You're not going to be able to sell used equipment at above new cost. If you really want it to sell, accept $100 per card.

These could be quickly dumped @$100 each locally on craigslist ( at least in my area ) shipping on these I'd guess is $10-12 because the boxes are rather large. $129.99 +4.99 shipping on newegg.. used i would generally think 10,15 or 20% off retail would be in order. Good luck w\ sale. Title: Re: WTS 7 5830's Post by: kookiekrak on July 08, 2011, 02:49:15 PM yeah you're not gonna sell any at 11btc imo
Title: Re: WTS 7 5830's Post by: AngelusWebDesign on July 08, 2011, 05:37:39 PM And why would you expect to get more than retail for a used card, anyhow?
Just because you could in early June, during the height of the Bitcoin frenzy? Guess what? Newsflash -- the money-making frenzy is over. BTC has dropped significantly in price, even as difficulty has increased significantly. Hence, Bitcoin mining cards no longer draw the premium they once did. Get with the times. The card you're selling currently makes a paltry *1.66* per day, that that's assuming pretty cheap electricity and proportional (not pay-per-share) mining. A payoff period of 81+ days is hardly a "no-brainer". Especially since there's no telling where Bitcoin will be in three months. Three months is a long time to wait for your first dollar of profit (yes, I know you can resell the card, etc. but we're comparing apples to apples here). It used to be 12 days to pay off one of these cards. Title: Re: WTS 7 5830's Post by: shakaru on July 08, 2011, 05:39:12 PM Are you doing this because of your ferret? Wow, you must of read the other post, and the answer is yes. I moved into this new home a few months back and it just is not as cool as my old place in the summer. Im having a heard enough time keeping it cool enough for her in the day without a bunch of hardware burning up the place, so in the end, she won. Im not out of mining compleately, I just cant run 15 gpus in here. Oh and to the fellow who posted above me. Im normally with you on this one. Ive read your post in the other topics, but the fact is, Im getting the offers and half the cards are gone, so fuck the logic, ill take the money. Also, here is a secret. Europe pays well.
