Since more and more people are getting to know about cryptocurrencies, i can't wait to se what will happen in the crypto markets in 2018. I want to talk about coins to hold through out 2018, till December ending. I am not into pump and damp coins.

Below is my list. Tell me which coins under $1 you will hold till the end of 2018. For me personally, I think investing $1000 each into these coins will bring a good ROI. I will want to check this thread next year by this time, so i will include there current prices, just to compare by the end of 2018.

Of course i am not an investment adviser. Full disclosure I hold these coins for a long term.

Cardano (Ada): currently at $0.4
Burst: currently at $0.063
Digibyte: currently at $0.065
Dogecoin: currently at $0.008
Bytecoin: currently at $0.063
Siacoin: currently at $0.028

Oyster Pearl PRL is the only coin I think that will give me good future hopefully. I got it from a signature bounty campaign so as I watch over the continuous price increase of the said  coin it has made me smile because I know that my. Future would be good with Crypto-Currency so I'm gonna hold it as long as I could.

There are actually thousands of coin whose price is under $1, price doesn't matter in crypto if there is huge supply of coin than its price will never get too high for example doge. It is quite old coin but still struggling to get over 1 cent.

Same goes for many other coins and tokens which are high in supply but demand for them is really low.

I heard a lot of noise about Siacoin and Cadano and I'm very anxious about why I waited a long time to invest. And I'm thinking I'm gonna invest a portion of my salary instead of saving it. Cadano ADA and Siacoin is the top on my list to be the next coins to get for a long time investment.

I have been looking into PRL lately, i agree is a good hold.

For me I won't look coins outside the coinmarketcap website because I believe those are really promising and although I know that some of those coins haven't listed yet but I know someday people would realize their importance and value. So, as of now Oyster Pearl will give me good future and I'm gonna invest more if time allows.

PRL indeed the top gainer of the week as coinmarketcap as reference. It is a good coin with a very good and effective project. I was amazed by the community particularly in Telegram group with over 3.6k members as.of this writing so I believe PRL will be somewhere in the top 100 coins next year.. Hopefully.

I perfectly agree with you that price don't matter. I just want to concentrate i they type of coin. I just like their 24 hour volumes and i think a lot of investor with a small investment budget will want to but these type of coins.

I think best one right now is probably doge. It has biggest market cap and it wasn't pumped enough. I plan to buy and hold some doge just for fun to see my folio rise.

yes that's what its all about. Some people are very serious when buying some coins, they are always looking for the perfect coin. I know of a story of a lady who bought some verge just for fan on January 1st 2017 when it was $0.000018. Today look at the price of verge now. Just think, about it a $100 investing in verge on January 1st 2017, 'just for fun', would have given you $1.5 Million dollars last week when very reached ATH $0.25. This is mind blowing!. check the stats on coinmarketcap.

I thinks buying some coins just for fun is a great idea.

Lol i do not know why there is dogecoin whose are dead, its price will not grow so it is the worst investment. The best option to invest will be siacoin in my opinion.

Some people said doge for hodl, that's funny. Nothing will change in the functionality of doge. So there is no reason for me to invest in it. It's a waste of time, money and source. Intead, Cardano is much better, or sonm maybe.

As much as I don't want to admit it I feel like ETN might actually be a decent one to hold on to. All their issues and they still somehow manage to keep a fairly positive following and their marketing is top notch. If they get their dev on the same level then I feel they'll probably rocket up there. Side note... I hold no ETN so I'm not a fanboy when it comes to them.

An excellent choice, to these coins, I would add another RChain (RHOC) - $0.68, which is currently only traded on Etherdelta https://etherdelta.com/#RHOC-ETH and its price will rise very soon.

Your list sucks at least 2 are gonna drop and at least one is a complete scam. Investing 1K in each will get you much less than is you keep it in BTC except for possibly 2 of those coins.

Don't forget to add TRX in this one. I am telling you, TRON will boom if you'll just hodl it for many years I think. Just try and do that and probably I can say that you could be a TRX millionaire by this.

stay away from alt coins that have billions and billions of supply. People think these coins will go to like $300 a coin. GTFO

best coin in my mind right now is prl. prl already increasing drastically its more than 1000% . there is a opportunity here. the value is 0.5 right now and i believe few month it will be 1 usd soon.

xlm stelar lumens is a bew bitcoin in my opinion . it had a good project and faster disburstment

BLUE - I like what they are trying to do by calling out potential scams and shady practices. I do however feel they need to set stricter guidelines as what counts as a scam. They called out TRX due to stop trade function in their code but it's obviously needed if they plan on doing a token swap in the future.

ADA- Lots of hype. I'm in it just for that.

XLM - I like what they're doing with micro payments.

Those coins have undervalued by some investors that's why it's price won't go far. Even though isn't recognized by the community but since it have a transactions happening in the market, a big chance it will boom and you've gonna earned big money from that. Much more if you hold a lot of coins. You just continue of what you have doing mate, because it surely you'll be heading into far-just be patience.

I've received some PRL during airdrop. Market cap looks pretty amazing. More is coming is 2018 just hodl you tokens. Once it hits big exchanges it will explode.

Stop looking at the decimal points. Whether a coin is trading at $0.001 or $1000 has no bearing on its ability to rise in price. There are no board lots and you can buy fractions of coins to the 18th decimal place. Market Cap is a much better indicator of upward limits on a price rise.

Your crypto price analysis is most viable one among others that is very realistic. Price is a function of demand and supply thus if the supply is greater than demand there's a likelihood that the price will decrease. A long supply curve is a determinant of a decrease price function. These are simple laws of basic economics. This economic relationship is what is creating the impact in the cryptocurrencies market. I totally agree with you about Cardano, Digibyte, and Siacoin. Both of them are good coin with impressive development in 2017. How's about Dogecoin? It is just stupid coin which is useless.

Good collection of undervalued coins and such coins are good when they have pretty high market cap. The later is important for its development and it also makes sure that coin is going to pop with new prices soon. Dogecoin recently gotten new hikes of 0.01 USD. That's not much but it shows that it is moving in first place. Same follow for other coins too and my stakes are on siacoin and bytcoin for long term investment. With small investment we can buy more coins and once they turn into some dollar value then that's huge return for our small investment. :-)

I agree with you. The proble with price under $1 or upper but the problem is the supply.
Choose the low price with low supply will have more chance to double.

Choose wisely never pick hastly and sometimes pick hardly that almost nothing goes on your standard. Why? It is better that way because you cant have regrets on something you like or want that much.

Why do so many people confuse price of a coin with value?  IMO you should never choose crypto based on its price- that just reflects how many coins they happened to mint.  Market cap is a better metric of value. 

How about coins to consider with market cap under $15 million? 

Most of the alt coins are under 1$ , i rather invest in projects that will solve a problem than speculate or project prices

As viable, probably XMR , Dogecoin and nothing else.
If you plan to make an investment in certain kind of valuable coins, look to not fall in pump and dump ones, there's a bunch of project
created lately and doing spam in the whole Altcoin section without holding a promising project or not showing anything related to at all, but still looking for peoples money.

if I personally hold two coins, namely XVG and AMM. because both coins are still below $ 1 and in 2018 both coins will increase to $ 1 or even more than $ 1

Why do you require under $1, the price does not mean anything whether the project is good or not, it also depends on how many tokens are released.

Thats a good choice, i also looking for altcoin i hold for long period of time and these coins woild be listed in my choices, my plan is to hold 10 to 15 coins for next year and i would sell in on december 2018. I will take the risk but the amount of capital is not too high that is why loss it is not big deal for me.

Good idea mate, i will try investing in this kind of strategy, i will search more altcoins and buy even 1 dollar each coin and hold for more than a year and i think i could get much higher income for this. Happy 2018 holding of coins my next year gives us good profit.

The above mentioned coins are the top Altcoins that are priced even lower but the market capital is very high. People are eyeing this kind of investment style buy buying bulk coins which are cheaper than most top coins. And hold it until if you think you earned already good profits. So, in my personal view, those coins would be a mist invest while they're cheaper and maybe you'll regret one day.

most of these coins mentioned in OP will be worth at least half their current value in a year from now because of how their supply is huge (such as Dogecoin and Bytecoin). that is their trend for years. they go lower and lower in long term, never recovering what they have lost.

i personally dislike long term holding of any altcoin but if you want to do it, at least do it with coins that have a big potential like WAVES, PIVX, GBYTE and maybe even IOTA.

I bought NAGA Coin (NGC).
It won't go down much probably, so I will hold it till move up..

Although they're cheap but the circulating and maximum supply is in Billions of coins and feels like it will never reach $1 in a single year. But it's a good investment though, no more good option but to hold them until time will come they're valued enough to makenyoi rich.

I would say Cardano on top of the list..is the most valuable project with a strong and valid team..
I am actually holding some ADA and i am pretty sure that the price will do at least a 2X in 2018.  ;)

I tried a similar strategy, although my dep was much less, invested in every order of $ 100. I bought cheap coins with the expectation of their growth, but most of them did not rise, and I sold them without earning them. Maybe it was not the best decision, but I could not stand it.

RPX (red pulse) has had the most amazing constant growth the last few weeks, i am expecting it to hit $1 by end of jan.
KCS (kucoin shares) i bought $600 of them 3 weeks ago and now they are worth $2000. they grow as kucoin exchange grows in numbers.
NMS (numus) a new masternode coin with amazing roi. cheap still now and an amazing buy at that price. i can expect it to x3 in the next month or so.

Don't forget about Tron guys. It is less than 4 cents USD right now. It got pumped by John McAfee but it has since corrected. Unfortunately, his tweets has hurt the project more than it helped I feel. Fortunately now, it has corrected and it is a great time to buy.

I have a small bag of Cardano but non of the others. Others under one dollar that I hold and hope they do hit one dollar are COB, COSS and i also bought a small bag of BITDEGREE and have a decent bag of BITCLAVE which sold out in minutes in its ICO and was ten cents ICO PRICE. I hope to collect more of these coins over the first quarter of 2018 in a big way by doing jobs and also buying up and hoping end of 2018 to be able to have a decent nest egg of some sorts, let's see what time will tell.

Cardano I bought when it was in hike movement but suddenly it dropped, right now I am in the loss but I hope in future it will grow up. Apart from this coin the best coin below $1 is NEM right now this is near $0.8 but if you buy and keep it for a couple of months, you can make a good profit. And what other coins you are telling I am aware of these coins.

I have to say that you have an excellent portfolio. These are actually the coins which one could hold for and aspire them to grow strong in future. I would have added ripple to the list but it has already crossed the dollar mark. Another addition I would make in it is the TRX coin or TRON.
PRL isn't something I would bid for the price raise which it experience was due to an accident. Hackers placed some fake orders when of this coin when they hacked Ether delta and the very next day it got listed on KUcoin where people bought it thinking it will moon. Soon they realized that they made a mistake and the price fell a bit but then it stabilized after the people who bought it expensive refused to sell. There is nothing interesting in the project as of now.

Many altcoins are very affordable todayin the market. But the thing is, will they even make it on the 3rd querter in 2018? Some are even here few years back but still struggling to rise up. I still hope for the best on litcoin, ripple, and probably oyster pearl. My friend has been holding PRL few months now and the result is very amazing. I might as well join him.

Just holding Cardano would be enough already to give splendid returns. But with the other altcoins you will have even more profits. With $1000 on each of these coins your future is ensured.

Not a bad list of coins, but it's interesting to know why you chose the exact same coins, because there are a lot of them, in my opinion there are more interesting coins.

I have all the coins you mentioned here, I am going to hold them for a long time .

Cardano seems growing with a high potential gaining a good market. The same will continue to happen even with the falling year, apart from this I believe more ico projects will come up with better results on their ico, letting the cryptocurrency users benefit through holding for an year from now.

You need to watch capitalization, not price. Because it will not grow without reasons, if it just cost 0.065. And of course what kind of project is that.

I suggest you to hold Scorecoin, and Digibyte. DGB will go good this year and SCORE just got masterndodes so you can ear decent from them too.

I think you got a potential portfolio to have best ROI in upcoming months. All these coins are well-known and highly acceptable in crypto-market.
Cardano, Siacoins has already performed outstandingly in last few days, now I believe it time for dogecoin to touch the moon. You can also add KUcoin, monero and verges in your portfolio, they also got a great potential to grow in upcoming months

I suggest Hold Trx atleast $1 i know this coin has a very potential coin it will pump huge and Justin SUn said in his post that he will announce a big partnership with a big companies, but i guess back of traders mind that Jack Ma is behind this project.

Knowing what you will invest and hold until the end of 2018, I really see you have a lot of experience in investing in crypto. In that list I really care and enjoy Bytecoin, this crypto in the future will be very potent. Tao has been investing and mining Bytecoin for a long time, also holding and wait until Bytecoin is up x100 rates compared to the current. With the remaining crypto in the list, I see Dogecoin increase in the exchange rate is not high because the crypto index in 2014 that to the current exchange rate has not yet reached 1 dollar.

I'm getting really tired of newbies who just pick a coin under 1 dollar and expect massive returns. It's not about the price, it's the market cap.

Still, regardless of this people will continue to pump the ever living crap out of coins becausse of their cheap price. Just go take a look at DCN.

Doge, nxt, or xlm. potential despite only small coins, in addition to the third coin is very suitable when used to invest in the long term as well as short. If you want maximum results then of course use for the long term.

This is not the Stockmarket, there are no board lots, It does not cost more if you buy less than a hundred coins.
In fact most coins can be divided to 16 decimal places.

The list you are giving makes up a really good set of altcoins. Cardano (ADA) is sure to get past $1 very soon. There are no arguments with that because this coin has been very bullish ever since it entered the crypto market. Digibyte (DGB), Dogecoin (Doge), Siacoin (SC) are also very solid altcoins. They have so huge volumes and are included in the top. They will become bigger as well. Bytecoin (BCN) is just a little lower than Siacoin (SC). It will be easy for this altcoin to grow. Burst though have yet to perform better.

Now there are a lot of undervalued coins below $ 1, some of them are really shitcoins and they do not cost anything at all and will never be on the move. But if you choose from such coins, I would advise you to consider coins that are very actively developed and are receiving increasing demand. I have one in mind such a Signatum.

Look closely to Cardano (ADA), now price is $0.98. But now prices of almost all coins and tokens are very high. The best way now to search a good ICO projects.

You have a nice list, but I would like to suggest to go even lower, where the scam coins are located. Try to buy coin that are 0.000001$, that's what everyone is doing now.

Cardano (ADA) and Tron are good options, and safe as well. Both coins are in top 100 coinmarketcap list. You should give it a look and decide for yourself.

I would like to add Coindash Token (CDT) to that list of coins to HOLD until December 2018, the project is progressing well post ICO and they are planning the trading platform launch quite soon. Currently at 23c since starting from ICO last August at 3c

not sure Dogecoin should be on this list, way too risky as it keeps coming up and down all the time and there is no real unique solving problem behind it

Autonio was shilled recently and it went from below 0.10$ to 0.80$ in a few days. Do your own research tho. I think the project has a decent future.

I hope on Electroneum(ETN) but it has strange behavior in the recent times. I don't understand why they don't list on big exchanges, it is very important for cryptocurrency.

Digibyte: I'm not sure about it, a shaky coin
Dogecoin: the year of the dog is possible and this coin will surprise us

Siacoin: this one can surprise us with its finished product, I bought it for a long time
