Should I buy some ripple coins now? Is it worth it?

I heard it was pre-mined and it is not decentralized... it's a bad thing right?

i would suggest to buy ripple as of now, because it is still cheap and affordable, lets remember that ripple was on the market few years ago and its still on the top 10 on the coinmarketcap.

Stay away from ripple, I lost a lot of money with ripple. I think now not a best time to invest in altcoin at all. I'll wait till the price will fall more then now, and I'll buy some after that.

i think you can buy ripple for long term because they have bright future maybe in the next year ripple will growing up again.

I would definitely invest in Ripple. If you search on the currency and the protocol you can read there are many banks worldwide evaluating the protocol for international payments in pilot scale right now.

Buying Ripple coin is still worthy. It is very good coin presentally it is at some high price but even worthy.

Ripple is bad if you buy coins based on their ideology and support Austrian school of economics with all this free market and decentralization stuff. If you don't really care much about it and want to earn money - ripple's very promising. Ripple works with banks, so that they don't die as cryptocurrencies become more influential, and it's good at what it does, so it is very likely to grow with time. The current price is obviously still very cheap, I am sure it can be worth about $10 in a year from now.

Definitely would invest in Ripple, since its at 1.05 right now, and i believe that by the first quarter of the 2018.

All of this has been said over and over to this coin but until now it's popularity has not diminished in fact they grow and adoption is very rapid many old holders are now in a profit so you can buy more because this coin popularity keeps growing.

Guess it depends on the person. Some will never buy in as they are only interested in decentralization and the anti-establishment philosophy. Others will buy in as they are more interested in the investment side of things. Many are betwixt the two.

I think holding XRP for a long term investment will be a good plan I think XRP will be huge in 2018 but if your plan is holding it till 2020 it could give you 20x of profit.

Ripple is one of those altcoins that gets pumped so often and it always has at least 4 or 5 major pumps each year. of course sometimes they last very short but they are always very profitable because Ripple has a very small value and that helps with the pump-ability of it since it is always easier to pump cheaper altcoins than it is to pump bigger ones. not to mention that Ripple is centralized and heavily manipulated which helps a lot with the pumps.

if i were you, i would invest only during the pumps and never a buy and hold strategy because i like my bitcoins actively in trading not sleep in some altcoin that may take a long time to back up.

No matter its premined or not decentralized, i still see Ripple's potential to have its full swing starting by Jan next year. As we can see on the graph, Ripple has the fourth largest market cap in the crypto and its price is still cheap so you can buy it in volume because it is still at a lower price. :)

I do not recommend Ripple. Its backed up by a company building alliances with corporations and banks.
They are going to pocket all the profit themselves and do not have a value for community.

I do think xrp is a good for buying but it is good for utilization, you wouldn't have to worry about losing some because of volatility. If you are to send money I suggest use currencies like xrp. Minimal loss if the price went down compared to btc or eth.

Yes you can buy it, it overtook ethereum and currently the king of Alts. Which means it has proven it has all capabilities to grow further in the market. As a centralised coin it has shown some good signs to the investors and most of the investors are willing to invest in ripple.

I will not believe for some people says that Ripple coin is dead because this coin is really competing to Ethereum. this year the number two rank next to Ethereum. Ripple coin has the potential to rise in the crypto market.

You are right, ripple is a centralised coin and the supply is not fixed. That mean the developer team can increase supply anytime which in turn affect ripple price.

Ripple is going to be bullish in 2019 because of new contracts between big companies and some new banks , I have heard some of them are testing ripple mainnet so that they can find out if they can use it as a way of transaction or not .

Yes. I have been buying and selling Ripple the whole 2018 and it generated some income on my end. It actually helped me recover from my bad decision on other alternate coins. A lot of people were doubting Ripple and look what happened to them, they missed the price pump twice. I am just glad that I am heavily invested on Ripple than any other coin. For now, I transitioned to Ethereum because of the super low price. I hodl some Ripple just for a back up plan.

Although ripple price went all the way high to 3$, I still see the current price to be a normal price of a coin like ripple. It has suffered the bear market but not to the extent some other coins have suffered. It wouldn't be bad to have more ripple at this low price.

Ripple is pre-mined coin and founder hold more than 30% total supply. But ripple have big community and ripple higest price at $3.28. Maybe its good time for buying ripple but i never interesting for buying ripple because in my perspective ripple is centralized cryptocurrency and founder can control the price because hold big amount of coin

the most important factor in altcoin market is timing. which means you only enter a coin when the time is right and the pump is coming. otherwise you will be definitely losing a lot of your money that you put in that shitcoin.

I have bought this coin when it was 2.5$ I thought it would continue to  increase its value but opposite thing happen it continue to decline until to its current price I keep buying everytime it fall to lower my buying average and try to sell some when ever it bounce back. So far more and more banking and payment merchants are getting interest with this coin. I'm still hoping it could go back to its all time high soon.

Xrp is always in number 2 or 3 in coinmarketcap since this coin first tradeable, and when i look in to the historycal price since start tradeable the current price already going up 60 times. This project has working product and partnership with alot of big company so in the long term the price has potential to raise above top price. Xrp has potential to raise to $5 in 1 years.

I think ripple is a good coins, what prove it is what happen in the past days, it could reach a rather high price. I've seen many people has some fortune form it. So the condition could be repeated started from the current price.

Ripple is one of the good coins I saw in the market although many people don't see this. They still underestimate these coins and say that ripple cannot increase higher in the future. But for me, as long as I can take the profit from Ripple, I will buy more Ripple and wait for the price to increase. It really depends on your instincts. Not all tokens are perfect, even Ripple. The market is so unpredictable these days, but the crypto massive adoption never stops. Like Bitcoin and Ethereum, Ripple is also making its move to undergo massive adoption.

There has been alot of controversies roaming around ripple concerning its listing on coinbase has pulled up alot of questioning. Some now say ripple is a scam, and also with the interview on one of the ripple team member,  I suggest you wait till its all calm

Currently the price of XRP just sideaway while others coin raising, but when the price uptrend XRP will be going up and rally in short times with big gainer, just like in the end of 2017 the price been rally more than 10x just less than amonth
So the idea to make profit from XRP now is just hold it for long term trading until the price rally 10x, because XRP big potential to pump 10x again because the fundamental is strong.

I would not suggest to put money into ripple as I have lost always when I put into Ripple. I think it already reached its all time high nearing $3, which I think will never such high until and only when BTC recovers and will be above $25000 mark.

It is a long term bet as this technology is growing and this coin is already used by some banks for financial transactions. This will grow more in future when more banks add to its portfolio but it will not give much returns in short term.

in my opinion, ripple isn't bad. even though it has a centralized network. Ripple is a good altcoin. because it has collaborated with several state banks. buying ripple at this time is also good, because of future investments. Ripple has a real project that is already visible.

In my opinion, the news that ripple coins are not decentralized is just false news. Ripple is actually a potential coin except that most people who hate ripple will drop ripple. This potential coin should be bought because the future is very potential. Ripple is very superior in terms of transaction speed so that the future is very useful.

I think that Ripple will show a great growth within the next several years. They are working hard on this coin and making great partnerships on the asian market. But in my opinion Ripple is not a crypto currency, because it does not have a limited supply and such "coins" do not belong here.

I would rather go for stellar than ripple, the two coins are closely matched but I just think stellar has more going for it than ripple does, plus its at a lower price
