Is etherdelta safe again to use now?

As long as you're on the legitimate site of Etherdelta, it's safe to use. The recent hack was a domain hack(redirecting etherdelta.com to another website),
 not etherdelta itself.

So as long as you're on the correct exact website, (https://etherdelta.com):

then it's safe to use.

Now etherdelta is planning to make a series of educational effort and UI/UX changes to make sure users know how to identify phishing attempts in the coming weeks. This could be really helpful to avoid future domain hacks on their site also to avoid phishing sites copying ED on for the traders sake.

This been become issues since then, when the price of btc getting higher before ethereum market got shocked I think so. That's why there are many holders become more panicked because of this kind of issues in etherdelta.

Etherdelta is working fine on my side. Probably the surge of users trying to open their website caused a crash.

ethedelta now I think safe but still I don't open my etherdelta account. many peoples suffered  this attack, my nearest many peoples are losses their lots of money. it's really hurt to me.
I think etherdelta management should be take proper step for avoid this type of attack.

Yeah man looks like Ether Delta is up again, I am lucky I didnt lose any money during the DNS hack. I am sure it's safe because on twitter Ether Delta said it themself that it is back again, but I prefer to wait before deposit my money. Maybe their twitter also got hack so I want to make sure everything is okay at 100%. For now I will keep using big exchange for trading like poloniex, binance, bittrex or hitbtc

EtherDelta is safe to use now as long as you're on the legit site. Some people deposited their coins on Etherdelta that's why they panicked when the ED site hacked.

Yes it is. Be sure to enter the correct etherdelta site.  Have fun trading and put extra cautions when going to sites.

Be careful guys, this exchange is probably one of the most shady ones, if you are going to put money in there, just put as much as you can afford to lose, no one knows if they are safe enough yet.

Just try checking my account seems that the site is doing well its really our responsible to double check as the hacked happen with redirecting to another site so making sure that we are in the right secured site is a must, though ED also needed to do extra effort to help their customer to secured their investment.

The development team did well. I think they overcame the hacker incident and now the eltherdelta is safe.

etherdelta is a decentralized market exchange and can also be called the most secure market than market rare. thank goodness it's all back to normal, but we still need to be careful because any of your negligence will cause you to lose everything because every phishing website will be ready to prey on anyone.

Yes, i still believe that etherdelta is safe to use. But just as caution, don't put all of your funds on exchange to avoid bad thing that could be happened anytime on that exchange. Don't forget to check the url whether it safe or not. if the url start by https:// i'm sure that site is safe, i can't guarantee that site with no https:// at the beggining url is safe.

Dont use etherdelta guys , they have been "hacked" or whatever happened to them, it can happen again if they allow it. Just be aware of this exchange, it is weird as fuck, i will never put a single dollar in there.

Problem is if you want to trade ERC-20 tokens there is no site that lists as many as etherdelta.

I used back Etherdelta since yesterday and i think is safe now, all my token there is safe so i think all problem is already completed. I still believe if Etherdelta still good and safe decentralized exchange.

It's already up according to the twitter from etherdelta, just be careful if you want to use it as we don't know what might happen in the future, double check the site again whether it has the chat box or not. You should consider using hardware wallet or metamask because it has the notification when you are using the fake site.

Yes it is up now but your best bet is to get a cryptocurrency hardware wallet especially for these ethereum smart contract based decentralized exchanges.I traded on it when it was back online but it was quite slower than usual.They intend to increase phishing attempts on their site so that it willbe easier to identify such an attack should it occur again.

I use both hardware and metamask on ED.  But Metamask is really more convenient

You know that this exchange has been recently hacked, and it doesnt make me feel confortable at all.

You all know that if a site is hacked one time, it can be hacked twice, it has been happening since the beggining of everything in everything that concerns about cryptos and exchanges, specially.

If you are going to use it, just put a little amount of money in there, dont risk too much.

etherdelta is safe. Hackers attack in dns server it is not major attack, so I think it is safe to use. You can always follow etherdelta twiiter page for more information.

It's safe right now but you must try to do a flush dns to your computer. But a lot of people are using it right now, since the decentralized exchange and it's just another minor attack from the scammer. We should not need feel worry about that, im using it right now.

Yes they are already up since December 22. Which i would say they are safe to use as of now and as being said by other member on there regarding on the hack it is involved on dns which it do really redirects users into other site. As they made an announcement it would really be a helpful thing specially on newbie users and heres what they wrote on updates:

They are more aware as of now and im glad they would make ui/ux changes.

Etherdelta is safe I just tried to trade in this exchange and it went well. This site is sometimes too often slow and long to respond. But we shoudl be careful in etherdelta just not to lose token because I have heard some are lost their token.

I have never have any problems with etherdelta so I see this site as a trusted decentralized tokens trading platforms. If you did not know how to used etherdelta you should try and watch some of there youtube explanations and you will be good to go.  But because many did not understand how this site works they always accuse etherdelta as a scam site. What you should know is that you are responsible to what happened to your fund on etherdelta and you should understand how this site works before transferring your coins or tokens there for trading.

We extracted what tokens we had yesterday on ED and I do not think for the near future we will be using it right now. We may start again using it after the new year and I will make a completely new wallet for it and not put the old wallets we had so I only then will trade, buy or sell one coin at a time and immediately remove it from there unless I place it there to sell but for now am staying away from it.

yeah we must carrefull in any condition, not only in etherdeltha.
some time you may lost a biggest thing in a small problem, but nothing happend in big problem.

Have checked the site, and yes it is back and safe to use again. You should just make sure you typed the correct URL and make sure, if you are trading, be sure to deposit and withdraw the correct amount to etherdelta.

NO. Don't enter it because chances are you may be redirected again to a phish site. But way is to bookmark the correct site with the https://


I think its not that EtherDelta is hacked, but the hackers have found a way to redirect everything to a phish site that sometimes we took at as hack. But if you have to be on the safe side though, you can move all your tokens out on Etherdelta and put on your own wallet for safekeeping. As of now, there's no better alternative than EtherDelta, unless you go to a trading platform that list all your tokens. But they themselves are not safe as well.

apparentely it's working right, i've traded yesterday and the final eth withdrawal went smooth.
But i don't feel no more confortable using it, i traded on it just because i use metamask so my fund should be safe at all
