How: BitcoinVR is hosted and governed by The Movement (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2068554), a fully decentralized organization that is collectively owned by all participants. Anyone can participate. Members of BitcoinVR can access Greenpoint, the virtual headquarter for decentralized collaboration (https://auction.decentraland.org/-21/81). By acquiring any amount of $MVT you can become an owner of The Movement organization.

Economy: In addition to BTC (as the Lightning Network comes along) BitcoinVR uses MVT and MANA as native currencies of utility and trade. In addition to the native tokens, any cryptocurrency can be traded among users within the virtual world. Individuals and groups can get in touch. Events will be planned, community-wide conferences will be held. BitcoinVR is the virtual world reference point for all things Bitcoin and crypto.

How to Become a Member & Founder of BitcoinVR?

You will receive immutable proof of ownership.

What is the purpose of this currency if decentraland already has manna?

$MVT is a utility token that represents ownership and governance rights of The Movement and all projects related to it. It is completely decentralized and not controlled by any company or third-party entity. $MANA is the native currency of Decentraland.

BTC, ETH, MANA, and MVT all serve their own purpose within Decentraland, Greenpoint, and BitcoinVR -- community for peer-to-peer exchange of both coins and ideas in the virtual world.

As a holder of $MVT you have governance and ownership rights in The Movement. BitcoinVR is a sphere of The Movement that will be built on digital land of Greenpoint, virtual headquarter for decentralized collaboration. In order to become a BitcoinVR member, you can either join BitcoinVR by paying the membership cost, or by participating in the airdrop for the first 200 Sr/Hero/Legendary members.

Membership spots are not limited. All participants that sign up until the end of Q1 2018 receive founder rank and a spot on the BitcoinVR genesis list. Only the airdrop is limited to 200 high ranking Bitcointalk members.

As a Sr. Member you may participate in the airdrop. You can also voluntarily send the fee if you wish to do so.

I love the project! The creation of custom token is solely for funding purposes but can you tell me what is the difference of this project versus the others?

It's dead for now but like Johnny said who knows what happens in the future.
