I have invested in some of top 10 alts (except dash and BCH) and wondering if it is a good time to buy Monero?!
Your knowledge sharing is appreciated.

Equal to trading many of the people invest on mining and make money by mining monero. So this coin will rock in next year as well you will find the monero will be 3rd coin after ethereum.
If you want to invest on monero you need to fund big amount in that coin. You check well according to your fund ability and do that.

Agreed monero is a good choice to invest in,you just wait for it dips if you missed yesterday's bloodbath.

Yes I missed yesterday'd chance and maybe I should wait unless it goes really high and when another crash happens it only drops to above where it is now.

I like Monero, too. 2018 may be the year for some privacy coins like Monero or Stratis with upcoming regulations from governments.

When to buy Monero: Nobody can tell you that. A correction or a new all time high might be around the corner, but nobody knows (or will tell you in a forum such as this)

There is always good time to buy Monero.  Right now we are waiting or new wallets with latest updates that are already developed. Most important feature of last upgrade is multisig. Something that is very important for exchanges or merchants and specially decentralized markets.   There will be ofcourse a lot of other features as always are. Monero is after Bitcoin and Ethereum most developed coin.

After that 2018 will be super rich with new things in Monero with several Hardware wallets support and drastic reduce of transaction fees and transactions sizes with implementation of Bulletproofs.

Very overvalued right now, the best time to buy this coin was just a month ago when the price was less than a hundred dollars, now it is going toward $400, i dont know what to do, but it feels tempting after all.

yesterday all coins crashed. but we missed this opportunity. those who made the right decisions earned good money in two days.

I bought in last night - today still looks good and I might buy more if I had the funds - I usually buy high supply low priced coins but monero caught my eye and it is one of the hodlable coins as it works its way toward the thousands $ value.


And that is why I bought in on its way back up.

All is not lost. Notice how quickly recovered all of alts. I think next week we will see something similar. Most importantly, do not be greedy and to have time to fix the profit before the coins will subside.

And I think that it's too late to go to Monero. It was necessary to enter earlier. The coin is certainly still good to grow, but alas x100 it will hardly do. You need to enter into new promising projects. Do not think reklama, but here I have in the signature of one of these promising projects. Today? No. Yesterday(22/12/2017-the date when the market crashed), yes. But is it too late to buy XMR? Depends on what you're planning to do with it. If you're buying it for a longer term, well good news for you, you can still buy it, store it in your hardware wallet. But if you're looking for a short term trade, then you can be faced with a possible sequence of circumstances which is too risky at the moment. Since it's XMR, I'd seriously like to suggest you to hold it for a long term, it'd be worth the time and the money. Cause you know how popular XMR is and how lit it's features are.

Try BCH, I think is really better than just buying monero.

Why do not you look at Monero's technical analysis?  In it, everything is clearly described: at the moment it's better to sell, and for the long term to buy intensively!

Monero has very secure privacy and this make different Monero from others and in 2018 i can say that Monero will be in the top of his carear lol, u can invest without doubt to Monero.

Price of Monero now its not enough for this coin, this coin need to be in first five coins, and I am sure this coin will have very big increasin in 2018 maybe it ll be after Ethereum 3rd.

Just like another guy said, monero has already increased by a lot of money during the last few weeks, i would not put more money in there.

I have some moneros and i do not want to keep investing because i am already confortable with the money that i have already invested.

But pay attention to this, it increased from $3 to $470 in just a year, do you think that it is normal? of course not, i dont think that it will keep going up just like everybody is saying.

When prices go up a lot, you have to think about your cost much more than others, so my point is to look for the potential ICO projects and not get a big jump.

It's a good time to buy your favorite tokens because it's still in a bull market, and if you don't buy it, you'll probably miss the whole bull market.

I think if the investment in monero is very difficult to find big profits, because the capital to buy it is very large (expensive) so it is better to buy coins that are still cheap price in order to get big profits, such as TRX

no it isnt good time to buy monero becaouse it still in bull market.you can buy other alt OITA,LITECOIN,and RIPPLE they would give you more benefits now then morero. and other then else your fevorit

Yes value of monero is too expensive that is why this is good for long term holding and not for trading, also you can only buy the amount you can afford. Monero is one of the good coin in the crypto it has a good progress like other coin in the top of crypto market.

Monero is a good coin, it's 11th in marketcap and as you know it raised more than 100 times in last year, it's a very promising coin because of its completely untraceable blockchain. Yes investing might be a good idea.

Agreed, especially with the bolded part. It doesn't even have to be about government regulations, though that's certainly an important piece of the puzzle. Some of us just like our privacy and detest the idea of anyone, government or not, knowing how much we have and where we spend it.

I think that a portfolio of privacy-centric coins will do very well indeed over the next 1-2 years.

XMR coin is best coin with feature can not track who sent to you money and no one can track your payment! You can invest and hold this coin for long times! I think you can get more profit!

Well it is always a good time to buy monero if you ask me. Monero will be over dash at some point that's just a matter of time. Monero is still one of my best coins that I have ever owned and I will be back to it gladly but I'm kinda like to wait a little more.

For the privacy, it's the best known coin of the World. I use it as well. But the price started fluctuations after Assian market expansion and the price becamse unpredictable for us. I don't like it.

Today is probobly a good time, or if you are very confident, you can wait a litle longer, it's a high possibility that will go even lower...

But if I'am correct it'll be hard for monero to go lower because when coinbase accepts monero, monero will go in the sky

I really like Monero due to its privacy and good community. The first time when I purchased that coin was the beginning of this year and then step by step consistently increase the position in XMR. Going to follow the same strategy as still see significant potential!

Now Monero is one of the most promising coins. If the coin founders will also strongly promote their project in a proper way it would become TOP-5 soon for sure.

I think all the good time to buy altcoin monero depending on the willingness of the funds that we have. but from that I know to buy monero we require a lot of capital just to 1 just because the price is so expensive monero monero and I don't recommend you to choose a long term investment in monero because it will only get benefits that are not too large and not good to be traded, you better switch to other altcoin such as litecoin or more.
 

Let me tell you that you are planning to invest in top 10 altcoins and you have left one out of them which is Dash. Even dash is a good one to invest for long-term and trading for short term.Next coming to the main question about the Monero, and if you believe me technical wise Monero right now is standing on Good demand zone where you can start buying in small quantity and once it confirms the uptrend by breaking the 380-400 price barrier again then you can add some more quantity to it. By this way, you reduce your risk also and you are averaging your cost of buying too, which is really a good trading approach and it is highly profitable for the Long run.

I do not think Monero will be able to improve your standard of living. But still, if you suddenly bought it, then I would not mind seeing statistics about how you are lucky!

After saw this thread i bought some equal to 0.2 btc and will wait for a rise. if not rise i will more up to 1 btc and hodl for all my life.

Monero will be one of the best altcoins in 2018, it is very neccesary for payment method and for privacy, also last month 50 singers start to accept payment with Monero.

The possibility of Monero (XMR) surpassing $ 500 is gigantic, it is the currency that has been waiting for growth for a long time, your appreciation is welcome, but in my opinion if you have a large amount to invest, 25% is enough, the rest invest in other altcoins to get bigger profits.

Monero is very good coin for private transaction. I think it is always smart to buy Monero when the price is low because Monero is very solid anonymous coin with fair mining and great community. Monero is more anonymous than Dash, as you can see people in Darkweb use monero for transaction. In 2018, Monero will have some features updates that will make Monero more private by hiding your IP.

Its now out of bearish channel so its a good time to buy monero.
But DASH has a better potential for now. Dash is in very powerfull bullish trend channel.
