Title: Help with Coinbase....
Post by: v3teran on December 27, 2017, 02:57:48 PM
Hi all,

I’ve registered on Coinbase 3 days ago and ive been waiting for my sepa account to verify.
I got an email saying that 2 Euro has been deposited into Coinbase account which was part of the sepa process.
I now have 2 Euro to trade bitcoin or any other crypto.
It also says that I have a limit of 16k.
Yet when I try to buy funds it says you only have 2 Euro.
Do I need to transfer funds to Coinbase again (sepa)into euro to buy btc
I thought that I had already verified my account with the 2 Euro through sepa 2-3 days ago...please help

Coinbase is not linked to your bank account (it was just verification) and you need to deposit again.

Yes you have verified your account it seems. You can but BTC, ETH or LTC with a debit card, its an instant transaction.

What? Of course Coinbase links to your bank account! How do you think you can transfer funds to buy Bitcoin? You need to link your bank account or a credit card.

Yes, you need to transfer funds in to buy Bitcoin. You can't buy Bitcoin with just $2 any longer, the fees will be greater than $2 for the transaction. If you click "Buy" it should give you the option to choose which bank account or credit card you want to use to fund that transaction. If you've not linked a bank account or credit card you will need to do so.

PM or post if you have other questions, I'd be happy to help you out.

Even though you have verified your bank account with Coinbase, purchases won't be automatically charged to that account. You need to specifically transfer funds from your bank account to your 'EUR wallet' on Coinbase. Or use a payment card.

Deposit more than 2 Euro as the lowest amount for buying any coin is 2Euro and they take some fees for buying any fees..so total amount will be more than 2Euro....I hope its your problem.

It's not linked to automaticaly withdraw money from it. OP needs to deposit again ( coinbase can't reach your money on your bank account ).
