I bought lot of usb miners from btcguild when they were 1.05 Btc and I received message with discount coupons

Since all other outlets are announcing this even though it was not supposed to happen until August 1, yes, USB Block Erupters are having a price cut!

But I dont want to buy another miners, so I am wondering if someone here is interested in thouse "coupons" ... I would sell one coupon for 0.3 Btc.

I was looking at the BTCGuild site and walked through the order process. I did not see any place to redeem a coupon.

They are not issued yet!

My point exactly. Not expected to be issued till Aug 5th.

But that doesn't mean he can't start selling them now!  I had a very pleasant PM convo with him and we set up a deal much like OgNasty a few posts up.  Very good guy to deal with and accepts escrow.

By my math, your coupons (at 0.3btc) afford me a 0.0655 discount on what I can pay cash for from someone who has a reputation.

I can buy 10 from Canary for BTC0.50 each

Im not sure how you figured out number "0,0655" but ... my one coupon = 1 Usb miner, that means 1 usb miner for 0.3 Btc

And yes you can buy from someone who has reputaion...your choice ....

If you don't give me a B.E. than I have to pay another BTC0.1 for a B.E.? Making my total cost BTC0.4

first off how does 0.3+0.1 = 4.0? and second if you read his initial post it states the coupon is worth the purchase of a B.E for 0.1btc + 0.05btc for shipping instead of 0.6btc +shipping and is selling them for 0.3btc so all you do is when coupons are issued and redeamable you use the coupon n pay the 0.05btc for shipping and you get your B.E  from BTCGuild so really it doesnt cost 0.4btc to buy it only costs 0.35btc to buy which by my math is almost 50% off.

My point is if I can but 10 from Canary for BTC5.0 with freight, the coupon deal is not really worth the effort

I sell 1 coupon for 0.3 BTC. For 1 coupon you can have free Btc miner, if not .... then 1 coupon for 0.15 BTC, i still dont get coupons so cant tell you exactly how it works. Anyways you got 1 miner for 0.30 BTC no more no less



Update from btcguild.com... oh my. ..oh my .... Looks like only 25 % of their buyers will get their coupons. I bought over 80 miners so maybe I even dont get single coupon :( .... will inform you how many I get... so right now Iam going to return money to those buyers who paid in advance, because I dont know how many coupons will i receive :( ....

Unfortunately, only 1100 coupons can be distributed, even though there were over 4,000 units at 1.05 BTC. This means only about 25% of 1.05 BTC order customers will able to receive coupons. The exact distribution is not yet finalized, but will favor the most recent 1.05 BTC orders over the earliest batches. Coupon information will be available by August 5th.

Its not like 0.3 Btc for me and 0.15 Btc for btcguild ... total price 0.45 Btc for 1 usb miner ..this is incorrect !! :)


If coupon from btcguild gives you free miner ...then I want 0.3 Btc

If coupon from btcguild gives you 1 miner for 0.15 Btc, then I want 0.15 Btc (for one coupon) ... looks like its this situation

just came from holidays, I have coupons but not as many as thought  :/ I have contacted btcguild, and wait for reply. Will start sending first coupons to you soon.

Its like this - 1 coupon for 0.15 Btc for me ... and you are able to buy 1 usb miner from btcguild for 0.15 Btc, example: so if you want 10 coupons you will send me 0.15 Btc ..(So you got 1 usb miner for 0.3 Btc total !!!!!) ..



Looks like coupons are transferable to another person ... great...

A 0.3 coupon for a 0.1 device? In that case the coupon is worth more than the miner itself. I will accept free ones though...  ;)

Lot of people ask me if coupons are transferable, and yes they are, its little bit complicated but can show you how to do that, PM me ...

I personally dont have any coupons left, but if someone would like to help with it feel free to ask  ;)

In case you think if they are profitable on 1 produced unit sold for 0.15 Btc, I think yes, but not as profitable as earlier when price was 1.05 or 1.99 Btc.
