The reason I ask this because as we all know in the past when bitcoin goes up then Alts suffer in red loss. This is important to know especially on this sub forum for investors looking to invest in Alts.

Or will bitcoin be boring flat stable consolidation for a while or will it dip further below $9000 soon? If it dips quick then I feel Alts will dip as well.

Will we see another Alt bull run early 2018 like we did previously in spring?

Whats the market forecast analysis so far?

Honestly, it's better for Bitcoin to settle at a stable price level at this time. Or it will soon die anyway because of how it processes transactions in a 'timely manner', not to mention its 'reasonable' fees.

What price you think btc will stable out at and how long, till news of Lightning network update release date? So best to buy and hold Alts until lightning network update right?

Bitcoin stabilization is good news as that means money will pour into Alts meaning we have a Bull run into Alts starting now if that is the case.

massive correction mean massive growth and bitcoin back from 18,000 to 13,000.

Whats your reasons for this growth? Lightning network or NYSE entering bitcoin?

If I'm not wrong, the actual ATH was around $19,500 before, depending on which exchange website you're checking with. In Q1, we can expect even higher prices than $24,000 if the market goes well.

$24k is pretty conservative, more likely $28k.

In the past few months, bitcoin advertising has grown very much. Many heard only about its growth. Not write about the fall. Therefore, thanks to the influx of new investors, I think in 2018, in the first half of the year will be quite strong growth, but 25k $ will definitely overcome, unless something unexpected happens in the same China.

Honestly, $24k is the minimum, more likely hit 26, 28, even $30k maybe, mainstream influx and FOMO is real.

I heard lightning network update will take 6-12 months. You sure Q1 2018?

For me it will do that in first two months, so just invest in this little down cause bitcoin has power to just recover that fast.

Are you sure? I have heard that it will take a long time until the end of 2018. But perhaps they gonna hurry up with lighting network.

I think the price will be higher then $28 k. A lot of new investors are buying Bitcoin no matter how high the price is and no matter knowing of any problems like process transactions. I guess for some it is only important to have Bitcoin.

If they hurry up with the lightning network then the code might be buggy on release. At that point whos willing to invest $20k+ on something thats buggy ???

The only way I see Alts growing is when Bitcoin price is flat stable or slowly dipping away in price.

funny.. people is really stupid again... paying 16000$ per token is absolutely insane. BTC sucks. There are altcoins much more usefull, and without this stupidly high fees..
i will be very happy the day that BTC gets replaced ...

My prediction about BTC prices for 2018 is not bullish. 2017 was a very good year for BTC but we need to tank some gas here and go slower.

Bitcoin has already bottomed and yes, it will go above $20000 in early 2018.
There are no reasons for its rise to end anytime soon. Corrections happen
every 2-3 months anyway and not a surprise.

That's like you wrote. Early 2018 for bitcoin will be a big pump with the biggest ath which will supprise some of investors to my mind.

24 is not that high at all

It's really exiting that, we are predicting that bitcoin will reach $10k in the last of this year 2017 when bitcoin was $7k. But now we believe that bitcoin will go $20k early of the 2018.............And also believe that it can hit on $24k as well. So let's see in the new year.

 it will be up and down between 15000 and 20000 until june it will up 20.000  after july maybe.

Ok we will see huge explosion in Alts till June 2018 I guess depending on the Lightning Network release.

Crypto is very erratic so no one knows.  BTC may be dethroned before 2018 is over.

However, if all goes "normally" as they did the past 10 years, BTC can possibly get to $30,000 (or even $87,000 :O ).
