Title: [WATCHES] Raketa Watches: Who said you can't buy anything with bitcoins ?
Post by: Boussac on August 01, 2013, 12:00:48 PM
While I heard the question often until recently, there are more and more btcoin-friendly merchants every day.

I just bought a watch from a well known russian watch manufacturer who has started accepting bitcoin payments in July.
The delivery took a little while (two weeks from Moscow to Paris) but turned out to be flawless with tracking number and all.

The web shop displays the bitcoin logo on its home page (http://world.raketa-shop.com).

Here is the watch:

For the record, I paid 3.67 Bitcoins, shipping included, on Juy 11 (tx id = 0d2c57fd151368fb56266be480df8a399ebb5f50625d3f7fccef8ceb4abb40bf )

As long as other online watch retailers are NOT accepting Bitcoins, I'll probably stick to Raketa watch only.
Reply with your own experience of buying consumer goods for bitcoins from established web shops..
