do you think bitcoin will rise in the 1st week of january 2018?
what price do you expect bitcoin to reach by the end of the year 2018?
will the fee problem be solved?because people are starting to use ethereum for transactions due to such high fee in bitcoin

This coming year is going to bring happiness for all the investors as prices are going to surge high with bumps although the prices are down at current but this situation is going to be over soon so relax and stay calm.As far as fee issue is concerned the developers are still trying to resolve the same but it will take some time but it is going to develop more so have faith in its power.The price speculation are near about $50-$60k by the end of next year which can be achieved as btc has shown earlier what it is capable of so just hodl.

I think the Bitcoin price could be as high as $ 100,000 because Bitcoin prices are constantly being bought by investors and certainly in the future Bitcoin will definitely increase and will never tumble over the next few years.

I am expecting a lot that is why I am holding it for now.
It already went to a price where no one expects and I know it could come back there.
Somehow I believe bitcoin is something like that.
When it reaches a higher price it goes down then back again.

First week of January is just next tomorrow. And with now being weekend and also holiday, trading activities are kind of low now.
Bitcoin will rise up a little by new year and might remain as such till people start putting back money into Crypto again.
As for the fee problem, I don't see that being solved.

I think bitcoin will fall on January 2018, too many speculation will comes up. Most people expect bitcoin will rise higher than ever but real market is mystery, but I believe will reach $ 23.000 by the end of the year 2018. Nothing worry about fees, it will not change anything. As long many people replace their money into bitcoin, fees problem will solved it self.

Possible the price of the bitcoin price again will increase because holiday is done like christmas and new year.  I think the yar of 2018 will be great than the year of 2017 . Before I expect high in the bitcoin because the rprice already reach 20k dollars but the price is 13k dollars so I expect the pricebefore end of the yeat 2018 possible become 30-50k dollars.  I hope the trasaction fee will be lower so many people use bitcoin.

You pose some good questions here, but no one truly knows the answers. But we sure as hell can speculate :)

I think in 2018 BTC will be pretty much forced into launching the lightning network to significantly improve the transaction speed issues everyone seems to be encountering. This will be a pretty monumental improvement for the BTC protocol. I think this is going to fix a ton of other small issues some people seem to have with BTC.

One thing you mentioned is true, A ton of people are adopting the notion of interacting more with ETH or ERC-20 based alts. Cheaper fees, faster transaction times. Those are massive positives in this current market. So i think the price of ETH will jump up significantly in 2018.

In regards to the price of BTC in 2018 i think it can reach 40K at some point. I have no evidence or reason to back that up other than basic increase in market adoption worldwide.

If we look to the bigger picture, we can understand clearly that Bitcoin is still at early age, Bitcoins had been consolidation over the past year and this year its break the consolidating period and started to make the first stage of movement. I believe the next year will be more interesting, we can see how the market react after it started the first stage movement. Worth to mention, that today Bitcoin prices are still cheap, even McAfee said Bitcoin is cheap. Its a great opportunity for an investor to started accumulate Bitcoin for a long-term hold. The last don't forget the lightning network is should be being implemented at 2018, I'm sure it will boost Bitcoin dominance.

I hear a lot about the lightning network and that it will fix the transaction speed but is there a clear timeline when it will get implemented? The slow speed and high fees are currently driving many people into alternatives and even though Bitcoin has the biggest brand I wonder how much longer it will take before a critical mass is making shift. 

Maybe yes, maybe no. Bitcoin price increase is always followed by a fairly high purchase of Bitcoin. And at the beginning of the week of 2018 I think Bitcoin will go up a few percent to 25,000 dollars. It's just a prediction and not a speculation. Is there any hope of me as a Bitcoin trader.

Bitcoin will pump higher for sure in 2018 and will make good money for those who believe on this great technology. Bitcoin is dumping but I believe its normal, and bitcoin is just preparing to pump.

I think 2018 will be the best altcoin year so far. Bitcoin might loose a lot of its dominance. Some reasons why to believe so:
- There's for example IOTA using the tangle data structure instead of the blockchain, thereby overcoming the scaling problems of Bitcoin (slow transactions & high fees).
- There are a lot of interesting privacy coins, overcoming the privacy/anonymity issues with Bitcoin (users can be tracked).
- There are alternatives to proof-of-work, overcoming the energy wasting problems of Bitcoin (some contries need less energy than all miners together).

Well, first i want to say that bitcoin will still stay on its range in first of 2018. It will not rise.
Second, i am holder of bitcoin but i dont expect very impossible thing like bitcoin can $22000 this end of the year. I want it not going below $13k.
Third, i am not sure if the fee can be solved or not since fork is nothing. Not solving anything.

many of us expecting that bitcoin price will rise in the 1st week of january 2018 and we are waiting the moment comes. I am sure that we need to break the price before we can increase. I think the fee is not yet solved and we still pay a high fee but I hope soon the fee will reduce so we don't have complained about the fee. I don't think that ethereum will be a good solution because we need to pay the gas and as far as I know, the gas fee increases too like bitcoin fee.

in fact nobody knows for sure at the beginning of the year bitcoin will go back up or even vice versa, which is sure everyone is optimistic that it will go back up and I am sure it will be the main capital to build.

It's easy to predict the bitcoin dominance gets eaten by the new crypto that pays a lot of attention from the market just like ripple or even cardano in the future. Because bitcoin only keep around 39 percent domination in the crypto space. it may go down again.

After all of these very expensive celebrations like Christmas, new years and other holiday seasons, Bitcoin price value will bounce back by the next year because we can now focus on trading and investments in which an opportunity by some people too to purchase bitcoin at lowest price once again. My speculated value for the next year is $20,000. I am not fans of ethereum specially that Riple coins is a threat.

I doubt it BTC will rise in the first week of January, most of the investors still enjoy the profit from the alt coin and looking for opportunity to make more from alt coins, I expect BTC will be around 40.000$ in the end of 2018, and fee problem has been a huge problem for a long time ago, I doubt it will be fixed
