I believe that Ripple will have potential to grow in coming years, but i want to know your opinion about Ripple. Also, is it safe to HODL in Ripple for like 5 years?

I personally don't like Ripple because it is not really decentralized, is like a private application of a blockchain. Have little bit invested there as part of a very diversified crypto portfolio, but not a core holding.

I would never recommend anyone to buy and hold only one crypto asset.

if this happens and works, I think ripple will reach top 3 in cmc after bitcoin and ethereum.

Ripple can hit 5$ to 10$ next year. So let's buy more XRP before its too late.

jes it acutally doesnt matter how many US dollars ripple will hit, it couls also hit 1000 million us dollar tomorrow, the question is will people still work for us dollar, considering the large scale bankster fraud they have to live with?

it is true that "state" regulated currencies are increasingly broken because, the regulations are to complex,

but this doesnt mean we are all so stupid now and give the power again to the banksters..

Ripple still has loads of coins to sell to banks/enter circulation, currently it's about 1/3rd of total amount in circulation. Once it's finished it's pump, it'll likely settle on that amount for quite a period and even then, only expect sustained small gains. It has competition in the market and a plan to avoid massive pumps.

XRP still has a lot of potential, and when it works with more and more Banks, it's already leading a lot of applied tokens.

Currently we have seen that inspite of the btc price fall Ripple price was stable where it was and did not fall. Thus this is a good news as it might have found its resistance here and as btc prices move upwards so will ripple will rise again. thus the scope of ripple will gets more widen as people will use it for the transfer and as more and more bank join using this technology its demand will only rise.

I can't predict the future of ripple, but my guess is at least few times higher than current because of banks. I don't know and how healthier are those huge price jumps, but we will see. 300% in 7 days is pure speculation and now Ripple is on 4th place of all currencies.

That's my question too. future of XRP. There are positive and negative views about XRP. Actually I can't get an real idea. News about Korean and Japan Banks willing to  take XRP technology is really a good news for its future. indeed, But I still have a hesitate to invest in it. Risk is there, but without taking a risk can't be a good investor.

Despite negative/positive news about XRP, I personally feel that it will pump like ETH, BTH and BTC in future (not in near future thou), its surely not going to vanish anywhere soon, but how much it can pump in 2018?

Yes it deserve to hold xrp now, though it is a short term investment but it has a long term invest also, for me I suggest that you should hold it because of its circulating supplies is huge compare to other altcoins so you can be sure that it would rise in time and gain profit from it.

Ripple will grow. Ripple has its own strategy of development. This is what to differ this currency from all other kinds. Ripple developers are trying to integrate real finance economy with blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

I think of course Ripple will be growing, but as already said it is not really decentralized and I prefer more Stellar than Ripple, but I think I will hold both after BTC correction. Ripple & Stellar & NEM are competitors, but that doesn't mean that some of them will not grow.. they will grow all - the question is which one will grow more and faster?)

What is exactly the XRP plan? Are the Banks going to use the blockchain technology to secure transfers between fiat currencies, or do you think the plan is realistically to switch to XRPs?

Ripple has a huge potential, but you should really know that the price of each ripple has increased from two cents to more than one dollar and twenty cents.

Maybe if you know some maths, you should be able to realize that the price has increased by more than 60 times in just a year, less than a year if we want to be specific.

It is risky, ripple has a huge technology, but yes, the price is very high right now and it could crash at any time.

The safest pick for the next 5 year is of course ethereum or bitcoin. I'm not sure actually, but if you really want to invest for long term, then bitcoin and ethereum is the safest of all.
However, there are lots of awesome altcoins to invest for long term as well such as : Tron (TRX), Ripple (XRP), BitcoinCash! (BCC), And Litecoin (LTC). But we don't know what will happen in the future, so the best is to predict it yourself.

I don't have much information about ripple but I heard anywhere it is a good investment. Last time I known about it is the gradually pump it's price so it is a good starts that it will be huge in the coming years. Others crypto's can also be a good choice just study first there platform for better reference if it will be raised in value.

Ripple has increased by a lot of times during this year, if i would be you, i would never invest in this altcoin just because of that.

If you are expecting to make profit from an altcoin that increased by more than 10000% in just a year, you are going by the wrong path.

There are better options on the market right now, just as new coins who have good projects and products, and of course a good team, such as waves, cardano, and a few more.

I don't like Ripple because of it main users - banks, but my guess is that the price will continue to raise exactly because of the banks. They will want a bigger control over the market and one way to do it is to pump Ripple, increasing it influence and market cap.

I honestly believe that Ripple has a good thing going here. It might even be used for daily transactions which would boost its demand.

Ripple isn’t mainstream at the moment, not many people know about it, but in more and more news about bitcoins, ripple is mentioned and if the mass is going to think about ripple as the “other” bitcoin, then the price only will go up, since we all knew about that guy with $ 27 worth of bitcoins which became a miljonaire

Ripple is not a new altcoin and its price looks very good in these times. I think that it have a good potential to reach better prices in the future.

Yes, given time, XRP could quite easily become number one in cap, ahead of Bitcoin. The potential target market is just vast, way beyond the total crypto cap at the moment. I am holding mine with no plan to sell any time soon.

I've always had some money in it but no real commitment UNTIL the huge EmberCoin Rally. To transfer funds between exchanges and transfering between coins is a MASSIVE cost.

This is my guts feeling too for Ripple.

I have predicted that Ripple would rise and hold above $1 by the end of 2017, and it has already surpassed that. It seems to be following the pattern of many of the other top tier alts that stayed areound the same low end value for months at a time and then went on a steady climb to mulitple times. XRP has a stated use for the Banking industry for one and that I am sure will see its value increase vastly.

I am also holding Ripple since $0.19 with a further top up at $0.74 after the first drop when it hit $0.9. I think Ripple has great potential going forward and I think we will see $3 during this year so getting in around $1.50 seems fine to me.

there's a movement on the market in the ripple (XRP) so many news about ripple will go high before the end of the year till first week, but i saw the graph i invested a little i hope xrp will have a bull run and not just some bull trap.

Ripple has been picking up a lot of attention in the cryptocurrency world. But unlike other cryptos, it is regulated and allows fund transfer for banks. It is expected to do great for the next year because large number of banks around the world are actively working with XRP to implement its technology for payments making it trustworthy for investors.

Holding ripple coins is a good decision because ripple has  a increase of .60 usd in last 3 days. Earlier 1 ripple coon was of .50 usd and now it reachto 1.61 usd.

Ah! This coin is really a wild man and spreading like anything. Now as the coin has pumped a lot these days it has gotten the attention of every investor out there. They know the bitcoin on priority but now they believe in secondary options a lot and want to invest into them because it can give lot of money to them. Even myself is getting attracted to the Ripple a lot these days. Its really driving me crazy and look at the bull , its already above 1.8 USD, can anyone even imagine that!

I am speculating that its going to hit the bull mark of $10 USD in the next year end. Yes thats true for sure and there are may reasons for that. Crypto is like this only, when a coin gains the market investors and they hold then that coin is going to be sure shot huge success. So hope that we are the lucky one to achieve this in next year.

I guess so. It already reach $2.5 in 24 hrs. Its likely to hit $3 before new year. I think Ripple will pump more in January and 2018 is Ripple's year for sure.

I think it can easily reach $5 in January and $15-$20 in 2018, Lets see. Ripple's moves are crazy, I bought at 0.70 with top up 0.90 and sold at 1.2, now  i am regretting, because the day i sold ripples it pumped even more now i again bought at 2.7. But I guess its not stopping now.

Banks are buying ripple and i never trust banks. This is why ripple price goes crazy.

In terms of future referrences all coins has a potential to grow but the question there is these; How long they will survive and how strong will be their communities to support when time of issues occur just like what had happened to Ethereum and Bitcoin from time to time on it's way up. One issue is that Ripple is backed by banks so therefore a lot of people hate it in terms of privacy and control since it is a centralized one. Some people say that they are good to go with Ripple and some are not due to some issues but still has potential to grow just like Bitcoin amd Ethereum. Well, in terms of HODLing Ripple, I can say that it is safe since the adoption of some countries are rising. The more investors the more the potential of course.

Ripple is being crazy because Japan supports Ripple I think the future of Ripple will be brighter and will rise higher and will rival Bitcoin

Ripple is so popular in these time. It reached really good prices in the near past and I think its price and popularity will increase in the future too.

Within 5 years is not a fact, but in 2018 there will clearly be very good growth! Especially already successful tests of transactions in the banking system are going on, many banks are interested in Ripple technology.

I've bought Ripple for 500$ and I'm sure it'll pay off if I hold it. Banks positioning is one of the key factors.

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
Ripple is about super fast payment across thousands of applications that is much cheaper for banks and for us the customers.
In addition it will not be comtrolled by any company, bank or institution because the nodes will be decentralized through thousands of nodes that no one control the majority of.
Banks today control fiat through inflation and money production, in addition the government can dictate how it operates.

Ripple is exactly what the cryptoworld need and what people should support. Which is why everyone is buying Ripple/ XRP.
