Which group is the world's most smart ethnic group? I guess it is Jews.

I completely agree with you. Because there are so many famous actors, scientists, philosophers, comedians among the Jews. A vivid example is Albert Einstein.

I can only see problems with such discussions, as I don't see why this would be important.
I am fairly confident that being smart has nothing to do with ethnicity and this way of looking at things can not lead to much more than discrimination.

I believe, the smartest ethnic group is the Mayans. They can build large sophisticated architectures even with no modern machineries. They build their own calendar and has a large knowledge about astronomy. They also have the ability to build a great civilization in a tropical rainforest climate.

We are talking about modern world nationalities. Mayan civilization is gone before 4000 years. however if I tell something about your comment, We can't say that old civilization better than that particular civlization. Because each of that particular civilization based on its own identity. Can we say modern western civlization is better than Mayan, Inca, Babylonia etc .. civilizations. no we can't. for instance. If you look at the IQ levels, then it got to be some of the East Asian ethnic groups. Most probably either the Japanese or the Koreans. And technology-wise, the Japanese are the best. Earlier the Germans used to give them tough competition, but the quality of the German products have gone down over the years. The Japs still maintain their quality.

I would agree with that, at least for the Ashkenazi Jews. They have an IQ level ranging from 110 to 115. But for Mizrahi (non-White) Jews, the IQ levels are much lower. Yes cos their educational system and food culture  have been planned in order to create intelligent children. Scotish and English are the world smartest ethnic group i know. Scandinavia is also a smart ethnic group that have raised people that are very skillful and talented.

There are differences in intelligence between each of the different ethnic groups, and it depends how you define intelligence.

For example Caucasians excel in creativity, whilst Asians excel in logic. However, I do agree that the jews are among the most intelligent ethnic group, this is evidenced by the fact they have the highest number of nobel prize laureates per capita, and a higher than (world average) IQ (on average). Excluding outlier countries such as Saint Lucia and Luxembourg, Sweden and the other nordic countries are also up there in terms of intelligence.

Well this is kinda pointless theme. but ok. my opinion is this: people of different societies value work and intelligence. Here are some that i know of: Prothestants are known to be very hardworking. Japanese are very innovative, hardworking and traditional. Northern europe's people are supposedly intelligent and hard working. Meanwhile Chineese and South America residents work the hardest of all. Also mesopotamia is supposed to be the cradle of civilisation, so there must be some smart people there who started it all. I can't say that no one will generalize this. there is no such thing as the smartest, ethnic group, nation, etc. There are smart people everywhere in the world, and the fact that albert einstein was a jews doesn't make them the smartest group, nor the germans the smartest nation. To make this kind of assumption you need to give everyone in the world an iq test, take into consideration their education level, the total number of citizens and make a average. only then will you be able to make a close assumption to the truth, but not even then 100% sure.

Evolution promotes the "smart" changes that help you adapt to the environment.   You don't need to be in a civilization to evolve - just look at history.

I agree. I think they have invaded many facets of our society in a good way and have excelled in their various fields. Nowadays, I mostly hear exploits of Jews in the music, art and movie industry. I am actually surprised sometimes hearing that one famous person is of Jewish descent. I think that it diversifies their ethnic culture into the world, which is a paved way for other minorities or ethic groups to follow suit. It breaks the stigma of people believing ethnic groups are somehow viewed less compared to the majority groups.

Ashkenazi Jews (Yiddish speaking) seems to be having above average IQ levels. 80% of all the jews used to be Ashkenazi, but after the holocaust their numbers dropped to less than 50% of the total. Now the Mizrahi (Arab speaking) and Sefardi (Spanish speaking) Jews seems to be the majority and their IQ levels doesn't differ much from the global average.

I've seen studies where jewish people score higher in standardized tests for the longest time. But i think it would be the chinese. More specifically Singaporean ones. Let's take away everything and let's just focus on genetics. The jewish people exclusively breed with it self. So genetically, it would have reached it's ceiling because of it non diversity.
