Hi Guys
From one week ago, i saw the marketcap is decrease..So i would like to know your opinion that you are still trading or investing BTC in this time (Christmas time, new year time)...or you will withdraw BTC to usd and come back in Jan 2018.

Yes, Bitcoin and Altcoin had gone red because I think many people are cashing out because of the holiday season. For me this is the best time to buy BTC if you truly believe that it will always go upwards. Do not sell your BTC rather hold it and keep an eye of the value.

Well you know its the best time to invest the value of bitcoins have decreased a lot as compared to before and right now the value is slowly recovering thus if you wait any longer than this to invest the chances are that you would have to pay more for the same amount of bitcoins thus, instead of thinking if the value decreased further in 2018, invest right now if you are serious about investing.

This is actually good opportunity for people like us who thinking of investing at the dip prices of bitcoin. It can be seen from the market that people have already started to cash out the money which was already locked out into BTC form. As I'm not much bound with Christmas and BTC cash out thing, I would actually just go ahead and make more investment into it. This investment would be ideal because its straightforward thing that after the Christmas and the New Year has arrived most of the people get back into it (me too) and thus the market cap will start rising again beyond 20K+. We can make hell of a profit from this trade.

I agree. People sold BTC and got profits for the holidays. This is a good opportunity to invest in crypto.

Bitcoin's price has been skyrocketing almost non stop, starting from $5K to $20K. Now, since the Xmas and New Year sessions are near - many people cashing out their Bitcoin and buy something they want.

In the meantime, it's the right moment to jump into the "Bitcoin bandwagon" again, as it might starts to accelerate again, after the end of this price correction.

These days they sell so much bitcoin so the price will fall, this is the chance to buy bitcoin  ;)

in my case i still trading my alts and  i keep on buying bitcoins because i see that btc has gone from another crash therfor it is now perfect time for us small investors to purchase bitcoins in a good deal. however there were also  peeps that keeps on withdrawing their coins because  they need money to prepare on christmas and new year , these was also the main reason why bitcoin has drop dramatically but its ok because it was already expwcted to happen due to the fact that december was an important month to celebrate with but for sure bitcoin will have a good comback on the year 2018.

I think even if bitcoin falls back to $5000, people will still be asking for the right entry point to buy some bitcoin. I am not cashing out of bitcoin because it is christmas or any other festive season instead I will buy more of it if I had spare cash, seeing that the price has come down.

I'll be honest, I had a hunch that there was going to be some trouble with the market about four hours before it started its slide down the exchange graphs, so I've gone and sold mine and I'm waiting to see where the market is finally going to stop going down since it keeps going up to ~$15k and then down to as low as $13.9k. Not exactly a good situation to have any sort of exposed positions for, but for HODLers they're probably having a field day watching the market and trying to see where the entire market is going to end up trending.

Not an especially good time for altcoin holders either.

I think since it has dropped, holders needs to exercise some patience and buyers needs to buy now because by January it will continue the trend again.

You are right. If you have savings, it is an excellent moment to buy BTC and other promising coins that have dropped as well.

For me it is the best time to buy rather than to sell due to the low market cap. Even the trading volume decreases, this shows that there are few investors that are pouring in their money. On the other hand, there are so many people that are cashing out bitcoins to spend during this season that resulted in low price point. It could be more advantageous to buy at low price if you did not need so much money and you have extra cash to spend this holiday.  

I mean it'll be volatile, so that's good if you know what you're doing. If not, I'd just place some small limit orders and call it a day. Depends on the amounts you'd be putting into and your experience

For me, i will not get effect because of christmas and new year.
I will always trade whenever i have time. Now i still hold some coins in exchanger.

I see that a lot of people are worrying about the decrease in the bitcoin price. Today is another bloodbath so it's the right time to invest on bitcoin and coins with great potential. It's on sale! Buy low, sell high. Sell low, buy lower. :D Don't be fazed by those red marks, it's a healthy correction.

Bitcoin will continue to rise to $30,000 + by mid 2018. So buy now while it’s low. This is only the beginning. 3-4 years from now bitcoin will have a valuation of 700,000 to $800,000 per bitcoin. So the fact that people are concerned about the price fluctuation now is funny. You haven’t seen nothing yet.

I think it is a good tjme to buy. I expect bitcoin to fully recover from this dip and continue to break aths by January.

But after that it will be used again at a higher speed or faster. Now the price is somewhat less, but after that the price of Bitcoin will drop 20K. I think a lot of people might have dipped into their Bitcoin hoard to buy Xmas gifts and decorations. I took some profits for that, when the price hit $18 000 but I bought back some of that, when the price took a dip.

If this was the trend, then we might see a major correction in January 2018. I hope a lot of people are putting some savings away for the big buy back. ^smile^

I also see that bitcoin price is falling, the reason is people are using their money and withdraw the bitcoin into money and use their money for celebrating the  Christmas and New Year Time, that's why bitcoin price is falling down. The last year i also seen it the Christmas Time and New Year Time bitcoin price fallen down, So same situation is happened once again.

It may be a good idea though. Well, in my opinion it is a good idea why? Analyzing the bitcoin value movement, it falls during christmas season because of massive withdrawals by investors or a bitcoiner it might go the same thing when new years eve comes because of too many stocks in the market massive sales and some sales goes to up to 75% off sounds encouraging right and the very common reason why people withdraw is the essence of exchange gifts. This may be a good reason and time to invest money to bitcoin because when it regains its value during regular season it may guaranteed to double up or suprisingly to triple up.

I think everyone will have different interests. especially now it will be ahead of Christmas and New Year. there are many who exchange it on local money. remain calm and always monitor market movements, and if bitcoin decreases more deeply. its time to buy it.

if I have a time to trading, I will continue to trade and I will invest more money in bitcoin. there is no holiday for me unless I decide to take a holiday. but I do not forget to withdraw every time I make a profit because I can use the money for another thing like buying food. and if I can make a big profit before the end of this year, then I will make sure that in the night of the end of the year, I will celebrate it with my family and my friends.

May be that may be the reason for bringing back in buyers more and more. I also see many buyers will start coming back after all the holidays and the volumes will also start rising gradually. If i i had funds , definitely i would have entered the market in the present scenario and made some profits if the coin went up. But i m advising my friend and colleagues to do the same and earn some extra money for the funds lying idle.

I think the price of bitcoin is starting to recover again after the lowest value it has reach last week I check the price today and it seems it will move upward again so if you are planning to invest better start now I think bitcoin will be back to its highest bid before the closing of this year. There is an expected hard fork on the 28th of December and that maybe a sign of pumping moments again for bitcoin. I'm glad I still hold my coins and did not sell them when the value is dropping

I think people are cash out money by selling their btc and other coin that's why market are going low. Becausrme people are going to celebrate their holiday time with this cash. I think it is great time to buy some btc . so that after holidays can get high profit of it

I agree. If you don't need additional money to what you already have don't sell your BTC at Christmas and New Year Time, but rather use this great opportunity to buy low. Unfortunately I can't follow my own rules because I need some cash and that's why I sold a bit recently unwillingly contributing to today's falling, but if you don't need fiat money don't sell now.

I just invest in BTC with just a little amount of what's left of my savings and from the money I bought Christmas gifts for my family too. I've given it a much deeper thought and decided to invest in BTC for the whole year again.

Me and my friends have withdrawed some of the bitcoin's we are holding because of the sudden reds on the graphs of crypto currencies, we've panicked thinking that the bitcoin has popped.

Investing is saving your money for a long time. You not need to find the reason when good time to buy it.
When you have sure about to invest it while supported Bitcoin price is more cheap now, then quickly take the decision. It's not about Christmas or New Year that makes Bitcoin low price, but because supply is high available some markets and demand is low.

Guys, its funny how the people react to a partial decrease on bitcoin that they withdraw their bitcoin without knowing that it could lessen the price they panic whenever sees an diminished value. I see how people they make standards, when bitcoin reached the $22k value they made it as a standard value and obviously if it decreases 20% they almost give up.

Christmas is a great time to invest in Bitcoin. People are cashing out because they need money to pay for presents or things that are needed for Christmas! If I only had some spare money, I would use to buy Bitcoin. Bitcoin will probably recover in the next 2 weeks. The same thing happened in September, didn't it? You can check the price of Bitcoin in the past years. In December 2013 we had exactly the same situation and everything went good. I don't understand why there is so much FUD. Is it because of high fees?

Lots of people will cash-out because of the holidays. People will buy things that they won't need and of course they will do so without reserve as it is the time of prosperity. With that, I too believe that it is a good time to accumulate bitcoin. Even now, the price is bouncing back so just hodl.

Usually during the festive season we used to see a correction and in my opinion I used to purchase the coins during those times to have some fun gambling and the trend still continues as we saw a good correction after all these rally. Get the coins during these correction and have fun holding it .

The best way to buy bitcoin is when it is on red or during dumped. Take the opportunity to buy while the value is very low. You won't see it again going low if it's pumped again.

For me Bitcoin is sleep dragon. Bitcoin si just starting to boom and people want to go in to invest. If you have doubt you can invest to altcoin

I do not know, the situation on the crypto currency market is too unstable, maybe the fall is connected with the upcoming holidays. It seems to me that it is worth investing part of the savings in the BTC, and part of withdrawing to the USD. I think it will be right.

 
It is good to invest in bitcoin now. It decrease its price in 10k$ from 17k$. You can easily get profit for just investing in bitcoin. People wants to stay in line with the bitcoin to have an updates about bitcoin. I belong to them that having a hig expectation on bitcoin.

lol haha, what the heck dude? bitcoin has just experienced a correction and no, it has not popped yet. we know and we can actually tell if bitcoin has popped because its value will be dropped to zero automatically or it will just disapeard completely without a trace, that is the diffenition of a real bubble. yet it is still the best time to invest in bitcoin because bitcoin is still going for a hard dip and many users are still expected to sell off their coins because of the holiday season.

I think investing in Bitcoin is not only when the price is low or during this Christmas period. Now, is there any right time to invest in the markets? The answer is ‘No’. What question you are asking is too late as market have cashed out for christmas and new year expenses and now they have left for vacation they will be back in Jan 2018 that time it will move till then if you have not joined bitcoin then you can start buying in every low as it will be the next bottom for next up movement in bitcoin

Actually it is not the market cap that decreased, it is the market value. Investing during this season is actually an advantage. Transactions are high which makes the demand and value of Bitcoin low. But the thing that matter is its market value will again, increase. And those who will invest now will surely earn hugebprofit when that time come and that is expected early first week of 2018.

Yeah i think investing in bitcoin would be a good idea currently as the price has dropped. I think alot of people were cashing out their bitcoin/ investing in some other coin which resulted in price of bitcoin to drop. As bitcoin's price is mostly going to rise again, investing in it now might result in getting alot of profit. So I think you should go on and invest now.

we saw a break out past the previous record high price. If you buy during the dip <which is now> then you would make some

You are right on the price being very seductive right now. After seeing $20k recently $14k looks like a dream.
