what max amp rating you need for each outlet ? Title: Re: PDU 200-240V recommendations? Post by: gregfromo on December 31, 2017, 05:57:09 PM input will be 16 or 20 amp
max per outlet 5-6 amp Title: Re: PDU 200-240V recommendations? Post by: xxcsu on December 31, 2017, 06:25:19 PM If you have or you can install a NEMA L6 30R (https://www.amazon.com/Leviton-2620-Receptacle-Industrial-Grounding/dp/B00002NAT9/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_60_bs_tr_t_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=MA5XR8N8JYCN1P37PT1H) wall connector , my suggestion is use PDU30SWHVT16FNET 30A with 16-Outlet (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=0PY-0005-00073)
if you going to have a 20 amp input then PDU20SWHVIEC8FNET (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA54V63T1840) going to be overloaded , that pdu is Derated to 16A , better if you give some extra room for those amps ;) Title: Re: PDU 200-240V recommendations? Post by: gregfromo on January 01, 2018, 09:11:00 AM I can't power all outlets the same time with mingrigs, each drawing 4-6 amp. that's obvious.
The mentioned CyberPower devices was only for reference, I can buy/use whatever I want. The location isn't build yet, I'm at the planing stage, if its better to have IEC309 with 32A, I can order this, but unfortuantly I'm clueless concerning this electricity/wiring stuff. let's say if the APC AP7922 (http://www.apc.com/shop/mk/en/products/Rack-PDU-Switched-2U-32A-230V-16-C13/P-AP7922) is better suited and I can get them cheap, I'd take it... or Avocent PM3003V-401 any recomendations? |
