Hey guys,

Can anyone guide me on how to buy bitcoin on Bittrex.com? what currency (US dollar) can i use on the site to make purchase? If so, how?
I see people over there are buying but I have no clue how they are paying in various amounts to buy.

Bittrex just like Binance, Poloniex, Hitbtc etc. have no fiat. It's for altcoins only. If you want to buy bitcoin using USD then you have Coinbase, Bitstamp, Bitfinex or Kraken, It will be mostly using credit cards or Bank account.

If regardless of Bittrex you are only trying to buy Bitcoin at very low commission I have found this video invaluable and I have saved a lot in commission:

I recommend you to use an offline wallet if you wanna buy bitcoins, it will do just perfect if you are sure about buying bitcoins through the bank account, well on bitrex I don't think it's possible.
First you should verify your account and proceed further..
Verifying will take a while but it's for your good only never trust any offline wallet that doesn't ask you to verify.
Check out the wallets according to your country.

You can only trade bitcoins for altcoins and vica-versa on Bittrex. You should already have bitcoins in order to be able to trade on Bittrex. If you have bitcoin, you can easily upload your coins onto your Bittrex account, but be aware that you cannot withdraw your coins once you have finished trading only if you verify yourself on the site with your ID. You should buy bitcoins on other exchanges mentioned above.

Coinbase, bitpanda and kraken are the exchanges where you can buy or trade bitcoin against USD.

Bittrex, poloniex, hitbtc like exchanges only have BTC-USDT pair, USDT tries to remain equal to USD but it is not USD in reality.
Don't get confused with Tether (USDT) and US Dollar (USD).
