Hey Guys! When do you think ripple be added to coinbase. I heard it was gonna be 8th Jan. What do u guys think?

I don't know, I didn't see the news, but XRP is now trading on many exchanges, and it has been rising in recent days, so you can consider selling it.

This is good news if it's true, BTW what is the requirements to be listed on CoinBase?

I don’t think anyone can confirm whether this news is real. Let’s wait till 8 Jan to confirm whether this is just fuds to pump ripple price or good news for the community.

I doubt Coinbase would let info like that leak, since they just had a mild embarrassment over "insider trading" with regards to Bitcoin Cash.

I think Ripple is a logical choice for Coinbase, but I would not trust a rumor.  

It won't, ripple is a centralized coins and this is the only thing that will make it never going to be added to coinbase.

Ripple is exactly the opposite of what bitcoin has been created for.

It is like saying that cryptos has been created to avoid banks, and with ripple we are just entering banks again, this is a great joke.

But no, they are never going to add it to coinbase because it is on their ToS, they are not going to list a centralized altcoin.

Ripple is said to be added around January 20th sometime. I dont remember the specific date.

Exactly I don't know ripple is adding in coinbase or not but my think it's rumor because ripple is a centralised currency.In coinbase adding currency all are decentralised.

I think it might be added to COINBASE, because let's face it, being the 2nd largest coin in marketcap, even surpassing ETHEREUM and having huge volume would make it a good choice purely out of volume and sales perspective. COINBASE is a business and at the end of the day it will look out for itself to make profits and it's own bottom line, so I wouldn't put it past COINBASE to add XRP because of the seer volume of business it will bring to COINBASE.

Coinbase only lists a handful of coins, so if they are adding Ripple, that could lead to an influx of new investors. Especially now it has taken the second spot.

First off, I’m a Ripple holder, not trying to FUD.

But, Apparently this Ripple to Coinbase Rumor started based on tweet, where someone posted a screen shot of a supposed Coinbase update that showed Ripple to be added on 1/8.

Unfortunately, it is probably a fake.  The screen shot could be easily made using developer tools to modify the Coinbase website from inside many web browsers.  

I might be wrong, but I don’t think this is real, at this point.  Although, I do think Ripple is a logical addition to coinbase and will eventually be added.
