Although I must say you noobs barely said bitcoin would hit $1300 ever again. I myself hit bitcoin as $7000 and that was when bitcoin was $200 and i myself got wrong too cause It rose almost 3 times more and by your troll standards i was extreme / insane.

Yes, For the price of 8000 $ I think it can. Ethereum could have risen to that price but on condition, Developer burned some Ethereum that he had. Reducing the supply will be easier to raise the price because the coins we can get will be reduced.

Ethereum can get to $5000 in one year! We have seen many altcoin that not as valuable as ethereum rising so much within very short period of time. In my opinion and my prediction ETH can be reach that level price but not in 2018, could be lately in 2019. The fundamental of ETH still strong but now any competitor of ETH like NEO, ADA, EOS. $4k on year 2018? Well thats too much to consider or really very unrealistic if we do try to look and see on the movement of prices of ETH on its past years. We may see now sudden price jump but it cant really jump that high on next year. Its possible but would not really be on next year for sure. Yes the 2018 is good for the crypto market and the Ethereum is good because the people flow towards this is for investment and they will hold the currency for long time then it can be said that the Ethereum price will move a head it will cross the limit of $4000 in the 2018. It's a long shot.  That would be a massive increase considering how much it is just now.  But then again, what we've seen lately with bitcoin rising so high is how that becomes a pull effect for ETH and other alts.  Should bitcoin keep increasing to new ATH's then perhaps ETH can reach this value also.  I think it'll do well to reach $2K in the next year but then again this is crypto, you never really know what is around the corner.  Time will tell.

Realistically it could rise to around 1k USD to 2k USD maximum by the end of 2018. There is an ETH hardfork coming around 19th January where they will fork ETHERZERO. So am not sure if that might give ETH a good old pump or so. As more and more ICOS come, there will be more and more demand for Ethereum usage, but you need to be aware that other platforms also will be competing for business like Stratis, Ardor, NEO and EOS. So there will be competition in this space as well to come.

I think 10,000 is possible in 2018 if blockchain continues to take off. Both BTC and ETH could reach $1T in market capitalization which would be over 10k per ETH. For big profits though, look to more obscure coins like SXC that have the potential for 100x or 1000x expansion.

Agree, the price of eth last year at the first quarter of the year is really great then the following quarter is going down, im hoping that also by this year by the first quarter or the whole year will be the ETH year so that the price will get high though  now we could see that the transactions over the eth is really slow so there would be a lot that would be done to make it fast back and back to normal sort of a fork for eth is suggested.

It was a real surprise during the last 2 months when btc prices suddenly spike without much reason and then in last couple of weeks it fall down as the spike was not genuine and today we are at 13k  from 18k+. So again ETH will rise in this year but will it spike like btc is the question as it generally a reliable coin and has a stable price mostly.

I dont think that eth could rise until 4.000 USD. Since the bitcoin still in low price it will hard to reach that price as we know bitcoin is the main coin of cryptocurrecy. I am expecting moderate growth.  If it exceeds 2-3 times then I will be pleasantly surprised.  Personally, I like to pick projects I believe in - invest over time through dollar cost average and then sit back and learn, explore and try not to fret about how quickly the price is moving.  It tends to go up when i least expect it. 

anything is possible in cryptocurrency world remember LTC grow above 400% of it initial value within one month in 2017 so dont be surprise if ETH hit a price even more than $4000 in 2018. everything is speculation so unjust might happen especially nowadays when it seems price of altcoin is being influenced. another example of this is XRP. as at today XRP is above $2 which happen within I month (December 2017) so you can see anything is possible.

Ethereum can go way more than 4k USD in 2018. Don't you see Ripple, even that centralized coin can go higher marketcap numbers. Ethereum should be over 10k USD this year. Whole crypto currency marketcap will expand bigger this year. I wait at least 15x rise in total marketcap this year alone.

Why would you not want any coin to reach any amount of price? $5 for 1 transaction at $4k is better than $1 fee for $400. Sure your fiat value goes up but your gas will more or less remain the same, and if it has a higher value, why not? be a realistic about your predictions. to be honest, i'm one a big fan of ethereum, and i believe that ethereum will to more grows. but i think to reach $4000 for ethereum in this year will be hard, as we know the price now is $680. perhaps $1500-$2000 is possible in this year.
