My forum has been going for over two years now with no major announcements, I was reluctant to for several reasons, first and foremost, I respect this forum and do not want to steal and thunder from here, but I see alot of forums advertised here with no ill effect, if any mod finds this announcement wrong or damaging in any way please just delete, I have no wish to upset anyone.

I originally built my forum when it was announced here that there were no "giveaway" or "post to receive" style threads allowed, so I can create areas for devs to control their ico/ipo's safely, so if your a dev that would like to have their own forum section, just contact me there.

Even tho I named my site bitcointalk I saw this as respect for this forum and maybe hoped (at most) to be a backup forum for people when this forum serves maintenance or has connection difficulties for some users for whatever reason.

Its been a while ~ a year ago i really enjoyed working on this forum, actually advertised this forum and brought people to this forum. I can tell you how much squall1066 is passionate about this forum. Unlike many other people who started forums and left them in the middle, these guys never gave up on this forum, always respect his community which he is building on this forum. I know he spent a lot on this forum for the betterment of the community.

thanks so much for the kind words and the tip, it is really a confidence booster, yeah, I will be honest, I considered a few times to give up on it, many new forums "seam" to do much better in a really short space of time, but I found out its all bot posts and paid content writers, and as you say they just die due to lack of moderation/effort, so I will press on with all my projects, I can gain around 40-90 new I.P's visiting a day so it is gaining in popularity, but very slowly.

we are building up gambling and investments section, take a look, there might be something that interests you or something you would like to add.

I remember seeing your forum in past and it's great that finally you have announcement thread here ;)
Your forum looks very simple and clean. And I prefer simplicity instead of fancy and bright designs.
I will sign up on your forum. Bad that I don't enough time for alternative forums (I hardly can find time even for bitcointalk.org), but I will try to visit this forum sometimes. I wish you good luck with your forum and I hope you will get more active users.

thanks for the message, yeah v1 is being phased out end of march so many systems will start having trouble, I have just switched to "simple format" for now, I will update to v2 when I have more time.

now running some ad campaigns with some banner placements, would like to hear any improvements I can make, thank you.

I like colors, they are eyes friendly.
Moderation is on low level, if I am going to use that forum I will use it only to create topic for affiliate links, like everyone else is using other crypto forums for. I read only this forum. Hire moderators.

thats a fair comment, I scour the forum for bots daily myself and I have some friends who lend a hand from time to time, I used to hire mods in the past, it went wrong, but I will look at this again soon.

spent quite a while hunting for bots, banned around 80 today.

just to let you all know, I will be implementing better registration control, (anti-spam-bot) and looking for ways to improve awareness of this site.
if anyone has time to patrol and report posts that are obviously spam, I thank you in advance, whilst I sort out staffing issues.

thanks to the new users posting about micro earnings/faucets and new coin releases, I am all ways looking for advertisement opportunities/ forum posters or anything positive so just message me there.

yeah bot fighting is taking up too much time, I will source a 3rd party to sort out my anti bot registrations and do some white hat,

still got good posts in faucets section, so thanks for keeping that up, still looking for content, might have to do some paid forum posters, we will see.

site down right now, I am on it, it is not my fault, the server has changed the my_sqli connections, I will sort it when I get home.

moving from namecheap, they shut me down and suspended my account after years of service with no warning, and it was their fault in the first place as they set up my sqli in the first place that is leaving connections open, too many departments that don't talk to each other, I am fuming at them.

/rant off

so I might take this time to rebuild a new looking forum, it was never popular and bots got past me plenty, phpbb3 was bad for implementing anti spambot and would not work with reCAPTCHA 2.0

the only downside is I cant recover the user database if I change.

so if anyone actually cares I shall rebuild a new site from scratch, if you do care let me know and I will find someone good at pulling user databases out of a .tar.gz.
