I am not saying that reaching those rates is not a possibility, but i am curious about it, because a billionaire said that bitcoin is going to reach $100k, does it means that it will really happen?


I know that you might be excited about the price and so on.. but there isn't any necessity to post this FOMO in here, i know that you all love bitcoin, and i do so.

But this is exceding it, this is the maximus fomo that i have ever seen, and "The Answer will Amaze you" Came on, this just made my ass laugh by itself.

do you understand that if you sell now, and buy back at around $2k - 1k, how much you will make?

although I don't know how much higher bitcoin price, I will still hold my bitcoin for a long time and I don't want to sell all of my bitcoin at just one higher price. I still wait until now another higher price and maybe next year will be another higher price for bitcoin. people can say everything about bitcoin but for me, I still wait and hold. I think this is the important key that we should know if we want to take a big profit in the long term.

The part where you talk about not being impulsive also applies to buying as well, do not buy at any time just because you want to get bitcoin, you need to find the right time to buy if you do not then it may take you a lot of time to profit from your investment.

Yes buying and holding till 2020 is fine but to be honest im not sure buying at this point is a smart choice.

Buying at this very moment is very risky maybe there is a second correction. The most asked is until what price it will reach its dip. So if you have btc the best also is to hold for a while maybe there is a good news to be up this january2018.

they were also saying bitcoin is going to be $10k in less than a year back in 2013 and also they were saying bitcoin will fall down to $200 in first 4 months of 2017 and neither of these were true.
you see, it really doesn't matter what the others say, no matter who they are, if you buy only because some people said it will be $100,000 then you are making the same mistake as if you sell because some other people said it will be $10.

you should only buy and hold or whatever if you can analyze bitcoin and come up with that conclusion. same with when selling it.

No one really knows. It won't go there by itself. If you want bitcoin to succeed, contribute to it. Educate your family, friends and neighbors. Help test out the testnet for new features etc.

Well, you people are reassured, and why until 20, not 25, for example, where such information and what price will be. Then they say that it will soon disappear completely and you already know everything in advance. While I will stick to my opinion, and then we'll see how it will be.

I love the positivity in this thread. The massive growth people are hoping for through the sources shared is actually really big that it can be unbelievable for now because we are currently experiencing a correction that might take awhile due to the season. These growths may be possible but wouldn't be it too soon to tell? Bitcoin volatility can be so hard to track and predict. Stating that it could reach that value at this time can be uncertain, but we are all hopeful as this would benefit us greatly.

You've got the point on 2020 maybe the price will go on $70k dollars its not impossible. Its good to buy more bitcoin now. You can base it this past few months bitcoin price grow and grow. But no one knows what would happen next year.

I think you should have to understand the State of the movement of the bitcoin if in this movement were declining bitcoin is one way to buy some of the bitcoin and held him certainly benefit greatly if you can withstand until the year 2020 or later future, chances are you'll get a big advantage with the patient
 

Not just holding but spend it if you can as bitcoin meant to be an alternative currency, as a medium of payment, so it's not so appropriate just hold it, even though it's hard to spend it directly to the merchants due to limited acceptance of bitcoin and transaction problem like high fee. But there are some countries and some cities which adopt bitcoin payment such as in Japan and Europe.
If there are none of the merchants that accept bitcoin payment nearby, holding bitcoin is inevitable, it's better than trading butcoin for fiat currency or altcoins imo.

Not a risky prediction, and we do not need any proofs to know that bitcoin will have that kind of increases in less than a year, well maybe not, but maybe yes.


That is the same as i think right now, no offense, but selling is just for cowards.
I am holding some bitcoins too, and sometimes i am selling a little bit for buying some stuff for myself.

Then you should stop using it in gambling it just like you were burning your money in the future, if you were holding then you shouldn't touch it. I'm sure the price of Bitcoin at 2020 is way too high and far from what we see the price of now, so stop using it on gambling and start holding it.

Holding is a great strategy if you cannot be in control of your impulses but for those of us who can it is not the best strategy. There is much more profit to be made if you can accurately buy and sell the highs and lows.

I think it's possible.

You should not be thinking anymore in the first place especially BTC. It is the only original cryptocurrency and if ever they solve the problem to the mining fees and scalability it will go skyrocketed leaving all ALTCOINS behind, but just observe from now and hold your coins. Don't cash out if you don't need the fiat.

The 70k$ prediction is a decent one and still undervalued, but we wont achieved that price if we don't solve the problem on the technical side of BTC.


No one can say what will be the price, even billionaires have flaws, but based on pure mathematics, by including the growth of adoption and the population and the number of BTC, 250K$ maybe more in one BTC, I even heard that Goldman recognizes already the BTC potential and this will be big.

70000$ is not the most high prediction which I've ever heard  :D Bitcoin is unpredictable thing and it's fall or raise follow with itself fall or rise of all the market of crypto currencies.
Whatever price "experts" promise my target is to come back at least on 20000$ and to cash out at 40000$, that is going to be that sum which will satisfy all my needs.

I say if you have time, hold for next 5-10 years at least.In next 10 years there will be 3 halving(2020,2024,2028) and it will significantly reduce production of mined BTC.Assume that demand will increase over the years and that BTC will be accepted as a means of payment in most countries,so we can pay direct in BTC instead of conversion in fiat.

If you are experienced trader and and you can keep track of the market,you can trade and make more BTC in that time.There should be many price pumps and the correction that will follow after that.I do not see anything especially in year 2020,except halving-but if you are McAfee fan, then this year you will likely to become a millionaire ;)

As many were really collecting now for that year 2020 and just planning to hld and make long erm investment, will it be by 2020 the decision can be an adjustment until 2024 up to 2028, we can only tell depending on how the governments and FUD will happen but for now we all know that btc is worth to keep until 2020 or more.

i am keeping mine to,actually im holding this since late december,but im confident that this will make recover.bitcoin will reach 30,000$ before the year end.im trusting my coin and my believe is unbreakable

That'll be a great challenge to buy and then HODL bitcoin until 2020 because we don't exactly know in the future because i am pretty sure that some new HODLers today might be shaken in the future and panic sell their bitcoins too. Only those who can survive hodling until 2020 will be victorious.

Trusting Bitcoin isn't something you should be worrying about. It's your mental state that forms the biggest problem and potential obstacle, which applies to basically every person in this market. As long as the market is going up or remains stable for a longer period of time, people will keep their confidence high. However, as soon as the price is tanking hard, in combination with fud concerning governments to "ban" Bitcoin and so forth, everything changes in people's minds, which mostly result in them to sell their coins in panic. Not saying you are one of these people, but those who loudly speak out about their 'confidence' in Bitcoin, are usually those who sell in panic the first....

Well, have faith on bitcoin and make positivity to it. Buy and hold is great but you can set your goal to make your profit grows.
