Do you think the price of Cardano is ok?

I think the price of Cardano is much too high. What do you think?

I think most of the features are still in development. The coins are listed only on some exchanges.

The quantum resisdent algorithm is not realy strong compared to the QRL chain.

What else any secret?

I am struggling to see the reasons behind the current cardano pump, I can't see any strong reason... but hey, that's how crypto works ;)

I think the coin is pumped! No substance.

Cardano scales better than ethereum. Worth looking into and understanding better. Can't say for sure, but looks like a better thought through project, main DEV was a DEV in Ethereum actually.....

Lol about the quantum resistant and it's still BS, not sure if that was a real thing. So many people are discussing that. About the scalability comparison doesn't mean a lot caused by it can be hardfork to make an improvement to the network. But it's not enough to make a comparison between ethereum and cardano.

Of course not, it is highly-overvalued. but that is it, the people is still buying it so = the price will keep going up.


It is because this altcoin has been hyped numerous times in here, and a lot of people said that they were engadged with Google, and it was fake.


The price is high, the project is still on development, but anyway, the project sounds good and we all know that, and during the next year this coin will be on the top 5 of coinmarketcap.

Cardano just lucky to be pump, and it's not really famous among crypto users, and to compare it with eth I think it's too far, eth is already a strong coin,  many project using eth as token , cardano is not even near that part yet, Cardano still need time to proved it's usage, Cardano is a good coin to make profit but the coin still got no support from big company

The current way the block-chain is implements won't scale, created CPU wars and PoW is using so
much electric that it's warming up the earth

Miners (Monopoly on BTC) and bankers are happy but clients are not due to speeds and costs
so maybe that's why the price is trading sideways and others are taking over and I hope Segwit2x
does well tomorrow and it sends a clear message to the BTC dev team to get it's finger out and
to stop working with the bankers

I don't know about Cardano I have not look on it yet, but so many new coming out, where supporters shouting this is the new coin that will replace ethereum or bitcoin but they are just threat to the positions of these two top cryptocurrency

Agree. Cardano has still a long journey to compete with ethereum platform. Eth has already proven to be useful in smart contract projects. While cardano has yet to prove their claims. Few months from now, we will see if this coin is not just a hype only but if it has really good backing.

May be. But, for this, exchanges must replace in ether currency pairs an etherium on cardano. In this I strongly doubt.

I think the current price is ok. And I expect it will reach 1 dollar soon. There are few reasons I think Cardano will succeed beside technology. Many people treat coins as something fun for "geek". This is also true for Ethereum. However, Cardano's approach is totally different. It is first launched in Japan even before ICO in this forum and listed in exchange just like what many other coins will do. Cardano directly approached people in Japan, showcased to them and educated them. Even today, Cardano is spending the time to host workshops to educate users. These are the real techniques for mass adoption. How many will other coins here do that? So Cardano is not only advance in certain technologies but they are doing more to integrate into the normal user lives.

The coin takes the sixth place in terms of capitalization. But for some coin to take the place of the ether, it is necessary that exchanges remake currency pairs and transfer coins to ADA. And it will not be very soon.

Cardano is indeed different from most.
It is not focussing on becomming popular, it is focussing on becomming good (or even the best).
Question is if they can manage the expected targets they've set, if so, than this will be the new generation in blockchain technology and than the sky will be the limit for its valuation.  If it will not succeed, of course no need to explain that there won't be much glory.
At this point I'm rather positive given the huge qualified team behind it as well as the investors from HongKong to push this in the good direction without putting high pressure for quick return.
We could call it the academic approach, a bit more slow and less exited but at the end the math fits and then they'll have succeeded.  Time will tell
Check their whitepaper in detail and see if you feel to agree or not.

I don't know if cardano have any secret but I only think that cardano is good coin because cardano is a new coin that is trying to get top ten positions in coinmarketcap. and actually, I am amazed at this coin because in a short of time, this coin is listed on top twenty and even I already see that cardano in top ten coins in coinmarketcap. I don't know what makes cardano different because I am not yet read all about the project. but I think cardano have the chance to replace ethereum in the future and I will make sure myself to follow the journey.

the rising price of cardano must have a reason maybe its a new coin with a new development who knows but i will tell what i think it wont happen i dont think it will ever replace ethereum , ethereum is the best coin in the smart contract area for now ... maybe there are some hidden stars no buddy knows about but it's not cardano

It is too early to compare Ethereum to Cardano they haven't prove anything yet. The price might pumped up but you know crypto, it is only temporary if it is not a natural growth in value. Sooner or later there is always somebody who will replace its place.

Yes Cardano price is very overrvalued. I think it has a hype same as Neo just a few months ago. 6th position at coinmarketcap is just too high for Cardano imho. I do not say that it is a bad coin and pricing is different as all you know

No! Cardano will never replace the ethereum, it is too far from ethereum. This Cardano is not anonymous for him to replace the ethereum and it will never beat the price of ethereum in the market. It is so impossible to happen even its value is overvalue and this is not the right time to compare that to ethereum.

The amount of investments for Cardano is not going to be the same as the amount of investments inisde of Ethereum.
Ethereum is a long term coin, I am not sure if Cardano can make it 5 years.

While the price of Cardano is rising, the price of Ethereum will also increase.
It is not so easy to grow the Cardano, Ethereum is a very good project and it will keep its popularity for a long time. Both are good investments.

In terms of smart contracts, it's hard to get ahead of it, and Cardano is no exception, but it's likely that the size of the block and the speed of the transfer is likely to exceed eth's.

ETH is a legit project. Cardano is a pump and dump shitcoin.

Truly, I think that is impossible, Cardano will replace Ethereum.It is too much early that compare Cardano with ETH. Cardano at present in development phase and required most of things to be proved . ETH is a strong coin and stable then Cardano. Many project using ETH as token and more trusted among users.

ADA has good developments from the past months developers are working hard,plus the technology is promising it can overtake ETH in the future but not in the near future.

Cardano is a decent coin that grows and is trustworthy, however I doubt that it will catch Ethereum. First of all, Ethereum is more than a currency, it's also a huge promising platform for other services. Secondly, Cardano costs way less than ethers, it will take a lot of time to catch Ethereum.

IMO Cardano is a long term investment. It's early stages still, and there are a lot of challenges ahead of the team. However, IF they do manage to pull it off, it'll be huge. Bigger than ETH. Bottom line, this is not a coin to hodl for a few of months. The right perspective here is >1-2 years

I think Cardano and also the very new altcoins like IOTA it is just a big bubble.

IOTA because Robert Bosch are now invested. Bosch is always too late, so I think this is a very big bubble.

Absolutely not, There is a big difference between Ethereum and Cardano. Such as, the price of ETH is $719 and the value of ADA is very low ($0.3) also there is a huge disparity between their market cap and the Volume too.
In otherwise, thought that the value of Ethereum was  decreased with a small value in the last period, but for Cardano in last week there was a significant drop by 21%.

I think Cardano is just at the beginning of it's journey. It has a lot of potential to overcome Ethereum and this goes for pretty much any new ICO from the 3rd Generation.

Its too early to judge if Cardona could replace Ethereum, Cardano is a young coin and still need more steady development. It's going to be though if it replaces Ethereum, Ethereum has taken a heart from the community and have the trust from it.

Cardano is definitely a very promising project, but I don't think that there is might be a platform that can replace Ethereum because Ethereum has a strong community and developers.

I think eventually if Cardano keeps progressing the way it has been it's going to be more popular than Ethereum. There's a lot of hype around Ethereum right now but lots of companies are switching from the Ethereum platform to platforms like Stellar.

For me, the ethereum is still the second best coin among out there next to the king Bitcoin. Because this is just a sudden pumped in the priced of Cardano which is why they are already speculating that it could replace or surpassed ethereum. But still, if you think through the coin which has the most potential in alternative coins is still etherium.

Price wise, it is hard to tell. However, Ethereum is definitely stronger than Cardano in terms of tech. Ethereum's ecosystem is just much more matured than other platforms.

Yes we couldnt tell all, the cardano supply is huge. But the price of cardano is increasing its value, but literally I will go for Ethereum as the best investment for me. Ethereum surely price is increasing most by next year.

A centralized coin. The Circulating Supply is only about 38% of the total supply. Ripple can each day modify the crculation supply. This is not like Ethereum.

I don't think Cardano will ever replace Ethereum.  Many people have never even heard of Cardano.  It is only traded on a handful of exchanges.  Ethereum is the most popular altcoin at the moment and is traded on every exchange in the cryptocurrency markets.

I have heard some times yet the gossips or just idle talks about some unpopular currencies that somehow are going to replace Ethereum or even Bitcoin. This is really strange thing, some kind of promotion I suppose.

Ethereum and cardano were vary on the way they have been developed. Being a varied platform cardano keeps growing without any form of corrections taking place. Even now the price stands high above 0.65$, maybe this could overcome the market capital of ethereum. Another hand ethereum has a strong backing, because it has served as the platform for majority of the successful ico.

EOS has a better chance of replacing ETH IMO

After I saw how far Ripple went, I think Cardano is not far from there either. It went from 0.02$ to 0.55$ in no time. Soon enough will be over Ethereum and why not, Bitcoin.

But it looks not even better than cardano itself. How cardano was starting after eos and then it goes to the moon right now. In fact that all of them still on the development progress and this thread is pure speculative and then this should go to the speculation section of altcoin.

As far as I know, the combination of 1) proof-of-stake with theoretical proof instead energy-consuming proof-of-work together with 2) better language for smart contracts and 3) a strong dev team might attract enough money to get to a market cap comparable to that of Ethereum now. That's a reasonable long-term gain for anybody investing at the moment.

ADA is ETH killer, it will eventually replace ETH with its speed of the transactions and unique other feathers. Chris has given few youtube interviews over the weekend, you should search on youtube for more insights on ADA and why everyone is betting on ADA rather than ETH.

I think the cardano price is not too high and can still rise even higher, because it's coin cardano itself I think can rival bitcoin

I am big supporter of Cardano and have invested a lot in it. But I can not imagine ever relapsing Etherium.
South Korea is evolving into an Ethereum powerhouse with a growing number of active developments and projects.
Etherium is moving forward as well and will stay ahead of Cardano.

maybe. maybe in the next few years cardano will replace etherum. we see from the good side only, the more new crypto that appears to compete with bitcoin, we can use it for investment. whether it's cardano, or etherum, the most important is getting a profit.

It is very hard to predict whether Cardano will replace Ethereum or not.

However, I think what IOHK and Charles Hoskinson's team are doing with their Cardano project is amazing. Their team is stellar, probably one of the best teams I have seen in the cryptospace. And the way they have approached first generation BC shortcomings, from a research perspective, peer-reviewing everything that they plan to implement, is just amazing. Although Cardano has a lot to prove, I am very excited to see what they bring forth over the next couple of years.

Finally, Cardano's success should not mean competition with Etehreum. Ethereum itself is evolving and will only get better with time. So I believe that with global adoption of BC technology there will be more than one or two public BC platforms co-existing, instead of one ruling the world.

I have read lots of posts on both sides at seem valid.  Ethereum and Cardano will BOTH do well.  In my opinion Cardano will not replace Ethereum.  Ethereum is a juggernaut.

actually, I am not sure about this but this could happen if the dev and the team of cardano work serious for their project and they continue the project as they want. I think in cryptocurrency world, everything has the possibility to happen and only a matter a time that will prove. if one coin is really good then people will take a look and choose as their investment and this is what we see with bitcoin as bitcoin is a leader in cryptocurrency. so I think if we want to buy cardano, then we can buy right now while the price is cheap.

Probably not. Ethereum is a working product -- a moving target-- and Cardano is fairly new to crypto and offers revolutionary technology to compensate for that. But what it offers is not enough, the price is just due to speculation and imo, it is over-valued at the moment.

Cardano coin can not replace to the ethereum at any condition in the market because there are so many reasons to run the any coin in the market and ethereum is the second one coin which have very good market value in the crypto world which is the big achievement. I dont think so, but ETH is one of the strong coin supported by millions of users, and i believe that after the fork, it will continue to soar its value compared to previous weeks in the market.

It was unclear 1 year ago, it's unclear now and it will be so for a looong long time. It's very hard to beat the leader on any market, especially here, because ETH is only one smart contract platform that works, really works. It has scalability issues and Ethereum foundation should solve all of them one day.

The Cardano has lost greatly.. The price was $1.15 one year ago and if you check it now it is $0.049551! It has fall more than 23 times, and it sounds crazy! ADA price will raise this for sure but i am not sure for the replacement. The Ethereum has huge platform and it needed more than ADA do. Lets say the Cardano price will raise and recommend to buy it. This market is so valatile, we can't predict  anything .So recently I've been reading some posts, and many people seem to think that Cardano is a good investment.
Personally, it doesn't seem to be very unique nor has as much potential as other crypto has Usually there are so many altcoins that are good to invest and one of this is the Cardano coin.Many investors want to invest this coin as this is so low and affordable so we can have a good profit from it.

I think that ADA will not replace Ethereum because they have nothing in common. Technologies are completely different. I think both coins have a future.

Hard to say but it could be possible. Every coin has a chance to replace Ethereum especially for underestimate coins which people don't have. But to prove this, the teams of the project will need to hard work and give the best to the coins and the community so they can know that the coin has a chance to beat and increase the level at CMC. Cardano needs to lift the price before Cardano can compete with Ethereum, but like what I say, everything could happen in the cryptocurrency market.

   Ethereum is huge. Cardano can`t replace Ethereum just like that, they need to offer something really big for that. Ethereum now is the leading
platform, I think it will be there for a while.
   It`s not easy to overthrown Ethereum. Maybe, but just maybe some platform can do that in the future. I will hold my Ethereums like I will buy

I don't think a project can replace ethereum with ease in the nearest future the network effects of ether is so huge no one can replicate it before it's scale :)

At the moment, the price of Cardano is too high. Cardano doesn't have the technical and financial support to keep the price down.

Cardano has no opportunity not only to overtake, but even catch up with Ethereum in its functionality!

This is the price of Cardano at present. This is not too high. Now it is almost in the low bottom. It needs to grow high and in recent days the attention has turned towards cardano because of the Shelby update. Ethereum will not be replaced by cardano, also it has got good financial and development team without which it isn't possible to be on the top list of altcoins.

We don't know how it will be in the future, but I don't think it will be in the near future. Cardano is just a project without a large-scale application.

If this is possible, it will be in the future but at present eth is still the network of choice for many project, ethereum network has host a lot ico's and will still continue to be choice of many project, reason why it's 2-3 on cmc, Cardano on the other hand still building it's network, nothing has been certain yet, the gap interms of development is wide, so eth will still continue to be ahead.

Ethereum remains a very valuable part of crypto. I'm not sure Cardano can compete with ethereum. Because ethereum in my opinion a very extraordinary platform for now. When compared to Cardano, I don't think it can replace ethereum any time.

I think that the Cardano project has a chance to make a serious competition to ethereum. The team of ethereum is constantly postponing the dates of the renewal of the platform It is not clear when ethereum will switch to POS. Cardano developers are very advanced in their developments. They build connections with different states. This is very useful for the development of the platform.

I think its not possible nobody can replace the position of ethereum because after bitcoin ethereum comes in 2nd position from start & everybody have full trust on it.

If they are smart, they would have come up with more developments and cardano would have grown beyond the stage it is.
Most times, it is not just about how smart the team is, they could be smart, but may not be active and may not bring up new and innovative ideas that will aid mass adoption.
The coin has good potential considering its use case, yet there should be updates for more relevance.

Honestly I think ETH still strong holding it's position as second in the cmc. Cardano is good as well but i think it won't replace eth.

There is no any bases to say that Cardano will replace Ethereum. Ethereum is still strong platform now and far future ahead. I think both will grow together in cryptocurrency ecosystem
