Title: Does arbitrage sounds like a good opportunity?
Post by: uniqueuser on December 24, 2017, 03:11:38 PM
I have seen that different exchange markets have different buy and sell %.  Would a day trading bring some profit? Let's say bitstamp sells for less whereas gdax offers more expensive. Would this work to buy cheap and sell more at another exchange?

Regards

Arbitrage is usually carried out strategy trading, writing a certain trading strategy, into a code, through the robot 24 hours a day between the various exchanges.

I think for arbitrage opportunities the trader has to be very vigilant, also you should be expert at knowing the transfer/withdrawal fee from exchnage to exchange,  i have seen some big projects like Rialto doing arbitrage trading successfully.

Right now it sounde like price of  the coin may drop while you will wait for the confirmations so you won't get any profit and even loose your money.  At the better times arbitrage seems fine but I'm sure there must be some difficulties (maybe with AML limits or anything else).

Sounds like a good opportunity but the fact that was so difficult to did it. There are so many people are trying to do that but it seems just like the system of every exchange sites are preventing for doing it.
Just like suspend the deposit and withdrawals and another especially about the market movement.

Came on, why are you saying that shit? Do you even know what arbitrage means?

I will resume in here what wikipedia says.

Quote
Arbitrage is buying expensive and selling cheap on another place

If you do not even know of what you are talking about, THEN AVOID POSTING ABOUT THAT.

Arbitrage sounds like a good move, but there are risk you should know doing this would give you more risk of losing than gaining.

It seems a easy way of earning money but it doesn't work flawlessly when you attempt to do this. You need a giant capital, you need giant amount of cryptos that you want to make arbitrage etc.

It's very hard honestly.

Arbitration is a very lucrative and risk-free strategy. You can find many trading bots that work on this principle.
It's just necessary to take into account the difficulties with moving money between crypto-exchanges.

This is only applicable if the transaction speed of the coin you are holding is fast,if isnt better not to or you will get rekt hard.
