Title: Rate Critique my Cryptfolio, Altfolio, Bit./Portfolio
Post by: dontomas12345 on December 27, 2017, 04:29:27 PM
This is for holding for ALL of first quarter of 2018.  Jan-Mar
So for cryptocurrencies that's a LONG TERM HOLD

25% Bitcoin BTC
25% Ethereum
20% Ripple
15% Bitcoin Cash
10% Litecoin
5% Nav Coin / Monero (for privacy)

Thoughts? (I also have another $10k in alts I play with)

Am I holding too little Bitcoin?  I feel like it might not go up as fast as the alts do to catch up.  Even ethereum might have more gains no?

The majority wont get rich so don't play the same game as the majority. Trust your own decisions.  :)

35% between Ripple and Bitcoin Cash seems too much for me. I understand
you are trying to obtain a certain protection or "insurance" but I would rather have
10% Bitcoin Cash and 5% Ripple maximum and redistribute the remaining 20% between Bitcoin and Ethereum
(probably 15% Bitcoin and 5% Eth)

Yeah I also think you are holding too little bitcoin as bitcoin might have good run like in 2017 this year too. Atleast hold 50% of your asset in bitcoin for safer growth but with other alts you might get more profit but risk will also be quite high.

You are only holding top and multiple coins so you have already diversified your risk.
