Its said that all coins will pump in Jan 2018 and advisable to invest in Dec before year ends, how true it is and what is future prediction for main coins? Will jan 2018 be a month when coins will pump?

It seems they are gonna pump. Total market capitalization of all coins recovered from the pre-Christmas sell-off and money went in the alts mostly.

In the market of crypto currency it is very difficult to predict something. It seems to me that at the beginning of the new year, altcoyins can still fall a little in price, and then there will be growth.

I don't know how much truth there is about the pump of Alts, but definitely all coins that sir John McAfee publishes in his twitter will be pumped)

In jan 2018 BTC must be 20 k $, now, a good chance to invest in the crypto currency now, when its price is about 14 000. Because the next year Bitcoin will strengthen its position, not so many blocks remain, and soon the price will increase by several times.

Most probably yes. It can't be said surely if the most bullish market will happen in January or later, but I think the January market will at least be better than December and November.

I believe they will grow massively in the last quarter of 2018. In January, I don't think that the coins will pump to significant level but they will show a little rise specially bluechip coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum etc, they won't increase in January significantly.

I don't believe that Jan could be a month when the market will significantly grow. I guess it would be the month of a silence.

No one can say for sure but by the looks of it, it sure seems so. What we witnessed in the last couple of days were flash pumps on various alts and usually these kind of test pumps or flash pumps are followed by massive pumps in all types of shticoins. So keep your space suit ready boys!

The shorter the timeframe, the harder it is to predict.
By the end of 2018, I'm sure that alts will be a lot higher than now. End of Jan I don't know - certain coins may rise because of good news with their project, but difficult to predict the whole market across just a few weeks.

Surely it would. The dump happened because of the holiday season, many people use their coins to buy something. It usually happens and it would recover fast by the start of 2018, so if you have plans in investing some of your money on bitcoins or alts, you should do it as soon as possible.

Who are they? if they say next year is not the right time to invest you will believe it? Investment in cryptocurrency is very risky especially if you don't understand about the world of cryptocurrency it isn't recommended. A little advice from me is if you want to invest in the world of crypto at least you have to understand the first place that you will invest. I think that is the best way to start investing, this forum is enough as a reference.

My second suggestion is that if you already understand at least the world of crypto, i have a good coin suggestion to make an investment. The coin name is Ripple, please you research about ripple i think you will like it. Apart from a few days yesterday bitcoin prices and altcoin prices decreased. But what happens to the ripple is experiencing a price increase is the reason why ripple is worth to try to invest.

Most coins will pump or die in Jan 2018, it will a critical time for blockchain market with risk and chance, looking forward to it.

They are already showing up the signs of acceleration and I'm pretty sure that most of top 50 coins from the coinmarketcap website will head towards brighter prices and obviously market capitalisation would be higher than what we are seeing currently.

The bitcoin is getting little wired with its transaction fees as well as the confirmation time too. Even after paying higher fees we are having trouble processing it and I think people won't tolerate it much and mostly they will jump into altcoins. This they will do for the sake of easiness of transaction and more earning opportunity. So yeah they will pump naturally.

No matter who says so, nobody can predict what happens to a coin. We can only anticipate the next move based on indicators at hand.

yes i hope in 2018 maximum altcoins are going up and the market is again in the favour in  altcoins, It is good for the altcoin investors and especially for those traders who are in loss,
In previous year almost in the start of the year altcoin market was start to boom and altcoin are going up until bitcoin hardfork and now i think the altcoin will again go on their top and the opportunity is good for new investors and almost all altcoin holders to recover their losses also.

Man crypto space is so weird. Because of some news, it's will pump like crazy. just like any other influential people on twitter, when they tweet some coins suddenly it will have a spike.

In 2018 will be the same, mcafee will shill coins and any other coin he mention will going up.

Hopefully there's no tax selling but its something to watch out for.  I'm holding all my bleep for awhile.  Reach for the sky with my two favorites and all the others.

no matter what year pump and dump will always happen, it's the scam scheme of the big whales, when bitcoin go down altcoin go up and vice-versa

I think in the beginning of 2018 there will be a huge pump of magnitude because in the holiday season yesterday, of course there will be a lot of crypto holders who sell large amounts and of course will decrease the value of crypto and I think that time is the right time to invest crypto in great magnitude. and I think the beginning of 2018 is where investors will re-invest on crypto with large amounts, especially investments in bitcoin. I think it's a pretty right thing at the moment for us to buy another bitcoin or crypto because early 2018 is going to be a pretty high peak of the crypto price increase.

Huge pump will come at the first quarter of the year,alts are cheap right now thats why you should buy now or else you will lose the chance to take the train.

Most likely yes if you observe the marketcap it's coming fast and went off when people are cashing out, 2018 is gonna another serious year for crypto and buys are definitely coming, 700b soon when hedge funds are ready to let millions into crypto projects, look keen on potential projects and watch them pump, some plays are definitely coming on the top 20, many projects are reaching their crucial roadmaps too next year.

Yeah of cour coins will be pumped in Jan 2018 because 2018 is the year that altcoins and bitcoin will become more attractive with investors. Specially with stocks and gold holder.

this is whats expected and in the coming news i think we are going to have more stable coins as people are now getting the reason for using the different kinds of digital currencies.

we've been having constant growth for a while now so 2018 shouldn't be an exception. even if there's a correction eventually it will bounce back.

It is not that easy to predict what will happen to the pumps and dumps of every coin. But as for bitcoin and other main coins or the coins that are always in the top, having their prices are very volatile, and having greens now, I think it will pump this coming year, and Im counting on it.

I agree with you, most likely price spikes can be, but are not significant. Will swing closer to the summer holidays. So better to buy now if you have already decided

It seems that most of the users thinks that in q1 of 2018 , the alts will explode in price and I hope we are all right. Maybe it will not be q1 of 2018 but it will be in 2018 for sure. Good alts will hit insane prices I would say but let's wait for the storm to come  :-*

Are they going to pump? or are they going to dump? Who knows? Most of us can only predict what will happen with the price of the coins in January 2018.The coins prices is unpredictable in the market. Now,  the price can be very high,  but  five minutes later it can immediately be changed into a very low price. You know what I think every day? I've been guessing the price of the coins in January 2018.I guess it becomes question of many people.

i dont think people will pump coins on first month of the year, because in new year people are still enjoying their vacations and at least in ferbruary they will get back to work, so the price in next year will hardly rise in first month.

I believe they will start rising in price again, but rumors say that there will be a correction again in early 2018. So whatever you buy, just hodl and wait.

No one can possibly predict the future spot on- but I personally expect the prices to go up quite a bit. The prices have been dropping for the holidays because traders sell their cryptocurrencies to have enough money to buy presents and stuff, so there are more sales than normal weeks which makes the price go down. Once the holidays are over (2018), the prices will go up again, maybe even higher than before the holidays. At least, I hope so

I think about second or third week of January 2018 it will pumps up again, Expect there is another surprise comes with bitcoin, all we have to do is to invest and wait for the appropriate time to sell. :)

i think it is highly likely that almost all good coin will pump in 2018, currently there is a downfall but already recovering and this is the best time to invest in any good you think good for you

During this market i do not think that it will be pumped.Do not think short-term.we have to Be patient and we have to wait for coins to be pumped.

See both chances are there either they may dump or they may pump. Anything happen with increasing price of bitcoin and decreasing price of bitcoin. We always need to have patience and we are ready face any challenge we can see both the ups and downs in the market.

I think they said its advisable to buy in dec because many of the coins involving bitcoin are starting to drop so technically, you should buy when the price is low. All the accusations about coins will grow on January are just expectations and hopefully it would.

After all this expenses that happened with the holidays, people will be going back to what they are doing.
Maybe 2-3 payrolls and then they could go back to investing in crypto currencies.

in my opinion the answer is yes. Most of the coins will grow in value next week. I think there was a serious dump because of the holidays, but the Chinese New Year will also come next year in 16.02. so there might still be a small dump

I think coins will continue to pump up next year. This already happened to the internet age. Years ago many people are reluctant to use internet as a mean of communication because they still don't understand or doesn't know how to use it. But today users are continuously increasing even in remote areas. The information technology will help coins to be accepted most people in the future.

yes i have same opinion that next year would be big and this december is the best month to buy. the reason behind my opinion is in this month there a regulation of south korea which is makes the market seems affected by it that makes all coin red. i think next year it will fix and there will be more opportunity that will come for investors.

It seems like theyre gonna pump by next year. We all can see that BTC would recover from price dump and rise again. As we all know alt coin price depends on BTC's price. It is not true that all coins will pump, we really cant say that. Thats too good to be true. I suggest ETH to invest with. I believe it will be highly recommended to invest with ETH. Also invest your money on BTC, this is the right time to buy while it is not so much pricey. :)

Nobody can predict the future, especially in cryptos and with exact dates. The general trend is upwards, but how and when we will have major uplegs is a mystery.

I think pump may be in January for Ethereum and litecoin. I think now is the time to buy them. What do you think? Thank you for your opinion.
