Simple. Don't issue one!

I've already done that, what can I do next time?

My point was there are many, many, many threads of people asking what they should implement or not implement in their "new" coin. The simple answer should be don't issue a new coin. Because most developers I have come across try to compare the way they marketed the release or the super blocks to other existing coins. If this comparison is given any credibility, some could argue that the "new" coin is not new at all. The same crap happens; pre-mine or insta-mine or faulty source files or lack thereof. When confronted on why they did or did not do something the developers quickly quote that such and such coin didn't have a source file. Or this coin is different, alas we need to realize that ALL coins have the same goal or should at least.

how about we all just vote on the 10 best coins and kill off the other 30ish..spreading ourselves to thin at this time probably isn't the best way to take over the world. One miners opinion

This was to be an addition to my previous statement (rant). The best we can do to offer something new to the coin community IMO, is to use our skills to help current problems coins are facing not create new coins with the same problems; or worse new coins with new problems.

Have a working, useful product or service that uses the coin at launch.

How about don't make the user deal with any .config file as most normal people will have no idea even how to see hidden files/folders(roaming).  If you need to deal with configs make it gui based in the wallet. The easier it is for the general public the more of the masses we can get involved.

PNP support negates the necessity of the config file, and should be mandatory on all coins, i agree. however, for mining purposes, atleast using external application miners, the config file is necessary. maybe a concerted effort needs to be made to build a coin with cgminer included in its own tab of the application. if i was more profficient in C languages i would have already done it. after i finish my current projects i may make a serious look at doing this.
