Post by: Bitcoinpower100 on December 30, 2017, 03:29:20 AM
Hey guys,

So I've foolishly did'nt same my SEED thinking it was a one time use wallet. I also think i remember the password , but its not accepting it. So now i'm pissed and locked out of my account . I can only watch it.

Does anyone know how i'm to get in. I've heard its impossible to get into my account if I've lost both seed and pass code.

you need to have some idea of what your password is.
- for example you should know how long it was,
- what type of characters you used (upper case, lower case, symbols)
- it helps if you have a list of possible words you used in your password (e.g. Bitcoinpower100)
- generally anything that narrows that the list of possible passwords to check.

then you can use a tool like this: https://github.com/gurnec/btcrecover

I tried, I'm confused about a few steps or they not working so I'm not sure how to proceed.

if you are finding it hard to use that open source tool then there are other options/services you can use that can help you with recovering your wallet.
for example: https://walletrecoveryservices.com/
please note that i have never used this, so i don't know how trusted it is.
