Litecash [LCH] | https://litecashcore.org
Based on the Cryptonote technology | https://cryptonote.org

Litecash (LCH) is a cryptocurrency started on December 26, 2017. Litecash is a fork of Bytecoin and uses the unique algorithm CryptoNight. Our goal with Litecash is to create a near to perfect image of Bytecoin with improvements to it's block chain and adjustments, the first CryptoNote based cryptocurrency.

Specifications
  • Algorithm: CryptoNight
  • Block Time: 180 seconds (3 minutes)
  • Difficulty re-targets each block
  • Block reward decreases each block according to the formula: baseReward = (m_moneySupply - alreadyGeneratedCoins) >> m_emissionSpeedFactor
  • Total coins: 18 446 744 073 709 551 616 atomic units (= 184.46 billion LCH)

Coin Information
  • True anonymity & data protection
  • Untraceable payments use ring signature
  • Unlinkable transactions with random data by sender
  • CPU and GPU mining, ASIC-resistant
  • POW mechanism is a voting system for users
  • Multi-signature transactions

I do not understand why some developers put people in unequal conditions. Someone is already mining now at low diff, and someone is waiting for when there will be a pool and wallet. Is it really impossible to lay out everything at once and give all the same opportunities for mining coins? ??? ??? ???

It seems the name of Litecash has no relation with Litecoin, but is a fork of Bytecoin, so why not call Bytecash? This may confuse people???? ??? ???
In addition, this coins seems is only modify some parameters of the source code of Bytecoin,  are there other advantages compared with bytecoin and any other private coin?

Precompiled wallet and core are only for MacOS.
WTF?

update: and no, I can't run wallet or core on my macbook.
So seems like it's another wannabe schooldev shitcoin.

Probably it's easier then to make a premine and honestly declare this before the start of mining. Write for what this premine was created, on bounty, airdrops listings on exchanges and so on.

Dev, can you tell us when will there be a wallet for the Windows and a pool?

Why need such enormous supply of over 184 billions. I can understand the population of world is growing and everyone should be able to own at least one of this coin but still this huge supply. What will make this coin to become valuable with such inflated supply on its back ?

The coin is designed to be used as a currency rather than an asset. In order to ensure fairness (everyone gets pay...), the difficulty will rise rapidly which will make it more difficult to mine a block; but the payout amount will decrease slowly, making each block valuable. This reduces market flooding, all miners have a chance to mine litecash at any point... And some may get lucky, mining a block solo :D

This could be one of the reason why I might just start mining myself using my computer or probably set up my own rig just for mining.  Probably with lesser fee for the electricity I will definitely be trying to mine just about anything. If a miner can acquire just about enough say 50M and the price is 1 cent? Its going to be awesome.

Enough time to type posts and not enough to compile binaries for Linux/Windows/OS X.
If Mac OS wallet is built why it is not available for download?

Ubuntu 14.04, simply following instructions.
"CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:19 (find_package):
By not providing "FindQt5Gui.cmake" in CMAKE_MODULE_PATH this project has
asked CMake to find a package configuration file provided by "Qt5Gui", but
  CMake did not find one."

Anybody managed to compile?

But it is the first time i saw a dev who compile for MAC users insteed of Windows users !

Dev,

You should create a working wallet for windows and linux so majority of miners can use the blockchain.

That means that already 200+Ml coins were premined by dev&co. (Don't want to count exact numbers)

cd /usr/src/
git clone https://github.com/litecash/litecash-wallet.git
cd litecash-wallet

You can't even understand that you are wrong.
There are only 2 options:
1) Dev can't make windows wallet. What future then you expect? No work => 1 sat price of dead coin
2) Dev is holding wallet release to make hidden premine - simple lie. What future then you expect? 1 or 2 pumps to dump premine => no real work => 1sat price of dumped dead coin.

pool stuck at block #1751 but wallet synchronized at #1859 (and still running) so with simple math:
1859 - 1751 = 108 blocks
108 * 175738 (last known reward) = missing 18,979,704 LCH

shitcoin approved

It seems there is a delay in block the block resync, it's a known bug within the bytecoin source code. It should correct it's self at a certain block height.

While we all appreciate your efforts to get anything done for this project, I would like to know or understand why you didn't prepare anything beforehand? What is the reason that you start with the most essential things after actually launching the project? It's totally weird and it makes people go away from this for sure.

That's me, too, worried about this question, the question of haste is faster at the expense of quality. Is it not immediately clear that even such trifles will repel users.

Excuse but I fear I didn't really understand what you were trying to say. I just think that the most basic stuff should in place already when you are about to launch your project. Dealing with compiling wallets during the start phase doesn't really look very professional.

Litecash project has been suspended due to unethical early release, and major issues with the blockchain... It was a cool experiment, thanks to all that participated.

Sad.

I mined this wonderful coin with all my rigs for couple of hours, thank you for wasting my money and time! It was unforgettable experience and I'm really really grateful for your work!

Guess the project crashed and burned before it could even take off.

Unethical release? That was a preventable human error but not something they could not have recovered from.

Major issues with blockchain? Aren't they supposed to test these things out before the launch?

Hm.... to me it all look like those failures were part of a bigger plan. No wallets in place, no blockchain maintenance and so on and so forth. But we could have known better. All the signs were there...

This failure have taught many lessons to the team to come out next time with better plans. I like team openly recognized that due to unethical release project didn't succeed and it has been suspended for the moment. This tells that team has high moral and will not give up this here.

Waiting a takeover of the project...could be gooood! Rethink the launch in a fair way: airdrop or mining will small premine...
