Good evening everyone! I have 60$ to test the altcoin market right now(0.082 eth in my metamask secondary account), do you have any suggestions for me for short term ? Better to send the amount on exchange? If yes, what exchange do you recommend ?

I recommend altcoins NXT, I think NXT has potential for short-term and can also long-term  ;)

I would buy some BCH...

The price is too high right now because of the airdrop

I am very bullish on BitShares (BTS).  You can get over 100 of them with that right now, but probably not for long..

For me,
Altcoin for sort term invest is DOGE, XEM, NXT, XLM, XRP.
But, my prediction second week in January 2018 the price will be dumb.

if you have only $ 60 to test it I think it is too small.
do not be afraid of losing friends. there experience will teach you to choose altcoin that can benefit you.

No offense, but you can not do anything with $60.. It is not because i am a bad guy, but you can not do anything with that, let's be realistic.
Just go outside and buy a nice lunch, that is the only thing that you can do with that money.
Dont expect to become millionaire with just $60.

You can choose the iota or xrp these coins are now turns best in the market and even it will be perfect for the amount you wish to invest. If you willing to invest on bitcoin fees itself now turns more than 15 USD and even more.
Now if you want to get the altcoin most of the trading will support btc or eth alone as input initially so you must buy btc or eth. Else you will not be able to invest on altcoins.

No offense, but he's not asking to be a millionaire with it now is he? 60 dollars might be lunch money for you but for a lot of people it is more than that. Let him invest and if he makes a profit, good for him.

with $60 you should get a coin that costs around $1 or less, as with these coins you truly see spectacular gains.  your $60 could easily become $300 in a few months if you make the right pick.   Check out DeepOnion, XSPEC, LINK, SHIFT. Thank me later :)

i think you are not yet late to participate and buy DGB or digibyte in the exchanges, as mcAFee reviewed the token and call iit as an sleeping giant and 5x faster then bitcoin it is a huge leap on the market in just a day.

BitShares, DigiByte and invest in Sether ICO, which supported by McAfee. It`s only MY OPINION, RISKY OPINION, so... take you mind and analyze!

I agree 60 dollars is less.

Two year back if you had the same money in hand you could have bought 60 ETH or 100 LTC> look at value of those coins now. THey are gone so far.

Anyway to buy alt coins you need to start buying ETH or LTC. Just begin the journey and you will figure it out.

People in here will tell you that this amount is low. But don't listen to them, I think their min. capital to invest is 1000$.
I can suggest you to look at blockcat and stratis, really good projects.

This is too small a sum to invest, but you can try to pick up prospective tokens to make a profit. I would invest in XRP and LTC.   

I recommend you to invest your time into bounty and give your support to some projects. You will get more than 60 USD.

That's a good advice. Bitcoin cash does this big sudden pumps from time to time and is now actually down, so we might expect a growth up to $3k soon. This would give a 20% profit, which is not bad for the beginning, but that's just $12 if we consider the initial investment.
OP, if you are willing to invest only 60 dollars, I think it's better to go for a long-term investment, because you're likely (if you use bitcoin) to lose more on transactions than you can gain otherwise. Just choose a good coin which you like, buy it and wait for some months to get at least a 2x profit. Good luck!

Go for TRX, now the price is going crazy but to be honest, 60$ is small money if you want to start investing. But no problem. Just try your best

Don't listen to people who say $60 is not enough money to make a meaningful investment. Altcoins go crazy from time to time, so sudden increases like +100% within a day are to be expected. You can increase your money very quickly that way. It's just a matter of patience and making the right decisions at the right time.

There is no small money when you are investing. Especially if you are investing alt coins. If you check coinmarketcap top gainers section, you will see that there are a lot of coins that multiplies very fast. So this 60 bucks can be 600 bucks in very short time with a right coin. I could go for Dent, check it out.
