Title: New to Linux and having trouble building Armory client from source. Post by: _mr_e on July 27, 2013, 04:42:52 PM I have received this error on two different machines now (Mint & Ubtuntu).
I have been following all the steps on this page: https://bitcoinarmory.com/building-armory-from-source/[1] However when I get to the step "Make" it appears to chug along just fine until the very end when receive this error and it stops: g++: error: /usr/lib/libpython2.7.a: No such file or directory make[1]: *** [swig] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/user/BitcoinArmory/cppForSwig' make: *** [all] Error 2 I also noticed that the person who made a comment at the bottom of this page also received the same error but hasn't received a solution: https://gist.github.com/FiloSottile/3646033[2] (I too would like to eventually get this up and running on a Raspberry pi but for now I'm trying to test it out) Thanks for your help.
