Mr. John McAfee once again tweeted a coin today. So, Today lucky holders will be Humaniq (HMQ) coin holders. ;)
This his tweeter post today.

It does, I don't have HMQ, So I didn't follow , good for HQM Holders. Is there good project behind HMQ?

Hahaha this is pathetic. Why would the value of a coin rise 50% by someone just mentioning it?! And that someone being McAffee, a coked out old man. He adds no value to it. This is getting ridiculous. If he mentions a coin and it does not move in price, THAT coin would be worth investing in, since its market knows.

There are probably bitcoin whales man. They maybe work with McAfee, we can't know this. Otherwise the price of HMQ wouldn't go up that much after a simple tweet.

It seems like everything John McAfee tweets is being pumped.  Too bad we don't know which coins to buy before he sends out the tweet. 

yeah, its him. i saw he going to promote 100 or more crypto in several month. so brave your self and prepare for some btc cause you gonna need it to buy whatever coin he say. ofc need alittle research though

Mcafee's tweets do move the coins a lot. Verge is a top example and  Digibyte also.

i think it is not. it is only to pump the coin. but some people can make this chance to get profit for themself. as long they not greedy, they know when right time to out and take profit

I am not that really sure if following his predictions is a right choice. Tell me if I am wrong, but what if he decides to pick a Coin/Token that has good potential (theoretically) and buy before at low price few millions before Tweet, then announce it officially and start selling slowly to basically all Twitter users around the world that are ready to buy "in hope" it will rise and stay for at least enough time so everybody can sell with profit.

I like John McAfee, but after he picked ReddCoin, he lost my trust. It's an old project - 2014 and I am shocked he chose this one and not something newer and better. Smells fishy to me.

To those of you that are buying the coins he is tweeting, is the price moving so fast that you cannot get it around the price he moves at?  So if the coin is say 5 cents, and saw the tweet and then go and buy it, how much of a price worst are you usually getting it at?

People who sheepishly follow John McAfee's pumping of coins will definitely get burnt one day. It should be quite obvious to followers who are not stubbornly blind, Mr. John stacks on a particular coin that has dropped in price, tweets about the coin, sells the coins and makes profit. By the time others come in late, the coin is heavily dumped on them. Be wise people!

The only ones who are following his signals are the newbie ones, just go to the Trading Section of this forum and you will see that the only ones who are talking about Mcafee are just the newbies who want to make money at any cost, i am tired of them.

MCafee is cancer to our market community,hes just using his name to attract small fishes to ride his boats but bots are already setup before his twit,cancer must be stop before it kills the whole market.

From what I saw quoted mcafee will promote any coin for a 25BTC fee plus a share of the coin he's shilling.

To those of you that have been getting his tweets and then immediately buying the coin on an exchange, are most of you profiting?  For example say he tweets a coin that is 5 cents.  I mean when you go buy it, does it automatically move so fast to say 8 cents already or not?


The other thing is my thoughts would be how about immediately buy the coin when he tweets it... say buy 1000 dollars worth.  Then watch the price go up.  Then say the price doubles... you keep watching but the moment it starts dropping... you immediately sell.  Or you set a goal such as okay buy 1000 dollars worth... once it goes up 50 or 100 percent, you immediately sell it no matter what to lock in the profit.  Thoughts on that?  So if this coin does go all the way down, well you locked in your profit by selling it back immediately.  Or of course if you held it and it goes higher etc... well you missed out but you locked in your profit.  Surely ppl do this?

Actually that was from a fake account. McAfee has announced that there is a fake account. Twitter will shut down that ac soon. So it wasn't him who said he will charge money to tweet pump that coin..

Actually I saw his tweeting after 10 mints of publishing. Then it has started to pump. was around $12 as I remember. when I am typing this post its value now $60+.  my all money invested in coins. so I couldn't grab the opportunity..

i dont understand..what is this guy trying to do? and why people buying his coins.. too risky moves and makes no sense to me. only winner is mcafee at here.and early buyers when he write.

Can you guys imagine how much John McAfee is making alone buy just announcing these coins? All he has to do is buy up a few million dollars of a coin and say "My Today's Pick" -- bam he instantly made himself richer by the freaking day. Guys like John McAfee are ruin cryptocurrency as a whole, people are losing their life savings trying to follow and buying his recommendations. These are what we call the influencers. McAfee is one of those crypto influencers who hots lots of followers and believers. Whenever he speaks, both media and followers listen and act.

But I don't think he just tweeting each and every coin. There should be some potential in that particular coins what he describes. Before buying the McAfee pump and dump coins please check the volume of the coin in the last day. In this day it was humanic and one can easily identify the volume was increased rapidly before the McAfee's tweet came out. It clearly shows somebody bought before the tweet heavily to dump heavily on the noobs money.

Now he became the biggest intraday influencer as soon he tweet about coin it will raise for sure intraday people can follow this strategy atleast for some day.

that is what i always say about McAfee. he is only interested in how much money he can make from this market. even when he is talking about bitcoin and how it will be $50,000 or $500,000, etc i know that he is saying these things because he has invested in bitcoin a lot.

and now he is trying to increase his bitcoins by pumping these random altcoins which he buys first (accumulates at low prices) then advertises to get pumped.

I'm always amazed at what Mcafee coins pick. Its kind of he well-understood the coin he picked, and many people believe him as a tech-savvy so the coin will get a prices surges. The coin he chooses is had ethical values with a pretty undervalued price.

After his rounds of pumping he will be able to buy islands for himself. His followers trust him a lot. It's good for everyone, even for day trade whatsoever :) Buy as soon as he announces it and wait until settles and sell.

Basically bots used his tweet to pump and dump this coin and now it will probably fall slowly back to previous value. I dont like his methods of advertising those coins every day.

McAfee and his mouth. Humaniq had a great ideal yes. So do a lot of other coins, arguably even better. Try searching online for "blockchain unbanked" and you will see a lot of projects. Yes it was among the first, and vitalik Buterin was promoting it so it got a lot of hot air. But the idea itself was never achievable. Smartphone app for the unbanked. Yes. The unbanked who live below the daily poverty rate are expected to suddenly become blockchain enabled with smartphone apps scanning their faces. Don't hate me, I actually liked HMQ but then I realized I was a bit silly.

In my own opinion. HMQ or Humaniq is the only coin that i like that John McAfee's announced of his coin of the day because for me and for my honest opinion, i can say that Humaniq is a sleeping giant and it deserves more than 20k satoshi price for the market and i think that in the future with or without any promotion and just demand. Its price can go up to more than 100k satoshi.

He did the trick to fool the bot by posted the chosen coins on the image. Right now he abandoned the coins of the day and changed it to coins of the week, and he will post the coin every Monday morning due to many people complain about it.

exactly, after McAfee invested in bitcoin and got more profits after his announcement, and now McAfee want to gain profits from altcoins too that he already had before by announcing or publishing it on its own twitter account, obviously he wants to promote his very own altcoin that he had before to get for more profits from the upcoming pump of this altcoin after he announce it. it can affects the whole entire price of this altcoin after these. :(

John McAfee is an artist of pump and dump. He charges 25 BTC plus 15% of the volume to promote a coin, as has been evidenced by a lot of communities. I wouldn't follow him.

Even I saw the screen shot of a chat that he had with some one when that guy asked the potential of a particular coin. Actually there is a fake account for Mr. McAfee. He already announced it and informed Twitter as well. Fake ac holder was the man who asked that amount of BTC to promote the coin. Not Mr. McAfee. it looks like already lot of people mislead by that bogus ac. 

Hmmm. I have not done any research about Humaniq, must do soon. have to wait until BTC to be stable.

If you are thinking to buy HMQ coin just because of John McAfee’s tweet, then you are the wrong phase and Crypto trading is not for you. Cryptocurrency market is a volatile one and recent days it all works on Pump and Dump mode. when more people started buying a coin, price of the coin will be increased for the 2 days and you will feel happy just for that two days. Once buying grace ends, the price of the coin will start falling down in the 2X speed.

what about trading for short time period on pump and dump mode? It will work with the help of Mr. McAfee huh?  ;D . I agree with you we shouldn't be in to Crypto based on someone's one single statement. People and investors must be warned and educated about this bullshit tweets because clearly he's robbing the innocent investors. Tweeted and pumped then withdraw then suddenly a coin will dive back into the ground. That's insane!

It's true! Invest because the coin is good and effective to the community, the team are competent, developers are skilled enough to run the entire blockchain and not according to Mr. McAfee's shit tweets. Invest with your own risk and that Mr. McAfee's tweet will surely risk your investment.

Yes, I think this is a very nice strategy to earn by investing in a coin which McAfee likes as he can pump the coin at any stage if just he mentions it in his comments. So, a trader needs to follow him everywhere and keep track on the updates of his daily investments. Yes, the followers of McAfee are spread all over the word and he has earned a great respect in the field of crypto until.

I have been following those McAfee tweets. Little did I know it is really making such impact. Sadly, he is yet to tweet about an altcoin I hold. His comment about Bitcoin has also contributed in the rebound I guess.

I guess this dude has become another pump and dumper and I really don't think this is any good for his reputation at all. Every day he must be investing in some coin and then tweeting and pumping it then dumping it on all his followers the day after. I think this is getting to be stupid to be honest. Well, It already happened, so he has changed his approach of tweeting coin of the day . Now it has become "coin of the week" so now on wards he will announce a coin every Monday of the week instead of tweeting a coin daily. Criticisms have worked. Pressure was on him as he tweeted..

A very good job. First all get the coin in the sizeable amount  then go and get a tweet. The value of coins in hand grow exponentially. Sell it back and pocket the money for the holders.

We can't just rely on John McAfee to pump the coins that we own. Although there is a good thing if you already own those coins, but I wouldn't recommend to listen only to John McAfee's tweets about the coins that he supported.

We should self-educate ourselves in cryptocurrency trading and investing, especially if we're planning to buy Humaniq. It may pump a bit, but may fall a bit until it sustains price.

It may be true that he causes a pump and dump among coins, however, he is clearly not robbing investors of anything. He didn't say you MUST follow his tweets or what coin he is promoting. Plus, isn't it the responsibility of a good and knowledgeable investor to do some research before investing on a coin? If an investor invests on something just because a famous person had advertise it, it only clearly show how amateur he is and unsuited for trading and crypto-world.

I think McAfee study first the coin he tweets. If you check the coin they have a good whitepaper behind it.Just so happened that maybe he didn't consider other consideration like coin supply or team history and capability.

Pretty simple, because people think that morons will buy it because he told them too. And thus it will go higher. And that's a good reason to buy, because it's gonna rise. Would have anyone bought without this way of thinking? Certainly much less.

I am beginning to have profound love for this Mr John McAfee of a man. I think he has a lot of influence in the cryptocurrency world. Just twitting about a coin creates positive impact about that coin. It's amazing the kind of respect people accord this great security man. I think he deserves it.  Thank God for Humaniq coin for being in the good book of McAfee.
