Title: Should I spent $10,000 on XVG tomorrow?
Post by: COLT601 on December 28, 2017, 02:42:40 AM
I have a $10,000 wire hitting coinbase tomorrow. If XVG is still under 900 sat should I make the buy and set a stop loss for 600 sat?  What would you do?

I sort of think XVG holders are getting fucked but the promise is it will be released before the end of the year and XVG Whale seems pretty convincing in his videos. So definitely a calculated gamble.... lots of risk but a huge upside.

Sort of like calling a hand of Texas Holdem with a Jack 5 when you're the button and everyone else has made the call... never know the investment could be worth the risk.

IMO, no way. Now, if $10k is say only 5% of your YOLO money, then sure go for it. But, isn't there tons of drama going on right now with this coin. Also, a coin 30x in a few weeks, lol, talk about a pump.

This is solely my opinion, as I am invested in Verge.

There is no doubt it can go both ways. In the world of cryptocurrency i am fundamentally against stop-loss due to the high swings in the market. (Special thanks to the grotesquely unsympathetic McAfee and his pump and dump broodlings, who can get you a fast profit or loss) I buy at a price I am satisfied with and HODL if I believe in a long time gain. If I dont believe in a long time gain, I stay away.

When it comes to Verge, I am invested around 2k. I invested at around 1300 sat, so on paper my investment is cut in half. However, I feel there are people bearing the price, which could indicate that there are something good in store with Wraith Protocol and a serious bull run under way.

You might see your investment cut in half, but it doesn't really matter in the short run. Takes a solid stomach though.

XVG is shady coin.

It gave a huge profit but they kept moving releasing dates 3 times I guess.
I also wouldnt listen to whales as they need to move price up to discharge their bags on YOU enthusiasts :)

All crypto had huge gains no pump

In fact the fake news Xmas day let a whale get 14% stake

I like the vision, real anonymous blockchain

Tor

It's a pic of top 20 crypto to soar by Dr. Adoni aka the prophet

It's in his public feed tomorrow

If you pay for advance emails you know it's one of the four runners he picked for big gains due to they have vision

I read in couple of group that the xvg is not as good as its advertised (scam thing)they give some links. I do not hold XVG so I do not dig more.
I understand that my idea could cause confusion but I suggest you dig little more before invest. $10,000 is really big for me.

Context is important. If $10k is all you have in the world then no. If you're Bill Gates then you'll make more than that in the time it takes me to write this post.

I am not sure if investing all that much on a coin that is already up 1800% in the last 30 days is a good idea, maybe it is a bit overbought? but then again, this is crypto, it could double or triple again from here!!

I would rather invest on investment on Bitcoin gold and ethereum and will  spend 500 on XVG thereby all the  principal is intact.

No one knows the price of tomorrow, so no one can give you a real opinion. If you decide, invest in it and set a stop and check point.

No that's like jumping from a high rise building lol. Diversify it into older coins, say ETH, LTC, ZEC, DCR, NXS, WAVES. Then maybe have like 1-5% of it for gambling into lower caps that you think have potential

Here’s the thing. If wraith is released in 2017 it will make a profit. If not, it will soon be worth 1000 usd.

As the man says, diversify and bring your risk down. Much better for your mental stability. Good solid coins with good backers, solid roadmaps, guys who were successful in their other projects.

I'm in for $500, so I immediately lost $200. :) I'm going to stick with it until the end of 2018. It's had recent drama but it's a big player in the privacy coin space which is a good space to invest in.

Don't invest in anything that's dependent on the market always going up / always getting new investors.

Dont do it if you do not want to lose your money, verge has already increased a lot during the last few weeks, and it seems that it is going back to their normal levels. So if you want to invest, it would be pure gamble, nothing more than that.

Verge was pumped by Mcafee... Look what he is doing now. It is a great coin and the wraith protocol sounds and looks great but i wouldnt go i lnvesting 10k although remember no risk no reward... Why dont you have a look at some other ICOs that you can pump your cash into? The risk is alot less and you have the chance of trippling your money if you find the right ico.

mCaffee already wrought that price is too high for this coin, he predicted the lower price for XVG.

LoL, is that Mr. John McAfee's coin? If you're going to invest in bulk and if it never comes back into the higher price it used to be then you're unlucky.
But if it recovers then congratulations.
For me, I'm getting rid out of Mr. McAfee's tweets because he's robbing young investors while he's being paid and multiplying his assets in a most stupid way.

Instead of XVG, invest in Siacoin and Oyster Pearl because even without Mr. John McAfee's tweets these coins will guarantee your investment will doubled or tripled after few months or a year.

You should've spent it when it was few sats. It has already stretched as far as it could go. It's a good coin but overpriced as of now. It was less than 1 cent 20 days ago.

It is a large amount of money, and no one can tell you the answer here, you can only judge by yourself, even if someone give you an answer, will you follow?

Buy 100,000 XVG. Put the rest in Ripple. My advice. So I would do it.
