I went to the site and read the descriptions and contents, It sure is promising. so, the location or challenge is determined at which location you are at the moment and at the closest one to you. It is then worldwide, whenever there is a challenge at that place you just Take a picture and that Completes the challenge. Aside from Obtaining Tokens you Enjoy the view there also.

The website lists that "We are discussing with several popular exchanges about listing SnapTokens for sale on these tokens" so can we expect some bigger exchanges like Bittrex, Binance and Bitfinex or is the project first planning to take on the smaller exchanges like EtherDelta, HitBTC, etc.

The project is certainly different. The concept of exploring places in a form of Game which rewards you with tokens for visiting places sounds enthralling.


The website says 15 Days 14 Hours left for the token sale, I haven't invested my Ethereum in any ICO in past but honestly, I am tempted to invest in this one.

It is awsome project and innovations in gaming based on the blockchain and crypto as currency in the game, the most i like from this project with snapcity i can make challenge and share my experience when i go anywhere (Cities, village and something other interesting)  to my friends and other people on the game and this project is support for smartphone too, as we know all of people around the world almost have smartphone. It will be more sucessfull in couples months later in my personal opinions.

SnapTokens are an ERC20 token and therefore can be stored in Ethereum wallets.

One of our investors pointed out that on Metamask the token symbol comes as SNPT-Y and on MEW (MyEtherWallet) it is found under SNPTY.

I think the hardcap should always be in dollar amount to ensure that everyone gets fair share. Someone who bought in a ico with 1 ether when it was 300 dollars whereas now it is 1000 dollars to get same tokens just doesnt seem fair.

Hi, I'm not entirely sure what you're asking here. But I think it is, "How will we ensure the price stays the same across all the exchanges?". This is a difficult question to answer since even BTC and ETH has price variations across exchanges. But basic market structure will mean that when one exchange gets a long way out of line, there will be people who will arbitrage it away (i.e buy on the cheap exchange and sell on the expensive exchange, until the difference goes away).

Couple of questions:

1. What is the incentive of investing in pre-sale vs ICO? Is it just 10% more token?
2. In the whitepaper, the categories of tokens have different sets of cities, whereas in your FAQ, it says that red will be valid everywhere, orange will be less widely accepted and yellow is least widely accepted. Which statement is true?
3. Why create three categories of token instead of just one, and use different quantities?

Yes the contract address is the same as the token address. The contract is the token for the ICO. It has functions which accept ETH and then transfer SnapTokens to the sender (of ETH).

1. Go to Etherscan and find your earliest pending transaction. Note the nonce and your from address.
2. Go to https://myetherwallet.com, and select the offline transaction tab.
3. Enter your from address.
4. Send 0 ETH to any address of your choosing.
5. For gas limit, use 150000.
6. For gas price, use a higher gas price than what you used before. 30 gwei should be good.
Note: 50 gwei is 50000000000 wei (that's 9 more zeros after the 30).
Check ethgasstation.info for current gas estimates, as 30 might be too low/high at a certain moment.
7. Enter the nonce you got from Etherscan.
8. Import your private key.
9. Sign the transaction.
10. Send the transaction. It should overwrite your previous one.
11. Repeat as necessary to overwrite other pending transactions with low gas prices.

Thanks a lot - yes I am following the same procedure now. I thought 20 Gwei was enough, and hence was surprised. Looks like gas price has increased ;-)

So far we’ve raised over 10 ETH in the direct sale, you can see it on our contracts. We’ve also received 3 investments in Fiat currency from a firm in the Netherlands of approximately 5k each. So you could say we’ve raised around 25-30ETH. Additionally we have made some payments for advertising etc in SnapTokens which has not been added to the ETH raised but easily could be since we saved several ETH by paying in SnapTokens.

I think it is incorrect to give 10% bonus to early adopters, but bump it up later who are coming late. Just sayin' ... usually it is the other way.

Tokens awarded for challenges.

Back on page 15, you suggest giving 100 SnapTokens to the first 100 people to take a picture at the London Eye or 250 SnapTokens if you take a picture at the Colosseum within the next 10 minutes. I know that was just brainstorming, but I just want to voice my objection to the amount of SnapTokens that are suggested to be awarded for those tasks.

Considering it was suggested that the SnapTokens could be worth $1 after the ICO is completed, giving someone $100 or $250 for basically being in the right place at the right time is to high. I could see using right place right time "challenges" to grow app use and get the SnapTokens ball rolling, but I would think that a 10th of those proposed amounts would be plenty, especially if we are aiming for a $1 valuation right off the hop once the ICO ends.
