Title: Transferring coins from BTC to BCH Post by: alikim on December 24, 2017, 07:52:16 PM As far as I understand BCH uses the same address space as BTC but different transaction format, so I can spend any pre-fork BTC tx output using BCH client and it will go into BCH blockchain and essentially register as BCH.
What I don't get is if BTC network will know I spent that output into BCH? If BTC doesn't read/recognize BCH transactions, will I still be able to spend that output in BTC network? I exchanged my Bitcoin to Litecoin as for the moment Litecoin has the cheapest fees , only 0.58 dollars for a 112 dollars transaction. You can exchange to any other coin you like, even Bitcoin Cash or Ethereum. You only have to know what you are doing.
