I don't think this is hard fork of original bitcoin so that we have no chance to get free coins anymore but there are some premine coins for bounties purpose. This coin have different block reward that's why I'm quite sure about that.

There us confusion because of the name of this coin which let impression about being another fork of Bitcoin. I think OP should clearly mention that this coin will be started from zero with fresh start and has nothing to do with Bitcoin fork. I will be watching for more to come out over the next few days to have better understanding.

due to an issue in the block explorer, the genesis block is not automatically fetched via rpc, to check the contens of the block 1, write in your debug windows getblockhash 1, and getblock [the result of the last command]


it's not low, it's pretty common and it can be mined by cpu and gpu, and from what we know Baikal is the only ASIC hardware manufacturer with X13 algorithm compatible hardware.

the pool find a lot of blocks.
But the difficulty is so low, that a lot miners find the same block at the same time. And so it get rejected.
I think thats the reason, why nobody else create a pool.

Did anyone with the capability has compiled the wallet from the source code, and make sure there is nothing malicious within the source code? No actual activity on GitHub and the team behind are totally anonymous.

Just a thought dev, you might want to consider changing the symbol for Bitcoin Pro to something besides BTCP. There are already a few coins out there with that symbol. Maybe you should go with BPRO as a suggestion? Anyways, that's my two cents.

We contacted several of them. Some wanted a lot of money (close to 100K) and some told us they would examine it and we still haven't heard from them.
We also received a few offers from small exchanges with less than 1 Mil $ in daily trade but we don't want that. We want to be in the top major exchanges like Bittrex, Cryptopia, Binance etc.
Anyone here linked to one of them and can make it happen within one week? A big bounty is devoted for that. Contact us through the email on the website.

You guys (Devs) can obviously do what you want, but I'd say get this on even one small exchange. Give us a background on the devs, maybe? I mean, don't keep us in the dark, that's all we're asking. Technically, what's the endgame for this currency? I know it's fast and you really have a damn fine looking, simple wallet people can jump right in on without too much hassle. That's two things that attracted me to BTCPro. It's simplicity and quickness. But, you've gotta give people something to nod their heads about. Look, I'm no expert, but I've been around long enough to know that in this noisy crypto climate stuff like this goes a long way with building trust for a coin. Another would be to disclose plans for all of the large premine and do some either decent drops or large rewards like some of the other coins with it. Again, my two cents.

The whole situation has been changed since the announcement of Bitcoin Pro it was based on low fees and faster transactions. Bitcoin has extremely low fees now and confirmation timing is also decent. One more thing LN and segwit will make ultra fast transactions how would you compete with main chain then with remain to watch.

Well I just received 60 BTCP  bounty rewards for doing an interview with the developer it's not even worth $1 but I'm hoping that tis coin will generate more support as they build their roadmap, but they need big exchange to gain more support from traders.

We predict they will not be the last to announce BTCP name after us.

I think opening page needs to be updated with current information regarding fork date when that actually took place. Also a short description to claim the coins using some specific wallet would be helpful for many people who didn't go through this process before this fork.

So many Bitcoin related names but this one is not a fork of Bitcoin so don't expect, an airdrop, the roadmap is good but they need to work double hard and to keep up, they are up against at least three Bitcoin fork coin they should at least offer something different to the table

Of all coin named Bitcoin this is one that is not fork, they have a good roadmap but it seems the dev is not actively posting here we have no news or update for over two weeks people might consider this another dead coin.

Why there is no activity on GitHub at all anymore ? What is visible last commit was about 4 months ago and since there has been absolute zero work on the code improvements and changes. Also after four months only exchange stock.exchange isn't enough to succeed. I will be watch how the work move ahead in coming weeks.

There is a problem. When I copy the address from the BitcoinPro wallet and enter it on the Stocks.Exchange exchange to transfer the coins from the exchange to the purse, the exchange constantly writes to me that: the  wrong address. I did so with three different addresses and all this problem - the exchange swears. Only the first address is immediately working and remains, which when installing the purse was already in the menu. What am I doing wrong? Why do other, new addresses from the wallet not work to get coins?

I figured out that I made one mistake in three addresses. In the addresses instead of one character "J" I entered a small "j".
