I know it's supposed to happen on jan. 1st for bittrex members but what about other exchanges ?
The price has gone down by a lot in the past few hours so does it mean people are trading already?

Why do I get the feeling that by jan. 1st ,the price will be very low and most of us will have missed a great opportunity to make money ?

People are trading futures contracts. Essentially an agreement between people owed Ignis and the exchange that the equivalent amount of one shares of the futures being converted to ignis once they become available. It is big busines for exchanges these days, ignis seems to be blowing up too. ;D

It's a nice way to open up markets for those that invested.

Now the IGNIS deal, it seems, is just futures, so there's no real role for it, it seems like it's going to be a month before the formal deal.

so does that mean price can only go down until jan. 1st ?

I prefer to keep buying in case there is a dumb after free money distribution. even ignis ico occurs nicely but there are still a free money right. so there is lot chance to earn profit

No, not necessarily. Prices might go up or down but it's all speculation and based on trusting that the exchange will come through with the promise of delivering on the traded futures.

That is also my question I check in coinmarket cap and it is written there that Ignis is available in Hitbtc  for ETH token only but if you search ignis in HITBTC you can find ignis listed there  if that is the future contract price then why people bought  1 ignis for almost 28$ per coin considering it is an airdrop coin and has 1Billion supply. once January come and Ignis is available in trading expect it may go down less than 1$ but I hope it will not happen cause  I bought NXT for 12400 Sats   :( and Ignis will be the hope to compensate my loss

i wonder how to corelate price of ignis future with incoming market of ignis
if ignis future price is high, but people dump their ignis coin as it enter exchange, will future ignis price will affect too??
will this future work as pending buy order or pending sell order in exchange?
according to https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ignis/ now ignis future price is  $8.92 USD
so when you said that price will go below $1 it's possible if no one hold it at certain price

i dont rely so much in ignis even i allready lost like 0.1 btc in NXT because of masive dump yesterday. soon after people get their free money (ignis) they will dump it again like before.

I belive the price will only go up! Ignis will fly high.

at some point I do believe what you think., but what do you think the price will be ? it went to $0.8 and so far from IOU ATH that reach 20$ :(
