the wallet address, however it does not show in Electrum. If I try to restore the wallet in Electron Cash using the seed, it crashes the program. If i try to create a new wallet using the private key, it fails. If I try to sweep the private key into a standard wallet, it also fails.
Is there any other method to access the BCH using the seed or private key? Or have I locked myself out of nearly $5k USD? AM WILLING TO PAY A FINDERS FEE FOR ANYONE THAT CAN HELP ME ($250) |
