By simply posting once a day. That's the maximum efficiency. Read the stickies.

Activity is updated/increased with 14 every two weeks on tuesday. For every period that you post in you get ~14 potential activity ( 1 period = 2 weeks interval).

Meaning that 14/2 weeks = ~1 activity each day. (which you will get by simply making 1 post.)

So, does it mean it takes 30 days to reach activity 30?

Yes.

The highest activity is one per day...
Spamming or posting more will just increase your post count, but wont increase your activity.

How is forum activity calculated?

Activity is calculated with the following formula:

Code:
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Activity is increased by staying logged in or by posting and is updated every 30 minutes. There is a maximum of 14 activity points every 2 weeks.

Go through this thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0 to learn more about different ranks on the forum and activity required to achieve it. Also, Various limitations on sending PMs or delay in posting consecutive posts reduces as you rank up.

Remember, On this forums, Rank is gained not by Posts but by the time you spend on the forum, In order to receive 14 activities in every period, You need to post atleast once every 14 Days.

Welcome to the forum and Goodluck.

I have made a calculator when you are going to rank up based on your registration date. Check this post with more details: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2534500.msg25841174#msg25841174

If you find any mistakes let me know :)

The Rank and Activity points calculator (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2534500.0) will help you get an idea of when you might level-up if you post once a day.

The only post on one Topic per day is the best for increasing the activity. Also, reply according to the Topics.
