Hey all

Do you think 2018 will be the year of cryptocurrency?? As we all know that almost everyday there is an addition in cryptocurrency market. Every country is moving towards cashless society. Will it be helpful for cryptocurrency to become more successful.

If you do not think so, then what is the future of cryptocurrency ?? It will be ending soon ? (You might have heard about "BTC Bubble" that will burst soon  :P)

i saw the chinese calender stating 2018 shall the year of pig... is there a crypto year? never heard of it  ??? ???

many experts have the prediction that 2018 will be important Crypto Currency  , but i think 2017 was the real year of Crypto Currency explosion

What do you define as the 'the year of Crypto Currency' exactly? I seem to recall people saying this every year about bitcoin for as along as I've been a member here  ;D. It's hard to answer without your definition of success but I think every year that passes bitcoin and crypto on a whole engrains itself more and more into the mainstream and this year will be no different and probably for good and bad reasons. I think bitcoin and crypto will have its ups and downs with industries adopting it and certain governments trying to ban or restrict its use but how that will be reflected in bitcoin or various cryptos value will remain to be seen.

I think we will deal with a lot of uncertainty especially in the first half of 2018, because the prices are fluctuating all the time and the bearish markets are nowhere to be seen. Once this uncertainty settles for better or worse, I think we will start seeing some real movement, hopefully upwards.

I am afraid, that 2018 can become last successful year for crypto :-\

I hope so. Unfortunately, the year does not start so well, if you look at the courses. So many coins that have lost value. I can not wait to see what will do this year and what the values ​​will be.  ;D

Year of crypto against govt rulling. There will be many govt that apply new rules to cryptos thet ban or accept. But the year 2018 will be the key of crypto to enter larger market. More and more people will invest in it. Bitcoin will be higher than 2017.

This year Crypto Currency will really grow too much because people's interest and curiosity is growing every day

You should know that it will be VERY hard, specially because most governments, and the giant ones like the US are trying to do as much as they can in order to regulate bitcoin, ico's, and whatever the fuck they want.For me, a lot of people are going to still going to be introduced in this system, but it will be hard for them, and more when they see a new and giant dip coming.. I do not know, but there is a lot of people that are not made for this.
The US is the only country who is always trying to fuck off bitcoin and all the other cryptos.

I think the true year of cryptocurrency will start now. 2018 will be the year of cryptocurrencies without a doubt, as the market is growing bigger every day, we can expect the market to grow even bigger this year ( like x2 or x3 ) and even more next year! Can't wait to see another fantastic things this year. But we can't deny the fact that cryptocurrencies prices are really fluctuative therefore called as "bubble".

Judging by the enormous number of people joining crypto exchanges everyday and the fact that many major exchanges closed their doors because they couldn't cope with the overwhelming demand, 2018 will DEFINITELY be the year of the crypto market :)

This is always happen that the year is for cryptocurrency. I beleive it so, once the demand continues and very active it is still the year for cryptocurrency. Since the adoptations is increasing maybe we can say this is the time of crypto.

Im sure this year will be the year of altcoins! so, get ready to big events, guys! everyone who is smart and patient will get his reward.

IF we won't enter suddenly in a bear market, THEN this could really be a year of cryptocurrencies, which more and more people who want to get on board. We'll see...

To be honest, I see that as an opportunity to buy more coins right now. While everything's low, you can buy and watch as the coins start to go back up.

As far as I know, it seems like 2017 was also a really good year for cyrptocurrency. Bitcoin surged, and with that came a lot more altcoins which are starting to pick up some pace now. While it's possible that we'll see more gains in 2018, I think 2017 was definitely a very unique year.

It will never end, How you are feeling pessimistic about that? My thought that it will grow more and more. The crypto users is only some percentage from all of the people around the world. Country moves to the cashless society will help crypto to grow more and more. I think that the fact this time it's happened.

Do you have evidence for this?  Because I don't see any activity from regulators in US or other other major Western nations, talk of regulation from Japan/Korea, and targets regulation of ICO from China.  They have had years to act and done nothing.  And would some regulation, especially ICO, necessarily be a bad thing?

2017 was already the year of crypto, 2018 wont be breaking any new trend. If anything, with all the money that has gone into the market in 2017, we will be seeing a bunch that of regulatory stuff from every country and organizations around the world who will now look for profits from us.

Do you think the USG and their relevant departments are just going to sit back and let unlicensed exchanges, casinos and ICOs get away with breaking the law and tax evading? Of course not. It's only a matter of time before they start regulating them more abut they've already taken down exchanges that they have no right in doing so like btc-e and have publicly stated that ICO's are illegal due to them not following strict securities laws etc.

We already live in cashless world, but VISA ans MasterCard did it, not cryptocurrency.

I think 2017 was great and 2018 will be better, because crypto is getting more and more popular. People hear about it every day and some of them want to educate themselves.
I believe that when people learn more about crypto, the fear of it will disappear and the more people are participating in a cryptoworld, the better the future is going to be.

I think that in 2018 the total capitalization will increase even more. there will be a lot of ups and downs, but then something cardinal is not to be expected. Before the universal recognition of peace is still far away, to the general ban is also far. I think that in 2018 in the crypt world there will not be anything much different from 2016 or 2017.

2017 was a good year for the entire market and we saw lots of price pump last year, this affected more people triggering them into the crypto markets so that the market volume expanded significantly.

i think that in Q4 of 2018 we will see crypto market cap touches about 2 trillions Dollars beacuse of many ICOs that joining every day, then the attention will be given to cryptos even Bitcoin, but till then we don't know what will happen

I believe it will be a good year yes .
More people are getting into crypto which means a much bigger marketcap .

as I know, today bitcoin and altcoin become one of the world's promising business and business talks. I am sure, the future of crypto will continue to evolve from time to time. bitcoin is one of the pieces of digital technology.

The fact is that to date, very much much is being negotiated in the world regarding the crypto currency, but not always these negotiations are positive. Many governments in some countries are beginning to raise the issue of prohibiting crypto currency, because they consider them a danger to national interests.

This year should be just a bomb, a lot of things should go to the block, which will undoubtedly increase the speed of many processes, for example - verification on the Internet (KYC Legal), banking processes (ripple) and other ...
Some countries already take the crypto currency officially for payment, then this year's crypto currency will be thousands of times more active than in the past.

i can't say like 2018 is the crypto year because so many crypto's price was decreased. but 2017 is the best year of cryptocurrency. bitcoin price is increased more in 2017.

Yes am of the believe that year 2018 will be the year of crypto currency all over the world as compared to year 2017. Although the year is not going to be free difficulties which may arise from different government and cooperate organisation or institutions like banks all against crypto currency  but crypto currency will still succeed in in 2018 as compared to what we saw in the year 2017.

Cryptocurrencies can be extremely volatile. The slightest news can lead to the fact that the cost of coins will fluctuate by huge interest in just a few hours. And this is a great stress every day.

last year was amazing year for cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin that the price was jumping rapidly from only $1000 at the beginning of year and reach almost to $20k several month ago but i wondering whether 2018 will be the best year again or surpassing the latest achievement for cryptocurrencies but as bitcoin users i have to felt optimistic to looking forward

I believe that in investing, in 2018, there's going to be a strong push toward diversifying cryptoassets and crypto investment management will be handled the way investors look at traditional assets and investing.Many investors will focus on the alternative cryptocurrencies, including litecoin, dash, and iota, rather than bitcoin or ether.

Yes i think 2018 is a best year of crypto currency because now a days there are so many country and most of the bank support blockchain Platform so i hope it is best for crypto currency and it will be more value able in this world.

In my speculation Crypto currency will be boost by Local countrys by support them by investing. By the popularity of crypto now a days is boosted i think there will be pumping in the crypto coins.

You started on a good note but ended on a bad note. Do you stand for 2018 as the year of crypto or 2018 as the year of Bitcoin bubble? Just to be further simplified.

Agree, I also think that even a lot of coins that have not been pumped for a long time will now be pumped

I join those who believe that 2018 will be a cryptocurrency year. It's still quite a young sphere and it's just beginning to develop.

Yes we are still in very early stage of crypto world. still It have to cover a long long distance, bitcoin and other altcoins will continue increasing its value and its uses will also continue increasing for a long long time, because still majority of people do not know anything about cryto world. they have to invest their money in bitcoin and other crypto currencies.

For sure 2018 will be the year of Cryptocurrency.It has already started with a bang as at the start most of alts were at a positive correction.Bitcoin was stable and people where investing in crypto.At start i was in village were you hardly find internet but there too i could find people who already invested in bitcoin or in any other cryptocurrency.Soo the craze has gone up,prices have gone up inspite of few hiccups it will be great year for cryptocurrency.

This is an acknowledgment the world has woken up! Not exclusively are new individuals entering the Cryptocurrency advertise every day, not exclusively are the veterans putting more cash in than some time recently
