Title: Altcoin mining profitabilty in Germany
Post by: Cronion on December 23, 2017, 10:49:45 PM
Hey guys!

I've been investing in altcoins a couple of weeks now and tried to check out the possibilty to mine some myself. As i work in a big architectural office, i can get a hand on some 1year-old well-powered machines for a couple of € with a lot of gpu power!

Most of all its the power consumption that takes the proft, i know - but it must be some kind of advantage to have those machines almost free? The graphic cards are not the gaming type of course, but still - rendering is similar to mining i figure.

Maybe some experiences from Altcoin miners from Western Europe / Germany?

Thanks!

Profitability depends on the amount of the coin mined*price of the coin mined - the price of the electricity used. That is basically all you need to know for your profit :)
