Title: Congressman Thomas Massie: "We can replace the FED with Bitcoin" Post by: BitTrade on August 02, 2013, 04:33:49 AM At a libertarian convention that was attended by a few friends of mine, I was told that there was a panel of libertarian congressmen, and during a Q&A the question was asked "So if we get rid of the FED, what will we replace it with?" Congressman Massie's response was "Bitcoin!"
Massie is quite an impressive guy. He's an MIT educated engineer, and lives in a solar-powered home that he built himself. As far as I know, this may be the first public endorsement of Bitcoin from a member of the US congress.
