Because it is a joke and an attack on Bitcoin causing drama, confusion and uncertainty, mostly for people newe to crypto.

No coin should be called Bitcoin anything, there's only one Bitcoin. Should have called it something like Bitcash, but no, they wanted to advertise it riding the coattail of Bitcoin.

Yes, same devs and same coin owners, just waiting for someone willing to buy copies of their coins with a discount.

It's not the same developers behind the bitcoin cash. It looks pity to see how so many shill behind the bitcoin cash itself. Rather than doing a healthy competition and bitcoin cash developers are trying to make a lot of FUD to the bitcoin.
It's true if the bitcoin cash gets a lot of the backed in various things, especially in the community. But another important hardfork rather than bitcoin cash will come and that's segwit 2x.

BCH is not a joke, you can see the BCH team in the global promotion capabilities, and at least for now, miners dig BCH profits far more than the profits of mining BCT. However, BCH is still an altcoin.

It's because of what they are doing, everybody don't like their plan and goal of taking over bitcoin. And what's funny is that they are calling bitcoin as bitcoin core and they want bitcoin cash as 'bitcoin'. Isn't that a joke? They are looking for their fork coin as something that's original which is just a copy cat of the real thing. They are getting much hate from the community and we can't blame the people for having that judgement on them.

They just took the brand 'Bitcoin' and did a hard fork in order to gain money. This has nothing to do with Satoshi's vision.

im not gonna say they is joke, but is kinda have to many drama, like you ever heard that they say gonna replace bitcoin it self ? do you thinks that posible ? is not right, so yeah, sad.

Agree, the best joke is they self-claiming their own Bitcoin Cash as the real bitcoin, and think Bitcoin as Bitcoin Core. Actually, I don't understand, they think Bitcoin is now different with Bitcoin whitepaper, while they are forking a new one and abandoned the real Bitcoin who built by Satoshi Nakamoto.

Because Bitcoin Cash is too focused on being the real Bitcoin and their promotion is not healthy , even I find more FUD from their community than news about receiving Bitcoin Cash as payment

It's mainly because that coin is trying to change Bitcoin by kind of stating that Bitcoin is a copy of their coin.

Because for many it offers no purpose and is nothing more than a copy of bitcoin which is being pushed to disrupt bitcoin and for some greedy developers personal gain. They are hurting bitcoin for their own benefit.

Because it is a joke, no one can take this coin in consideration as a "real" altcoin or a good replacement for bitcoin because we all know that this coin is an empty truck claiming to be more faster than the one who is full.

I think the bitcoin cash is not a joke, there are some advantages over the bitcoin technically, since we know the bitcoin network is very crowded and some coins based on this network such as USDT makes it very busy, I think the bitcoin cash has a faster speed.

I think BCH is a try to make the network as centralized as possible under the title of solving the btc blockchain issues; remember that not everybody supports it that it also has many issues like the block size xhich is over estimation with 8mb then the possibility of attacks and double spend may occur at any time.

I feel upset with that coin and on its dev as well. I also feel sorry for making roger ver the owner of Bitcoin.com . I wish Satoshi secure everything before he hide. Their chart is so unusual, many skilled trader agreed that BCH's chart is not natural and manually pumped.

a joke?probably not at all. althou they have the same team as BTC, it doesn't mean it's piece of junk.  it only means they just trying to do more business with a brand new coin.  and hey, with the brand new marketing style they're quite succeed now, aren't they? there'll be a lot more movement from this coin, and trading volume's also good. so, I think it's not a joke at all.

no one treat bch as a joke, if you treat the top3 market cap coin as a joke, then you maybe a joker, bitcoin has too many problems, i am glad to see some coin which can resolve the problems on some scale

I don’t know anyone who treat Bitcoin Cash as funny unserious thing. Telling the truth when it was airdropped, at the beginning of its development I had thought about this coins like just about clones. But not now.

Actually the devs brought it as a competitor to the bitcoin and thats the reason bitcoin fans dont like it that much,

Ver is one of the pioneer investors in bitcoin and has been an avid supporter of bitcoin before but after his first attempt with Bitcoin Unlimited that no one did really bought into his idea now he's starting another round of attempt with bitcoin cash.

Bitcoin cash's is just a fork coin and most of us treating it as an altcoin no other than that.

Well bch attempted to overturn bitcoin. Its not impossible to do thst but claiming to be better than biycoin is just fsr too much. And ver telling the world that bch is bitcoin is just too much of a ponzi scheme. Its not gonna gain respect over existing investors.

Because it is nothing more than just a fork of Bitcoin with no added functionalities but just the block size increased. Also it is being promoted in a shady way by people like Roger Ver who are calling it Bitcoin itself when clearly it isn't that but just an altcoin. Also only one Bitcoin can survive and the community has chosen the one they want and it isn't Bitcoin cash.
