I just remember that back in 2014-2015 this kind of thing is really popular. A fair launch, a coin that pop out of no where with no specific roadmap but well yeah this kind of thing is not really 2017-2018 thing anymore. People have gone long past this point. There probably wont be alot that is going to mine these coins when the miners are busy with tons other out there

Hello DEV. Your coin is not really eye-catching, it lacks a lot of information, such as whitepaper, roadmap, team dev, programs bounty, twitter, facebook, ...

Adding social links to the announcement now, and this is simply a litecoin clone but with a few changes to the starting parameters. It is not meant to be game changing or anything, but the main feature is that there is no premine so it is a straight and fair launch.

It looks great with interesting ideas behind the project. Please update more details as soon as possible, dev. I need more information before deciding investing in the project.

I am just releasing the Qt wallets for Windows & linux along with a linux daemon and the source code on github for today. I might look at developing something like WalletGenerator.net later down the line, or maybe another member of the community might develop it :)

Just an update on what happened, it appears someone sneakily mined the crap out of the coin for the last 2 days, I only gave the source code to the 3 pools which promised me they would not mine before launch..

I am either going to relaunch and give the new code to the pools after launch or try to recoup the premined coins for some sort of giveaway.

But it is after midnight here in Ireland so I will have to begin working on fixing this in the morning.

-Ok so I have decided just to keep going as the premine was very low (and wasn't by me) but the main issue was that ASIC miners were waiting for the launch and instantly increased the difficulty at launch so no one could mine with CPU.
- I have added a bounty of 50 PSD to get the coin listed on an exchange.
- I have also reformatted the announcement to make it easier to read.
- 3 new pools have been added (Ipool, Hashpool & Tiny-Pool).
- Added Poseidon explorer to announcement.

After doing some research 0.8.7.4 seemed like the best version to clone for the features I wanted Poseidon to have :)

You should get a SmartScreen warning that shows a button "don't run" but if you click "more info" at the top it will show a "run anyway" button.

i have been talking to the dev team since this project started.  the team is passionate folks wanting to create platform and products using litecoin framework.

so far they have released the coin, wallet is working very well on my windows 10. transactions are pretty fast and reliable.

i have mined a bit on my machines using 1080 TIs using lpool (not advocating for them).


the team plans to add master node, lightening network, and segwit.  there is also research going on for add privacy (note the word research).

the community is growing in slack. dev team is answering questions and any great community people are also helping people.

The problem is that within a month at them on the website the number of visits has increased by 4 times. from 1 million to 4 million. The server doesn't maintain, but the administration says that it moves to the new server. I hope soon they will resume work.

Bounty for coin listing has been removed, replaced with a BTC donation address to go towards to cost of listing the coin, first exchange we want to list on is stocks.exchange which currently costs 0.2 BTC, any extra funds received will go towards listing on a large exchange later down the road.

Yeah the node compile guide is for ubuntu 14.04, I was unable to get it to compile in ubuntu 16.04.. but that is definite on the fix list ;D

At the moment we are still on schedule with the roadmap, we are currently waiting on a response from the exchanges I applied to be listed for free, if none get back to me before Q2 I will pay for listing.

It's planned to make reconfiguration of filesystem to increase performance of disk operations.
From 09:00 AM UTC for security reason stratums will be stopped for some hours to complete payments of all mined coins.
This important break is needed to gain performance of pool, because these days number of miners on arcpool was drastically increased
and blocks processing time was increased too.
Finish of maintenance will be announced.

Small notice: Madpool's automatic payment servers needed a push because sometimes other coins are faulty and the server blocks all payouts for security reasons and secure the balances. Anyway, all open payouts are out now and pool works in normal state with 3 hours payment interval again. trading volume is ok, but the bid price is very low,  i think there are people trying to undermine this great coin
