Does that mean this rack from target could hold 3 of them

I would want a taller rack. I added some feet and a piece of wood on each side to give some height under mobo to hide the wires. I will post photos left side with psu you can see spotswood's black fee included. I put rubber cups for height then a piece of 1.5 by 1.5 wood https://i.imgur.com/K5sNn7V.jpg right side with msi seahawk https://i.imgur.com/w8ANwEl.jpg The underbelly at the moment 4 pcie cables go under as does the cpu cable and the 6 molex+sata cables https://i.imgur.com/mBLCDU8.jpg Title: Re: Spotswood case 8 card build = nice Post by: TheYankeesWin! on December 25, 2017, 04:11:05 AM Okay nice with the wires.. this rack should do 4 easy and it is on wheels

The rubber feet would protect the rig from vibration if you wheel the big rack around. 28 inch wide it would fit https://i.imgur.com/u0mlkjK.jpg put this fan on the psu it has 4 rubber feet it pulls air away from the psu which uses a heatsink and is warm to the touch this does cool the psu a bit. velcro keeps it in place https://i.imgur.com/lLZMw71.jpg https://i.imgur.com/vJSt6Xx.jpg https://i.imgur.com/4upm5hg.jpg I extended pcie cables to the far end 1080 ti the cable runs under the mobo. https://i.imgur.com/cNelm18.jpg Title: Re: Spotswood case 8 card build = nice Post by: Eyedol-X on December 25, 2017, 04:46:26 AM Damn I totally missed this board had the extra 1x PCIE ports giving a total of 12
What I like about this rig setup most is it will accommodate water cooled GPU's.... I wonder if he has other designs that would offer a similar configuration, it appears it just needs an additional fan/GPU tier above where they mount Title: Re: Spotswood case 8 card build = nice Post by: philipma1957 on December 25, 2017, 05:04:45 AM Damn I totally missed this board had the extra 1x PCIE ports giving a total of 12 What I like about this rig setup most is it will accommodate water cooled GPU's.... This is pretty much the nicest rig I have built. I could do 5 1080 tis 2 1070 tis 1 1050 ti no cables Using the six pcie cables It would do 4400 or 4500 sols with lite clocks on the 1080 tis 5x 165 = 825 2x105 = 210 1x60. = 60 1095 which would be maybe 1300 on the kwatt Title: Re: Spotswood case 8 card build = nice Post by: Docta on December 25, 2017, 05:51:24 AM wow....holy cow!
thanks for the share....my wheels are definitely spinning Title: Re: Spotswood case 8 card build = nice Post by: VyprBTC on December 25, 2017, 06:29:17 AM You did an amazing job there Phil!
I have 5 of those boards coming - well the ones with 8 + 4 slots, so thinking I'm going to do 7 hybrids each on the board and 5 cards on risers. The 5 on risers I still have to figure out how those will be mounted but your pics are definitely giving me some ideas before the boards arrive so thanks again can't wait.
