I cannot exactly say which is the most reliable and trusted, because there are few that are worth mentioning like bitmex, bittrex, binance, kucoin,cryptopia..etc might have missed few

Bitrex, etherdelta and binance are now widely used for trading purposes. I see in this list also bitrex most choosy trading site among the forum member. I like polenix site but recently we find many complaints about the polenix scams now.
Whatever the exchange is not matter to get the profit in the trading, you have to choose the best coin on daily basis to invest that is enough.

There is no other exchanges can depend binance. Binance is the best trading on 2018 for me. I like the mobile interface of binance because its easy to understand, there is no hassle at all. Besides, it was night mode so it is okay to trade at night.

Ive heared binance even in the social media page and most feedbacks site is good for trading exchange. I also choose this exchange that most reliable and trusted. Binance is becoming popular lately because of their service.

For a while I prefer in etherdelta and binance a place to do trading because I think it's a more easily understood exchange place and does not spend a lot of gas to make transactions.

I used to be a supporter of hitbtc, but in last 2 months they are really terrible. Just look how they are treating XEM/NEM deposits and operations (blocked from a week). Then before XEM/NEM problems I've noticed similar for other currencies.

Now I'm using Kucoin for 95% of my trades.

I used hitbtc frequently, but they don't care for customer tickets. Binance also worked fine this year.

For 2018 I favor Binance as the best Exchanger. This is seen from the Binance Support Team which is always actively ditelegram. A few months ago I had a bit of trouble withdrawing and they responded quickly. Even Binance currently occupy the world's first standings based on Trading Volume.

If you are new in the trade and binance seems to be a very good answer for you. Basically, the majority of exchange sites are using KYC verification. I believe that will make the new users or comers are not feeling convenience by using it. that's why to choose the reliable exchange site becomes a responsibility for you.

I think for a newbie to invest in bitcoin by the end of 2017 this is for me very lucky. because in view from next year 2018 bitcoin prices will be more fortunate to fold. If you by investing in your trading will be quicker to get the results for you in a short time.

Bittrex is a trusted exchanger. I suggest you trade there because of the small likelihood of the waste altcoin listed on Bittrex.

This probably doesn't help, but i prefer Bittrex because i really like the iphone app. I do most trading from my phone.

my vote goes to cex.io.  Reasons are simple: banks block bitcoin payments in my country so on cex.io I am allowed to sell crypto and then withdraw funds to master card or visa electron. Fees are reasonable 3.8 $ or 3.5 euro per withdraw. So far it worked like a charm. few days ago they changed their policy and asked users to deposit own cards in order to continue to use.

the best market for 2018 I think is still held by bittrex because bittrex security is very high and very safe and the volume level circulating in the market is very high.

I can think of a few members that would wreak havoc and reign fire upon this thread. Exchanges, believe it or not are quite a touchy subject for certain people and with good reason; a lot of users have arrived too recently to remember the many, many, many exchanges that have fallen victim to hacks, seizures, shut-downs and outright exit scams. There has been millions of dollars stolen by, from and through exchanges over the years and so be careful when you're asking about the most trusted exchanges, because often the biggest exchanges are the ones which fall hardest.

I've heard it analogized many ways, but probably my favorite has got to be equating exchanges to "playing roulette with full cylinders"; there will be a problem, it's only a matter of when and how severe. I would suggest keeping little to no coins on an exchange and when they are on an exchange, if that is your only option for liquidation (which should be avoided, anyways) then cycle them through the exchange as quickly as you possibly can.

All this being said, I use Gemini whenever I have the need for a quick cash influx for whatever random reason my ape brain decides is a good use of my coin. (it almost never is) I've never waited more than 2-days for a withdrawal, bitcoin price is pretty low, fees are almost non-existent.

You've been warned, exchanges are scary and are just as likely to scam or fail as any random member around this forum; more money/volume/recognition just means more reason/incentive to disappear in a cloud of smoke. It can't be overstated that you cannot rely on the security of some 3rd party; it is best to take matters into your own hands and keep your coin where you know it's safe. Use randomly generated, long strings of varied characters (special characters, too) for passwords, always use 2-FA if possible and all the other good ole' security measures that mamma raised you on!

Going forward with the way etherdelta has been able to handle it's recent DNS hack, I would say etherdelta is the exchange to look out for in 2018 and beyond. Decentralized exchange is way better than centralized exchange.

bittrex, binance , coinmarket cap is more reliable  now i think. recently binance release his official apps for android you can get it from google play store.

I think bittrex is listed as one of the best exchange sites for now as it offers a very good coin rates and has accurate highs and lows about a coin and i think one can earn a good profit from the accurate prices. polenix is also a very popular exchange now and this has also gained a very high interest from the traders. But I mostly think that trading skills are more important than having a good exchange as skills will let you earn more.

if I should choose I pick binance, not the best but I think binance most valuable Exchange in 2018. binance at this time low fees, good support and the most important support is Android smartphone apps. lot of information offered in binance. during i used binance I never had a serious problem, peer to peer his BNB very cheap today than if with bitcoin or altcoin other. I think that 2 Exchanger will emerge and become the biggest commercial site that is Binance and Kucoin. This is a two-page trade is creating a great confidence from the investor community when they have attracted a huge trading volume, although not long established, both have very low transaction fees, this is one of their advantages. At present, the coin exchanged on these two trading sites has developed very well, promising to continue to attract large capital flows from investors in the future.

I think binance exchange is improving a lot in terms of security and coins they are listing are very secured. Right now they are not delaying any withdrawal and deposit for the transaction and I hope it will soon become the most trustable exchange.

I really prefer Poloniex bt now since it is the trading site I am used too but there are good exchanges to go on too like Binance, Cryptopia and the new one Kucoin exchange. Some of the latter I said has lot of room for improvement and they could be good exchanges for 2018. For me the worst would be Hitbtc since I don't really agree on their policy of just using even number for a buy and sell cause sometimes it lead that you will forgot and just leave extra coins out there. Bittrex us good too but I heard for the meantime they are not accepting new users I supposed.

On etherdelta you can sell just every single shit coin, but for trading purposes it is not valid, volumes are so low

Hitbtc is awesome with different tokens but they never answer for the support requests.

Bittrex is also nice but they may suspend accounts without asking or warning.

Binance is also good but they sometimes make interesting decissions. There were no limit orders for example.

I like bittrex and binance. I am transferring closed positions from bittrex and rotating to next trades in binance because lower fees. But there are a couple alt coins mainly DGB, RDD, Black coin that I trade that are not on binance. But between the two you get most alt coins. My only problem with binance is it is so damn slow for me. I not sure if it is because where I live but I spend valuable time waiting to load charts or even log in. Binance seems to crawl when you get a sell off on multiple coins same time. That never happens on bittrex. It has not cost me yet really because I use 4hr charts.

That's either a little naive, or very disingenuous in my opinion. I already stated a lot of the problems that have ailed exchanges in the past and from where I'm standing it seems silly to downplay all of these past problems as "little problems." I can personally point to people I've witnessed or observed lose thousands of dollars of their own personal coin. I think we need to be honest about the risks that come with the "convenience" of exchanges and the services they offer. I use exchanges myself, don't get me wrong, but I'm very aware that any coin sitting on an exchange wallet has to be coin I am ready and willing to lose at any given moment.

When someone is asking about exchanges and which to use, it is very important that you mention any and all of them could dissipate into thin air, or simply refuse to handle your support request; you may lose everything gyou have on the exchange, if you think that is a little problem then fine, but I'm positive most would disagree and most don't even see that as a reality.

Does this mean that you can't use Binance if you're in the USA? Seems like it's very popular, and I'm interested, but I'm curious why it's listed down for just China?

in the last 2017 bittrex is the most often I used as a traders in this industry, but there's a new exchange which I think in the near future it would be like or become like Bittrex also someday and this is Binance and Coinbene exchange.

Binance and Kucoin are the two exchanges that are rising like a star in the trading scene and they are really the best right now. I transferred my funds to them from bittrex which is my former number 1 but because of lot of complaints, I'm already afraid to use it.

I suggested you try hitbtc and binance, for me they have good services. Last year ( 2017 ) I use bittrex but has bad experience, so I decides to replace my crypto activity into another exchange. In my opinion, binance is the best exchanger for 2018. It is easy for working with it. The support team also very good and active. On the other side, bittrex, hitbtc, kucoin are also good because they are biggest and world wide also.

Yeah, that exchangers are all recommended of some pro traders in the community. That's what you are looking for i think those exchangers are reliable and trusted for several years in crypto. But check out for some new exchangers comming this 2018 like Sugar exchange and also the next exchange.

I've been in many trading platforms before like Bittrex, Poloniex, Cryptopia and others. But now I stick with Binance and Etherdelta... binance is I think on the top list of best exchanges on this year and so on.

The best exchanger for 2018 i think binance will be in the top and followed by Etherdelta in 2nd place, binance is very simple you can trade your altcoin to ETH or BTC.

I use Bitfinex, and i like the UI and it's simply an underrated exchange.
I will not review the withdrawals and Prices because these exchanges share the same features and rates.

The UI is good and you can choose a theme based on your preferences. You will experience lag if your PC is a bit old.

May be ccex, poloniex and bitfinex. Those site is have big brans name. I think they will not turn into scam because they can get more profit by run their service instead of turn into scam. I think mercatox is also good, I like the UI.

For me in 2018 the best exchaned is binance. Because is best to exchanged to bitcoin and no hazzle to transaction of your currenry you want.

Agree, I prefer Binance and Cryptopia, and some little exchangers. We can buy some altcoins new coming on Cryptopia. The "little" new coming alt coin can't be listed on some "big" exchangers.

On the other hand, be careful for some "little" exchanger, they may run away with you money anytime.
 

I'm no linguist, but it definitely sounds like you believe that "running away" with your money isn't in the cards for one of the larger exchanges, but let me be the guy that repeats himself; the biggest losses, hacks, scams have come from the place that everyone least expects. It is actually quite often that these big exchanges have security breaches, attacks, hacks, or just exit-scam themselves. When there is that much money and bitcoin circulating into one place it's a concentration point for hackers and anyone who figures out a small-exploit that wishes to scale it up.

I've said my piece for the most part, but I would like to say that big exchanges have disappeared in front of my eyes many times, leaving people in awe and class-action lawsuits that go no where. I've dealt with a few smaller exchanges, and watched plenty of them operate and I'll say that I definitely think that small exchanges are less likely and have less incentive to disappear with your money.

The smaller mom and pop shop is more likely to care about it's customers, where as bigger corporation just see numbers and at a certain point all they care about it what is going to be a bigger number at thee end of the day, sometimes closing up shop and running is their biggest number after they've dehumanized their client base.

I’ve been into Bittrex, though at first, it was Poloniex and after trading on their platform for a long time, I decided to switch to Bittrex and it has been good all the way. Don’t know if there are others much better than it, but I’m not the type that likes jumping from one place to another. But as it seems, Binance might be a good one to check out.

Most of the exchangers are trusted as long as they are in the top list of coinmarket cap in terms of the volume change. I mean there are exchangers which are still great in 2018 and we can go and use them just the way we used to before. For me the list starts with HitBTC, Binance and Yobit. Only one exchanger is very big one but I like others as well because they are the one where my most of the coins are traded. So choosing exchangers really depends on the coins that you wan tot trade in the first place. It could be available on the many exchangers but the volume of that particular coin is also important as we can decide to trade depending on that. So yeah can have one exchanger or many and everything depends on the internal as well as external factors. :-)

Looks like 2018 will be the year of Binance as the volume of trading in Binance increased and surpassed other trading platforms. What Bittrex did last December in halting all new registration is other exchangers gain like Binance. Poloniex will remain relevant in the race for the best exchangers but if they continue to ignore support tickets they may lose more clients to other exchangers.

I liked KUCOIN till last week. Since their volume went up, they are very crazy. Can't login right. Emailed, tweeted to support but still no response. and their servers are not done upgrading yet I think. Beside that, I like Binance and Bittrex. Traded very less amount in Hitbtc but saw very high fee. Kucoin has reasonable fee in my opinion.

I think binance and HitBtc are the best exchangers that I have seen up until now. I'm able to trade efficiently on these trading platform and getting handy with them. What surprises me a lot is android app of the binance exchanger. It's too much handy and I can buy/sell the coins or tokens very easily over it. So if you want to get started newly then these are two recommendations from my side for you.

There are lot of exchange but which will be the best ,I think poloniex and Bittrex was the best in 2017 and don't know will it remain the top list in 2018 although recently binance also pretty good ,it can move to top 3 list of exchange.

For altcoin trading, I'll choose Binance, Poloniex, and Bittrex. Bittrex and Poloniex is so so. I think Binance will dominate the market for altcoin trading for now.

It's a matter of preference. Most platforms have their strongpoints. I personally prefer bittrex because I've used it for a while and it's kinda seemless. Binance have gained popularity over the last couple of months. You can also try it.

After trading consistently for the last year, I think there no single best exchange, theres always small differences and alt coins on each exchange!
but so out of all that I tried Binance (best overall) and Kucoin (most simple interface) and Huobi (best withdrawal fees).

I think exchange best for 2018 is Binance. Newly launched six months have a greater trading volume than Bittrex and Poloniex. Binance uses BNB 50% transaction fee and transaction fee is very small.

It will be quite difficult to select one most reliable and trusted because we have many of the reliable and trusted exchanges working since a long time. Some of them are Coinbase, Bittrex, Poloniex, HiBTC and Binance.
Coinbase is available for some specific countries and have only top ranking cryptos.
Bittrex have a very well reputation and probably the most loved and famous site among the crypto traders.
Poloniex is also one of the best but due to certain issues faced by user regarding scam in past few months have badly affect the reputation.
HiBTC is also facing some issues like slow withdrawals etc.
I will recommend Binance because it is providing user friendly interface and the best deals with variety of cryptos, i am currently using it.

for now in doing altcoin trading activities i have more entrusted some Exchangers like Bittrex, poloniex, Hitbtc and cryptopia so far i havn't experienced any problems in doing various trading transactions and I think maybe this is the best for trading transactions.

Yeah, these ones are being used often; including Bitfinex and poloniex, but the truth is that most of them would always end up having one complaint and the other and not just poloniex.

Bittrex had its own before the end of 2017 when they locked so many accounts, I won't be surprised if the few ones that are new now would still have some complaints over the years, but the best thing is just to try as much as possible to stay safe and none of these exchanges can be considered as best to me, unless you want to rate them in terms of trading functions and platform usability.

Poloniex charges less fee compare to bittrex. But in terms of trading and coins it lacks. Binance is the best option for trading and all.

Bittrex still remains the best exchanging platform and I love this site because it contains a lot of token and coins. Another excellent exchangers platform I like is c-cex they are fast in customers services and must of the transactions do succeed with speed. The two foregoing platform are trustworthy and I have never have problems with them.

That's something which I will agree with you as Poloniex charges lesser commission than other exchanges but sometime if you are looking for a quick exchange without the hassle of registration or when you do not want to update any ID proof and it's a transaction of lesser amount than I would suggest shapeshift.io as the best exchange platform.

I will recommend to work at Binance, Bittrex and Ploniex exchanges. Also can't say anything bad about smaller exchanges like Cryptopia.
Will not recommend HITbtc, every time you try to withdraw, sometimes even to deposit you need to wait hours , days, sometimes weeks and no matter which coin or token is it. Lost a lot of money and nerves waiting for my funds.  :(

Binance is pretty good I guess. With BNB pair you can get discount on the fee, it's good marketing tho.

I only have Bittrex and Binance recently so I can't really tell which is the best for this year. As we all know, not all coins are available in one exchanger so you really need to open an alternative that accepts the coins that you think will have potential in long run. Binance will take the lead as an Exchange in this year 2018.Their service is much greater than Bittrex. The trading cost and withdrawal fees are very low in Binance when considering other main exchanges.

binance has stopped new account registration, they need to upgrade their hardaware and servers to support this much of traders. It was really great exchange now it start to lag, after upgrade it should be good

I have always had good luck with cryptopia as far as an exchange goes. Only con is that you can't cash out fist. Cuz it's in new zealand

I would go with Binance, I think the exchange will do really well this year. It's doing so well, registrations for new accounts has been stopped and they are going to upgrade their servers to handle more volume and such.

Binance is best exchange so far for 2018. I think Kucoin will become next best exchange in 2018 since they have add some potential tokens, altcoins there.

I think poloniex and binance is good exchanger for this year, but i have still fund in bittrex and i am planning to withdraw that and finding other exchange to hold my fund and buy more coin to hold for long period of time because i feel that this year would be great for altcoin.

i was using it from long time but i think I suggested you try hitbtc and binance, for me they have good services. Last year ( 2017 ) I use bittrex but has bad experience, so I decides to replace my crypto activity into another exchange. Hitbtc and binance also has good track record, even sometimes got delay, but mostly succeeded. I believe those exchange will become the main exchange for us, they always try fix their system to give customers better services every day. Try it and hope you agree with me.

I've heard about binance a new and inoovatve exchanger with low fees and charges. I think that might be the exchanger of 2018 because thiat have good feedbacks and comments from users and traders but binance has a user limit which require their database to update as soon as possible.

One thing about the world of exchange is that, do not ever trust any exchange because they can decide to play hide and seek for you one day and your funds will all be gone with them.

I thought bittrex was the best exchanger until they closed down some accounts without notification, and even though I was not affected, it could have happened to anyone. Binance looks good now and everyone is talking about it, but I would not be too comfortable with any of them.

For me its poloniex exchange, i never had any encountered problem using this exchange since i started my journey in trading crypto currency. The support are active and the withdrawal fee is very cheap. Hands down to poloniex! I cant say anything negative

Binance is a really great exchange for cryptocurrencies and they are also strict in accepting and they are not just like the other exchange that just accept and accept because they are making sure that the company of the cryptocurrency has the product and that will give them chance to get listed because that is one of their qualification and i think that if Binance will become more popular then it will be a great competitor of the old exchanges like bittrex and polonext.

I am not an expert in trading but I've heard the good exchanges are binance, bittrex, hitbtc and poloniex. But try to research more about the exchanges to get an idea. This forum is helpful too because some professional trader share their experienced in exchanges here.

As far as I knew, binance is the first among the rest exchange in this time. It is incredible that the volume of each coins in this exchange became incredibly high. Well, as far as I know, if the volume is high that would probably the best chance for the coins to pump.

I think binance and poloniex is the best exchanges right now. They are user friendly and doesn't need any technical know how to start trading.

I think this years stars will be Kucoin and Binance. With their cheap fees, fast interface and rapid speed of adding new coins, i think they will thrive to the top in 2018. Kucoin is also has a profit sharing system with their members. So you can look into them.
I should add that Binance stopped accepting new members temporarily to upgrade infrastructure.

I think Bittrex and Binance would be the best exchanger for 2018. There are a few other good exchangers you can start trading like Kraken, Cryptopia, and Livecoin.

bittrex is best i think, and it is the most popular exchange world wide, also have binance cryptopia, hitbtc. this is trustable i didnt see or facing any problem.

Binance is the best and best option at this time because almost all altcoin, if listed on Binance, is highly pumped and can be x3-x5 in just a few hours. I think this is the exchange that helped me get the most profit

Actually i like bittrex but since it has to verify to increase the limit it's a bit annoying, i also like hitbtc cryptopia and livecoin even etherdelta, as long as they give good service to me they are all the best.

I've been with poloniex and bittrex over 3 years and they are still great as always. Maybe some people complain about bittrex , of course any exchanger can't be fully worked forever but overall I'm satisfy with bittrex exchanger, my favorite !

Well I think the best exchanges for altcoin trading are Bittrex and Binance. The only thing you need to pay attention to is that on Bittrex you need to wait a while to get verified while Binance offers you a 2 BTC daily withdrawal limit as a unverified member.  ;)

At the moment I like Binance the best but upcoming exchanges to watch out for in 2018 will include KUCOIN, COSS AND COB and also those exchanges give you some nice rewards if you hold their coins. Now Binance and KUCOIN coins are way too expensive for my budget, I decided to get COB AND COSS tokens which are still undervalued and under the radar so when these two exchanges explode, then the price of the tokens will explode also. So for now trading wise Binance is best but the others are on my radar as well.

Etherdelta is what we used here in our city because it is a trusted exchanger and another is bitrex and binance which is widely used. I only know a few things about them but you can search it on Google. On the other hand, some exchanger doesn’t accept a new registration maybe because of data traffic. You have to choose the trusted exchanger in order to get your profit from trading.

My respect for ctyptopia is growing each day, despite beeing a small exchange. But in this world the best politics is trust only in you. I also use bittrex and no problems untill now.

It has a lot of new coins there and they have a very great exchange and user interface which looks professional for me but for the simplicity and being more user friendly then i will go for bittrex but they have a lesser amount of coins there but still a great exchange for trading.

I think most all exchanger have their own advantages and disadvantages because they are not perfect.
In my opinion, best or not is depending us who use the exchanger and use the exchanger that you really look for and choose it from the top exchanger like bittrex and binance.

Hitbtc is a shit exchange , they gave lots of people problems.

Binance exchange is no doubt the best in 2018 because the exchange has been doing a lot of things to become the best since Q4 of 2017 and in the year 2018 binance exchange emerge as the best exchange.

I remember in 2017 binance said they will take the number one spot in the trading market in 2018/and behold today in the market they are first in trading volume to the extent of closing access to registration and only open it for few minutes. 

in this moment many exchanges, even the most famous ones, have to solve some important problems due to excessive traffic and the many new requests for registration.
 For me, in addition to trading fees, platform stability and customer support are just as important.

For me I like Binance and Kucoin but Binance should be considered for best exchange because of its premium services and security conscious platform and other things such as withdrawals and deposits never take a long time to be processed as is the case with some exchanges like hitbtc who have been in this business like forever but never show their experience.

Bitfinex is really working nicely but their token portfolio is limited, it's not rich as Binance. I think that's why people are preferring Binance because the trade variety is better there.

It's true, and at the same time not true. GDAX, as several other exchanges, work with maker and taker fees, where you as high volume trader gets to experience lower fees the more volume you generate.

In case of GDAX makers don't pay any fees at all. Maker means that you add liquidity to the order book, which is what they try to encourage you to do this way. Takers do pay a fee, but that's all based on the volume they generate.

If you're a small scale trader, which basically accounts for the majority of the people here, you'll be subject to a taker fee of 0.25%, which is pretty steep honestly speaking, but that's how they set up their fee structure.

I like Binance as they provide 0.1% fee. And they are continuously working to improve. I used to respect hitbtc but after I lost $100 there I became a hater. Now I keep binance acc, coinbase acc and recently got a freewallet acc cause they are really working hard to keep low fees and do btc transactions quite fast and cheep

For now, this seems to be the best so far because they have not really done anything wrong and because of the trading fee, which seems very lovely to me.
However, I would not be too relaxed or comfortable to put too much there, and only trade with what I can still afford to lose. So far, they have shown themselves to be worth trading on and with the ability to do some pretty good analysis which is good to me.

Binance is one of the best exchange in the market I have noticed many new come altcoins in the coinmarketcap mostly taken to binance only. There are many exchanges holds the decent amount of the supply within the exchange alone.
There are many people using the trading site in this binance would be perfect one for the newbies or experienced members in the exchange list.

I agree with you that bittrex and poloniex are among best exchanges but I feels the dominance of these exchanges is fading away because they cease to list new tokens.

In my opinion best exchanges are those who got alts and tokens which you want to trade and have the most liquidity for it, and if it is decentralized, than you are lucky enough :)

Best in my experience for me, KuCoin and Binance they are good and haven't encountered a problem yet.

Binance and Kucoin are developing very fast and so far both stood up to their promises. But the choice of altcoins on both is very limited.

There are a lot of good exchanger for 2018 but there are also the best one like Binance, Kucoin, Cryptopia, Hitbtc and there's a lot more. I would recommend you to test the Binance exchange. It is the best exchanger for me because of it's low transaction fee, low withdrawal fee, good security, good platform and also good for beginners. It is very easy to use and it is using the best security for me.
