Title: Questions - Bittrex
Post by: Miner5436 on December 28, 2017, 09:55:26 PM
Hello, I have two questions on Bittrex users. Can I deposit and trade cryptocurrency to cryptocurrency without verification? And am I right that my withdrawal limit is 0.025 BTC per day without verification? Thank you.

You could deposit and trade, yes, but you won't be able to withdraw because unverified accounts have a 0 BTC withdrawal limit. If you want, you could try the Basic verification where you'll submit your name, address, and birth date. However, if your data didn't match any of their records, you still need to do the Enhanced which requires you to send a document and selfie.

PS. If you don't have an account in Bittrex yet, you should know that registration was disabled as of the moment.

the first thing you do is verify your bittrex account, if your account has been verified, you can trade comfortably and safely. if your account is not verified, I am afraid you will get problems related to the withdrawal of your assets.

Instead of using bittrex Why don't you use binance.com? Binance doesn't require verification for small amounts, you can open an account and start trading upto 2 bitcoins every 24 hours without being verified. For higher amounts, you will need to verify but i think most people trade in the range of 2 bitcoin.
Their support is also well, bittrex doesn't solve your issues even after months of wait

Bittrex is heavily loaded already, which is why they have disabled new account registrations, until they clear their backlog and hire more support staff. So do not expect this to happen quickly, and expect the same to happen to all major exchanges. Everywhere, they are getting new users every day and their time is consumed just dealing with these guys, especially with verification (KYC/AML). If you want to trade at centralized exchanges, make sure you fully verify before ever depositing. If you do not want that hassle, then you must go for decentralized exchanges like Waves.

What documents they mostly require? I am planning on moving to Bittrex for my trading because they've got a lot more coins than Polo (my current platform). Do you guys think this is good?

A photo of your passport, your Identity card or your license and your photo as well. After your account get verified (don't know how long it will be), you can withdraw up to 100 btc/day.
A tip for you, don't deposit any before your account get verified.

Mostly, Passport as document + Selfie. It differ depends from where country you are from. To check what documents you might need, see this list (https://www.jumio.com/id-verification/netverify/supported-countries/) (URL came from Bittrex's FAQ (https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/215282838-Frequently-asked-questions-about-account-verification)). Both exchange have issues recently so it's up to you to decide.

I would like to emphasize what fellow members recommended to you. Do not deposit to Bittrex until you are fully Verified. Take your time to go through verification. Thousands of traders suprisingly appeared in a situation that their account was restricted to withdraw overnight. Due to rapid increase of support tickets some traders still wait for their verification after several months.  :(

You can trade by depositing the amount in bittrex but when the price of the coin is increasing but when you want to withdraw you need to do verification. So you have to do verification process before depositing.

Thank you so much for your advise guys! As for now, I am using Poloniex. And I am not verified there. Planning on shifting from Poloniex to Bittrex for Bittrex have a large number of coins currently supported.
