The way to do it is click my banner, register, then use the link they provide you to build your pool

build my pool as in members?

Yes. All you do is register then refer, refer, refer..advertise your link as much as you can. As people click your link and register they automatically become part of your pool of which your the owner.

Edit: Ok I noticed you joined my pool..welcome aboard :)

Now the fact your in my pool is irrelevant to you. What you need to do now is acquire as many referrals as you can and build your own pool as I'm doing.

and its better then deepbit? What are good ways to get people to join?

I've not used deepbit, but in their pool (assuming your are mining on your own with 1 PC) you would be but a blip on their statistics. With Triplemining you get rewarded both for mining yourself and you take a small percentage from each of your referrals in your pool. Example, below is my current statistics:

Round information
Round started 1 day ago
Shares solved this round: 1743687
Your current speed: 639 MH/s
Shares solved by you: 20738
Estimated reward: 0.59169907 BTC
Minipool estimated reward 0.3884881 BTC
Total estimated reward 0.98018717 BTC

Now you can see from that I am estimated to earn 0.59169907 BTC for the current round. This is expected with a hash rate of approx 639 MH/s (see http://98.200.247.249:81/btc_calc.php), BUT you can see also from the stats that I am expected to earn an additional 0.3884881 BTC for the round from my pool members which gives me a combined total of 0.98018717 BTC . So in this respect yes this a better mining pool than deepbit :)

So basically advertise. All you do if post your banner and that's it?

That's my pool :)

But its not luck. All I did was add a link in my sig and that did the rest.

Yea its just a matter of being creative. I've joined a couple of other bitcoin forums and advertised Triplemining too. Join a forum and start a discussion about bitcoins then mention your in a pool and its benefits, pass on your link, etc..

Sorry for all the questions. But what are some other good bitcoin forums? And how did you get people to once they click on ur banner to be in your pool? Cause when I clicked on it I made a account and it made a pool for me as well.

The link should automate everything. All you need to do is advertise your link. Try forums such as http://bitforums.net/index.php to advertise or google 'bitcoin forums'.

Wolf,

When you click on someone's link you join their pool, but this does not stop you from creating your own pool...

Awesome. Lets all start resonating triplemining!

res·o·nate  (rz-nt)
v. res·o·nat·ed, res·o·nat·ing, res·o·nates
1. To exhibit or produce resonance or resonant effects.
2. To evoke a feeling of shared emotion or belief.
3. To correspond closely or harmoniously.

How is this not a pyramid scam?

http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=26550.0

I'm mining at ~660Mhash/s, plus theres another member already - If anyone wants to:

1. join through link in sig
2. invite others
3. profit???

(going to trial for a week to see where the numbers go)

How is this not a pyramid scam?

lol..because theres no 'tier' structure. I, for example, as a pool owner dont take profits from my pool members members.

We have 59 mini-pools currently. These are my stats:

Rank    Pool   name                                                   Speed   Users

#2   Oldminer & The Blockheads   Platinum harvester   5055 MH/s   69

It's not a pyramid scheme, more of a referral spam instigator. As long as you have 0 referrals, or the people you referred are below your hashing power, you're taking a loss.

Calming that you can triple your income is quite funny and misleading.

Awesome number of users there xD

My only question is that at what point does it become better then deepbit ? Like what number of users do i need to make this better then what I am already using?

Well any pool is actually better then deepbit. Since deepbit takes a 3% fee on regular mining and 10% fee on pay per share.

I'v gave up on this for the moment. Was getting fractions of BTC compared to what I get at Slushes mining myself (6990). Possibly due to overall pool size or creating my own pool? Either way I may come back at a later date

We're just having a bit of bad luck on this particular block.  We found the previous two blocks in half the expected time.  Once we find this block we'll be back to high numbers and smooth sailing.  The thing about smaller pools is that sometimes you get lucky and get more BTC, sometimes you get unlucky and get less BTC, but when its all said and done it all averages out.

Triple Mining is particularly good, not just for their referral bonuses and jackpots but also because they don't lose shares occasionally like many other pools do.  This means that the pool is that much more likely to find a block, and you're that much more likely to make BTCs more frequently (and thus in greater number).

Don't be surprised if I make you a very rich man.  ;)

I certainly don't have any objection!  You can help stretch Team Ausp's lead into the stratosphere.  Just let me know if you have any questions or need help.

Also, they only pay up to the 2nd decimal place. :-/
For a newbie, we want those extra bits. Triple mining pays all bits.

Lets start sweepstakes! Who can bet when the block will be found? I'll choose the 5-6 hour period after this post  :-X (1am-2am GMT+1)

That could be quite a bit of fun, actually.  In fact I created a game where we can place a few small wagers to keep us entertained until the block is found.  You can check out the game here (http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=26857.0).

How to we predict the block? Like pure guessing?

Pretty much; its a crap-shoot.  Or, looking at it another way . . . we're playing a lottery to guess when we will win the lottery. :P

Auspician: I'm going to go ahead and give TripleMining a try. Slush's pool has treated me very well, but I want a little more transparency and the ability to automatically add workers without any captcha, so I'm using your link to sign up. Don't be surprised if I make you a very rich man.  ;)

lol the reason why I joined

They're probably waiting for the round to end, and I can't blame them.  For the 8 people in my pool that are mining, I have 12 that aren't.  I imagine those numbers will reverse as soon as the round ends and it becomes more beneficial to submit shares for the new block without the weight of all the previously submitted shares weighing heavily against them.

Thanks . . . it helps to ease the pain of taking forever to find a block.  Even if it is only half of what a block would be worth to me.

I just wish I could get people to sign up on my referral link without being all spammy with giant images and such. No offense  ;D

I'm pretty happy pointing my ~3GH/s at this pool regardless though, it's much more responsive so I lose fewer hashes to overhead. It's a pretty noticeable difference.

3 GH/s on your own?

A hair under right now, I've got one node down from a dead power supply and one that's short a video card (technically short a VGA dummy plug but the effect is the same) but yeah, about 3GH/s or so.

They might be CPU mining. At this point in the looooooooong round, their low low hashrate might be not showing up cos of too low number to calculate. I see a couple of people in my pool jumping from 5MH/s to 0MH/s, meaning CPU mining. So I created a test miner of my laptop CPU and sure enough, it is mining but coming up as 0MH/s

Mr wolf902, please consider locking this thread.  It is not needed, and is a small part of why the moderator thinks TM is flooding the forum with spamy referral links.

(ie: this thread was made specifically so that you could have a place to show your sig banner, while talking about TM.)
